Myself and my son really enjoyed this place! I didnt find out about it until this year but wanted to explore new places with my son...the slides were great...very friendly except one employee at the food staff was super rude! Also, they do need to constantly clean up the leaves in the lazy river. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves for 2 days straight at this park! We will be going back!

I work nearby...so i regularly fly my UAV to document the condition and decline of the property. Its currently well maintained landscape wise and graffiti free ! Hopefully someone will buy it...but with Kings Island right across the street it doesnt look promising.

This was the best experience I have had with my family! It literally is a mini vacation day. The Lines are short staff friendly and prices for drinks and food are fair. They have a live band and u can drink a ice cold adult beverage while chillin at the edge of the wave pool . This place is like Paradise.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN BRINGING OUR FAMILY HERE FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS. NEVER A DISAPPOINTMENT ALWAYS A GREAT TIME. THE LINES ARE NEVER LONG, THE FOOD IS VERY AFFORDABL . AND THE STAFF ARE EXCELLENT AND LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE PLENTY OF LIFE GUARDS AT ALL TIMES. WE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING OUR FAMILY HERE EVERY YEAR. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE.

It was a fun place to go BUT.... was VERY Disappointed when you couldnt bring in any kind of snack or drink. They only let you bring in a bottle of water. We had to go out to the parking lot to eat our snacks. In my opinion that is a CRAZY rule. They only offer pop, slushie, beer, mix drinks, tea. Which I dont drink. It was an extremely hot day and all I wanted was water. There pop cup is $10 X 3kids and $1 for refills. CRAZY. $20 FOR SENIORS (seriously) to get in the park. My daughter did get tickets cheaper on Groupon for her 3 girls and herself.

Been going to the beach waterpark since I was a kid and I loved it. I know take my kids they love it ... Wed rather be here than at a theam park any day of the week

They do not answer the phone.they website will not show up saying it is unsecured or has been hacked.last year we paid for a family membership and they never did give us our id card.

Opening day here and the water is full of debris. Yuck. The pearl pool is supposed to be warm and its not. This place is showing its age. Regretting not getting a Kings Island season pass instead.

Spent an enjoyable day here with six kids. Pricing is affordable. My only issue is I am a adrenaline junkie but at times, I felt like I was going to fly out of some of the water slides there and I see nothing to ensure that doesnt happen. I feel like they are fine for kids but if you have any weight on you at all, this is what creates the issues.

This is our new favorite water park! The prices were reasonable from tickets to food. The park was extremely clean, lifeguards were attentive, and the setting was so nicely done intertwined with nature. I have a teen down to a 5yr old and they all had a blast at this park! My favorite part was that it was not busy. I am tired of paying a fortune to wait in line all day and receive poor customer service like other larger water parks. This was unforgettable and we will be back!

Enjoy myself everytime I go.! Good clean waterpark. Rides are fun, lazy river is awesome, and the Wave pool still Legend. Plus the lagoon is really chilled.People just be riding king island nuts because they have rollercoasters too.....but hands Down. The Beach Waterpark is better than kings island surf city. Factz

Labor Day was the perfect day to go and they honored my Groupon that excluded that holiday. I really wish there were more umbrellas by the wave pool and a cleaner Lazy River.

Took my family here today and it was awesome. My kids had a blast. The workers were nice and helpful, place wasnt too busy so we hardly waited for anything. The food was good, the park looked clean, and my kids were happy. We will definitely be coming back!

It was nice. We went today, on a nice cool Wednesday. Not busy at all. Price was great. Food was priced well. The employees were nice. The pools did have some debris but there are lots of trees for shade so its understandable the wind would blow leaves into the pool as quickly as they were cleaning them. I would give it a higher rating but they dont have any pads or tampons for women in the bathrooms.

Great staff, friendly people, and Live Reggae on Sundays keep me coming back. Season Passes are reasonably priced..and theres beer! :-)Ive been coming for years and have made several longtime Friends as a result of my visits there.Theres a kiddie section for the little ones and plenty to do for everyone else. I would definitely recommend a visit.

It was a fun place to hang out. Allot of the slides and attractions felt like theyd be amazing if I was 10. Id recommend it for kids 3-10, but if your looking for that amazing experience Id suggest Kings Island or Soak City. I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 because the staff were sooo nice.

My family and I had a great time on Friday 7-27-19! This has been an annual trip for us and we even upgraded to a season pass this year.They allow water shoes, which is awesome! Park was clean and the staff was helpful and attentive.

Loved the laid back atmosphere...not uptight like Kings Island, nor as busy. Free water-not charging outrageous prices for bottled water. Have it setting out ready for anyone that needs it. Plenty of different areas. Only thing we didnt care for was the one bathroom location. Need more. Will go back.

Definitely not what it use to be.Yes, short lines and its not crowded. However, it has became ran down. The pools arent cleaned from leaves, sand, and other debris. As a season pass holder I would expect better. Those were not cheap tickets. I understand new comers are not aloud in during weather pauses, however as a pass holder. My husband, who just gets off of work should be alound in to join his family in the cabana that we RENTED/PAID FOR.!!!

We brought our 2-year-old here and the mini water play section was truly perfect for her age. She didnt want to go home. I loved it here because it isnt as busy on a weekend.

This place is pathetic. You have to pay a lot to enter the park to find that a lot of the slides were shut down. The place is dirty. Trash cans over flowing. (life guards) on cellphones instead of watching over their areas. Top it off. They have the nerve to charge you $10 to park in an unpaved lot... Wow!!!

Water nice except for lazy river. Bucket beer worth it. Bar keep awesome. Kids (teens) loved it. Many slides not running because they are understaffed. Seen a girl dressed in pants t-shirt sweeping up stuff. She looked so unhappy to be at work. Let them dip in! It was almost 90 degrees. The water park itself is nice; the slides look fun but not really our thing. We enjoyed the wave pool and the water was perfect temp. Volleyball court was fun. Complaints would be that the park isnt very informative, not a lot of signs, directions, menus at food stands, etc. And the food/drink stands seemed very understaffed. Waited in about a 20-person line for over a half an hour because there was only one person taking orders.

No ATM on site. Bathrooms were gross. So understaffed that half the slides were closed.I bought a voucher online expecting to skip the line, nope. Had to stand in a 30 person line to go through ticket office for entry.That said, my family had fun on what was available to ride. There arent too many steps for the slides and the wait times were typically less than 10-15 minutes. The treads of the steps, however, were in heavy disrepair and will incinerate your feet if they have been in direct sunlight. We had a breezy, slightly cloudy day when we went so it was mixed bag of cool to the touch and volcanic fire.Other than general refurbishment and limited slide availability, we would still go back and do it again.

Specifically came to this park for the Rapids. This is my sons favorite ride at the park. We drove 2 hours for this only to discover it was gonna be closed the entire day. Besides that the entire place is run down. Its sad seeing a place I grew up going to every year decaying. We had funnel cakes and fries that definitely werent made to order. We also paid for the cabana along the wave pool in which the sand was littered with chunks of hard sand or rocks. Im not sure what it was but it was the equivalent of walking on a stone driveway. Only about half of the attractions were open. At least 3 water slides, Im pretty sure more, the Rapids and the lazy river. Ive came here since I was roughly 10 (Im 40 now) and this will be my last trip. Its sad to see this come to an end. I really enjoyed the park as a child. I also enjoyed the Rapids. Its been a good run but well look for another outdoor waterpark.

We used to love to come to the Beach Waterpark years ago. We brought our family today for $150 even after a groupon. Two rides were closed all day. At 3:30 5 additional rides closed down. None of the workers acted like they wanted to be there. We watched 3 lifeguards play on the phones versus watch the pools. When they moved from their phones they looked around the Waterpark versus paying attention to the swimmers. If my kids were not good swimmers, I would have feared for their safety. I could tell that the park is in need of major repair and staffing. We are very unlikely to return in the future.

We love the water park! 2 of the slides werent in operation on our visit unfortunately, but still plenty to do. Food and drinks are always delicious and reasonably priced. Never more than a 5 minute wait for any ride. The staff and lifeguards are always helpful and very nice

Im so sad that weve come here four years in a row and each time instead of improvements we continue to see a business thats declining. Still understaffed, so the slides are always closed. Concessions are terrible. Cleanliness needs to be addressed, bathrooms need serious remodel (thats one of my biggest issues). I know its a long standing business and my daughter LOVES this place so we dont want to see it go under but they need to start listening. Three years in a row her favorite slide closed...... Every time. Lets hope something changes before next season. We will try one more time and again hope for the best.

Honestly,It was just OK. My first customer service experience was awful (I called for information in regards to my online ticket purchase) they were extremely short with me and hung up. When we arrived to the park I noticed how disgusting the bathrooms were. I mean, it looks like nothing has been updated since the 90s! I felt like the lazy river was gross. No patrol or anything. I watched one of the life guards laugh as a kid threw an inter tube in my face. Half of the rides were closed down. And lastly, I felt unsafe and very nervous as I waited in line on one of the tall water slides. Seriously, this park needs a makeover. It used to be fantastic back in the day - just highly disappointed

My family came a couple days ago and we had a blast. They were understaffed but the employees were efficient and nice. The kids loved the Clift water slide and I enjoyed the heated pool. Overall we had a good experience and would recommend!

While our family has enjoyed The Beach for more than 20 years, todays visit was very disappointing. We were told they were short-staffed on lifeguards, they closed six slides by 3:30 PM, some of the lifeguards were on their phones and most were barely paying attention, the Pearl pool looks to be disintegrating, and the park is simply looking old and declining. While weve had some fun memories there, this will probably be our last visit unless we hear about some major changes.

Great time with little one and family friendly. Able to have a drink, play with the little ones in the water or go to the wave pool or slides. Need signs to describe how things work for slides.

A good low cost option to Kings Island, but it is a little run down. Not nearly as crowded as Kings Island.We go to the beach a few times each summer

Ordered our tickets online to visit the park on 8/10/19. Drove two hours to the park and used our online tickets to get in only to find out after we purchased a locker for the day that half of the park was closed due to a pump issue. Nobody said a word while walking in. Then we had to wait in a line that we bypassed to enter to try to get our money back. This place was great back in the day, but today was a train wreck

The water park is small, but it has so much charm! The rides are a blast, and the food is to die for!!

We got there about 1030 am took lest than 10 mins to check in. Waters clean, well staffed. Fun place. After 4 hrs. with our 2 grand girls 10 n 15yrs. We had enough fun.

Very enjoyable water park! Not super crowded and lines moved quickly. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. We had a cabanna rental and were not disappointed! Very friendly and accommodating staff! Clean waterpark and excellent choice of slides! We will definitely be back!

Another great day at The Beach. This is our second year in a row making a trip to visit the beach. Only one thing keeps it from a 5 experience. I called the day before driving to the area to confirm all attractions were open and was assured they were all open. When we arrived, there was a sign at the ticket booth about the Kowabunga slide down for the season. Also there was one other not operational. I dont know the name, but it was the triple slide. Staff is great and friendly.

The showers and bathroom were deplorable. Please renovate. We left the park and got a hotel room just to shower. We bought $40 in tokens and then found out that most of the games in the arcade was broken. Paying $120 for 4 people was too much. When you update the bathroom and fix the games, we might visit again. Otherwise the slides were plentiful.

Still some fun. Inexpensive compared to other parks, However this place is showing its age, and lack of repair. Some rides are never working, others sometimes are. Even the weeds are out of control!! Have fun, just dont have high hopes!

The lazy river was absolutely disgusting. Bark, pine needles, sticks, etc. floating in entire river. Does not look like it has been cleaned in ages. The baby pool area was only open for maybe an hour. There is no other calm area for small children to play at. The main kids play area is not suitable for kids under 4. The landscaping is awful. Lots of dirty areas. Had a nicely decorated Beach car out front for publicity while out driving but the park looks very run down. Shouldnt have spent money on marketing but on improving the look of the park.

Several slides were closed which I expected after reading previous reviews. A sign up front said they would rotate which ones were open but that never happened. Had fun on the ones that were open. Some staff very nice, some very unpleasant. Food/drink prices reasonable. Overall I think I would rather spend the $30 it took to get two of us in here and not have to wait in long lines than the $80 it would take to get into KI waterpark and stand in lines all day.

A park that could be really fun, but half the rides were closed this past Saturday. Customer Service made a commendable effort to make things right for future visits, but still disappointed that so many rides were closed. Otherwise, had a very nice visit.

We came with the family and rented a cabana. We had been before on a Sunday and they were slammed. It was a Thursday so they weren’t to busy and the cabana was clean. The girl who served us was very polite and made sure we got everything we needed. Food was alittle expensive but that was expected at a Waterpark. It was actually very tasty tho especially the burgers and fries. The life guards were polite and directed us around the park as needed plus, despite short staffing most of the slides were open and the lines weren’t to long. Overall a great day out but from previous experiences I would try and come on a week day as it is less crowded.

All the slides were pretty much shut down. After paying 10$ for parking and 15$ For a locker, total waste and borderline theft from this place. We only got to ride one ride due to not enough life guards and did the wave pool. How is this place still open? Poor management!!! Don’t go here for like one or two slides. You will pay 10$ for parking, money for a locker, and money for the park!!

Food and drink prices are great. The park overall could use some work. A lot of the slides are not open, but the employees are all friendly.

Only 4 rides were open with at least 4 shut down. Lazy river and warm pool were dirty and had a lot of leaves in them. Overall a pretty bad experience. I hope things can get better because Ive had better experiences in the past.

Very run down, all the decks need repaired. All the pools need resurfacing and cleaned out. Full of debris. Kid cove is a lot of fun but due to excessive debris in the pools it was hard to enjoy this place.

The kids had fun, and the pool was much needed. The park itself, and the service are severely lacking. The bathroom/changing area was disgusting. Every toilet had an issue, half the doors dont close, and someone pooped on the floor (not even kidding). I was horrified to even be walking on the floor with flip flops on. The girl at the food service window was really rude too. Extremely overpriced, and overrated. Wont be going back.

Great time at the waterpark however the petting zoo is despicable!! The alpaca was sweating so bad due to not having his fur trimmed, the water her had was full of mosquitoes, green and had algae in it. He also had a big sore on his face/neck from his halter he had on. This place should take better care of their animals. They need Animal Control called but Im not from Indiana. I have posted pictures but they dont compare to seeing it in person, very heartbreaking.

I really dont understand how this place is in business. The place was not clean, prices are outrageous and most everything was shut down. If you want to go to a water park, there are many better places in the Cincinnati area.

There was a bit of leaves and detritus in the lazy river and the lifeguards didnt seem to be bothered enough to keep the empty tubes from blocking up the path. Several of the slides seemed to need higher water pressure to keep you from stopping in the middle.The food was pretty terrible, the chicken sandwich tasted... weird, and they charged .25 for a mangled slice of tomato. The chicken tenders were very greasy.All of this being said, both my kids had a great time, especially in the kids splash area and the wave pool.My recommendation is to go after lunch and leave before dinner.

Weve been going to The Beach annually for 12 years to celebrate my husbands birthday (minus the one year they were closed). Today, I was shocked. They were severely understaffed.. so much so that nearly half the rides were closed! The lazy river did not open one time.. the thing we look forward to most! The staff they did have were overwhelmed and I overheard some minors begging for their legal-required break from other staff! We waited over an hour for food from their main concession stand, which had one cashier, one food runner, and one cook! The entire park looked especially run down and it was incredibly dirty. Beer bottles left by the sand area near the wave pool, bandaids on walkways, toliet paper strewn everywhere in the bathroom. We have come here for YEARS and this trip was enough to convince us we need to spend our money elsewhere.

We make a yearly trip because the prices use to be reasonable and my family has a good time, but it is now very run down, need new painting and upgrades, 1st stop was bathroom since driving 2 hours to get there, Never in my life have I seen a bathroom so disgusting in my life ! Towels, dirty diapers and bloody napkins all over the floor yuck. Most Stalls were out of order ( and looked like they haven’t had any attention in a while) one was a bloody mess after that I didn’t want to stay, lucky we were all already dressed I sucked it up for my kids and husband for a little since he had the day planned out for us to go even took the day off. Needless to say I had to go down the street to Panera to get me and my kids changed to go home and use the restroom for our 2 hour ride back home

Not happy about how dirty the park was! Half of the waterpark rides were shut down. The Arcade was horrible almost all of the games were out of order. They did give us rain vouchers after going back into the park twice. The vouchers are for night swim. At least thats something! The water in the lazy river was so dirty! I would not recommend it. Save your money and go down the road to Kings Island!!!

A really fun place to go. Its not the biggest or best, but its not as busy as Kings Island. The lines are short, u slide quickly, and the staff is on point. Groupon always has a deal for The Beach every year.

We were looking forward to enjoyIng a fun day at the water park, but:1. Three of the slides were closed on a Saturday.2. There was a total of maybe 20 inner tubes on the lazy river, so after waiting 40 minutes in line, we left.3. All of the lines were terribly long.4. The three-slide ride was only allowing one person to go down a time, causing even longer lines.5. Everyone’s feet were burning from standing on old wood stairs that clearly hadn’t been repaired or stained in many seasons.We left after 2 hours.With a just a little bit of effort and not much money, the owners could make that place a much more enjoyable place for everybody. By putting a little bit of repair work into the place and buying a few new tubes, the whole experience could be much better.The employees were very nice. Best part of the park.

This was a while back but I broke my wrist actually at this water park I was getting off the slide and these people were standing on the side walk blocking the way so I went the hill and I slipped and landed on my right hand it hurt so bad. So I go to the nurses shack and they say its not broken because it wasnt bruising up or purple or something like that next day go to the hospital to check it out and it was broken other then that its trashy expensive to get in and food and always lots of people. Usually one or two slides out of order.

I enjoyed the time was there except the fact that the past 5 times I have been there, they are always understaffed and rides are shut down. Not as fun and enjoyable for a family like it used to be. And the lifeguards are always snooty.

Bought tickets ahead of time, had to wait for 20 minutes in the purchase ticket line because they didnt have will call open or a scanner at the entrance. Less than half of the rides were open, and the park was severely understaffed. Perks: it was pretty dead for a Saturday so the lines for the five rides that were open were minimal.

Perhaps it was the time of year. But half the rides were closed. We were told when we got there that they switch hourly but they never did. Was really looking forward to the Lazy River but it was closed all day. Bought tickets for the zipline but it was broken down all day never back up and running. We did have a good time with what was there and the kids had fun. Would probably not go again unless I called first to make sure everything was running.

Its always fun and great deals with groupon. But some of the slides are always closed and lines for concessions are ridiculous. But all in all a good deal and fun for the family.

Some of the rides were closed and the lazy river and the wave pool were really dirty and had sand and leaves in them the water slides were great though. I would recommend going here if you are okay with a bunch of sand and leaves in the lazy river and wave pool.

Fun place. Was not crowded and we didn’t have to wait long to get on anything. The entrance and the food counter however had long lines that moved slow. They seemed a little understaffed. Both the entrance and the food counter only had 1 employee working. Took over a hour to get a drink.

We normally love this place. This year was not what we expected from our first time we were here. The last time we came here everything was open this time all our favorite slides were closed they lazy pool was super dirty. We were very disappointed this time.

Most of the rides were shut down, why accept paid tickets from patrons, when the swim park knows rides are shut down, most people left early. The common areas didnt look clean and no lazy river. I think the swim park should give me a refund for my 2 tickets for our visit on Saturday August 31st

Not enough places to sit. They allow people to drink until they get drunk. And they allow people to drink in the water around all the little kids. But overall nice place to go with the family.

It was not a good day to go when I took the kids it was cold low 60s degree but they had fun.

If you could give negative stars I would. The staff lies about being under staffed and that they will open other slides during the day. They closed the lazy river which is super popular and claimed the chemicals were not balanced yet that is filled by water from all the slides they had opened. I will never go back to the beach again. Would be worth paying more money to go somewhere else.

We almost didnt go due to so many bad reviews but Im glad we went. My kids had a good time. Two of the attractions were closed but it was still plenty to do. Some things could have been better but thats everywhere. For the saturday carload price i say its well worth it! We would definitely go again!

One gets the feeling that the Beach may be struggling to keep its doors open. Thats unfortunate too because my 3 grandkids love it there. Its cheaper than Kings Islands water park, and not nearly as crowded. But the facility seems clean and the slides are fun. Their favorite is the wave pool though. Renting one of the cabanas is great for a b-day party. Hope they figure out a way to remain open.

Went to the beach on August 4, a lot of rides was closed, only one food court opened and at least 75 people in line. Bar was staffed by one person and it took almost 2 hours in line to buy a beer. I wont waste my money again. Cross this off my list

Enjoyed the park itself. But the service at the concession stand was horrendous. It wasnt even busy it was in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon. I was told they didnt have the 2 fountain drinks of the ones I requested then watched him give the bottled version to another customer. Service was extremely slow and behind. Making my overall visit at the park frustrating and not giving me reason to want to come back.

I would of give it a lower rate if i could. It was understaffed and the staff that was there was rude. The women bathroom was very nasty. I had a birthday party there and found out my host quit during the party. I will never go there again. Not even worth the money I spent.

One of the better water-parks if you like slides and things to do. It doesnt get too crowded if you plan accordingly. There is also a wave pool if you are more into that. We always find something to do. Highly recommended for something to do in the summer.

The kids had a blast its just the right size for all ages we will come back the lines was short for all the slides now the food courts was highly priced and the lines was very long took way took long just to get drinks but over all nice place to take your family

Five of the attractions were closed (four slides and one children’s pool). Not worth the ticket price even after the slight discount you can get online or at Kroger. Also, the pools had a lot of debris and leaves. I am aware it can’t all be removed but it appeared there was little attempt to clean them prior to opening that day. We made our one and only trip-we won’t be back.

Not impressed with this park, the upkeep of it looks very poor could use a lot of work on it. Looks dirty there was trash all over, dirty water li es on the wave pool, needs a good cleaning. Also any water park i have been to i could smell the chlorine not herei cant even smell it on me so who knows how much they use if any. You got my 50 bucks this time but never again.
