Great place for watching movies and dinner afterwards.
Really nice staff but the theater needs to be updated. An isle dissecting the theater down the center is quaint for a Parisian indie cinema, not a Regal in 2020. You end up sitting off center looking at a screen that is basically the size of a microwave. $6.75 for a medium soda? I honestly would have been less shocked if the concession staff had pulled out a gun and demanded I hand over my wallet. Also while I’m at it, the seat backs only come up to the bottom of your shoulder blade, so by the time the previews are over you already have a nice knot in your back. Please use some of that soda money to update this place!
I dropped a gift card there during a movie and a few hours later we came back asking if they had found it. They gave it over! Very honest and kind group of staff.
The screen in auditorium 5 is small. No great deal on matinee tickets.
This is a solid movie theater which despite the size it has a very high quality surround sound system which is great for viewing movies like Ford v Ferrari.
Movie was great as was the staff but the seats are horrible. Very narrow and uncomfortable
Saw call of the wild. Great movie
Smaller movie theater(s) located in the Mashpee Commons. Some theater rooms are better than others when it comes to sound quality. If you arent looking for a further drive to say Hyannis, this movie theater will do. Ive never had bad service or a dirty theater. Fandango has always been accurate with movie times/etc. I think first showing during the week is around 3PM, ie they dont have showings from 11AM during the week usually. All in all, a above average theater that can be convenient if youre in Mashpee. Would go again.
Great theater. Ground level entrance makes for easy access for wheelchairs. Reasonable prices for tickets. Parking is a bit confusing for first time visitors, its best to park behind the theater and restaurants, and walk through the ally way. Air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter, just right. Staff are usually friendly and helpful.
Help was courteous and efficient. Saw spider man family behind us had small child who talked a lot and they talked back.Sound system wasnt terrific.
Good popcorn . Smaller sizes theatres
Place could use a good cleaning. Also, information on website turned out to be wrong. Wasted trip with children. Parking good.
Great experience. Scary Stories to tell in the dark was great. Reccomend!!
The Bad Boys for life was all that and more I was entertain from beginning to end well done go see it laughs and more laughs.
Uncomfortable seats and too much sound coming from the movie next door. Theater needs to be updated.
This theater is pretty cool i guess, i sneek i’m to pg 13 movies all day and i don’t even get kicked out!!! #badboylife
The staff was extremely nice. But hearing the constant buzz and bang of construction during my movie was not so nice.
Nice facility. First run movies. Neat little ticket and dinner package with our favorite Mashpee Italian restaurant Siena right next door.
Their customer service is totally fine, and their prices are reasonable. But the theaters are so small it makes every movie watching experience underwhelming. And honestly the screen size though small, wouldnt be 2 stars levels of bad if Hyannis theater wasnt so close and so much bigger. So I suggest going to regal in Hyannis, they have a significantly larger theater, the whole mall and Chick-fil-A. This being said, if you dont mind watching on a really small screen everything else is perfect.
Quiet,.comfortable and close to home
The customer service was excellent! A great oasis, for family fun, in the summer heat.
Very pleasant, helpful staff. Clean theater.
We only go here when we have to. The theater isnt great and it is way over-priced.4 people, with the combo of a drink, popcorn and candy snack pack is over $120.The staff arent friendly or rude. They are just there. They dont greet you, but they say enjoy your movie. They arent fast, but they arent slow.In all fairness, they do the bear minimum of their job requirements.
It was great. Good service. Amazing movies
A great theater very accessible for those I wheelchairs. the theater is like an old home town theater. Its very great
Nice multiplex theater.Very well maintainedCounter staff very friendly
It was small and rather nice. Kinda drab in the theater- but it served its purpose. Even has two spots specifically for wheelchairs to be.
Reasonable prices, snacks high
So clean nice kids behind the snack bar. Theater was also clean.
This theater has a cozy feel, the service was quick, the bathrooms were clean, and the overall experience was good. The seats and cup holders were also clean. Staff didnt shine their flashlights on movie goers like in other cinemas. Id definitely go there again.
The theater was clean. Ticket prices and concessions were similarly priced as any other theater $$. Tickets were sold at the concession stand, which made for long lines. When I came out to refill my soda, I missed 2 - 3 minutes of the movie looking for an employee. I havent made up my mind about this theater yet, but with 5 theaters within 30 minutes of my house, I may choose another one if my concerns continue.
Great Cinema especially for the matinee shows, it is relatively small compared to the other Mega theaters but if you are from Cape Cod you really appreciate that small-town feel the staff is very polite and the prices are very reasonable will continue coming here for a long time
An ok “typical” theater- everything you need is there. Handicap bathroom but is smaller side. They dont allow young adults with mild disabilities ( a young adults dream was to work in a theater) to work there because they said they dont make enough money to train them extra. I will never go again.
Cool theater!
Great cinema to watch movies with friends or family.
Great family atmosphere
This theater is a terrific bargain. Depending on what movie youre watching, you only pay for one ... but get to hear two... or even three if youre really lucky! Most of the screens have a seam right down the middle -- highly visible in bright scenes. The popcorn is usually room temperature and chewy. So a little goes a long long way.The staff are frequently poorly trained. I recently presented my Regal card at the ticket booth where the grump guy told me that I had earned a free popcorn. I went to the snack bar and they didnt have a clue. They got the manager to help but she was clueless as well. I ended up paying for the small popcorn... something like $4.95 !!!! as I felt badly for the young girl who had but some extra artificial imitation butter-like (not) oil on the popcorn. The other thing I like about this theater is they know how hectic our lives can be. So if youre running late... never worry!! Theres at LEAST 20 minutes of advertising BEFORE the coming attractions roll. 7 pm show and its 720? No worries... youll be right on time!
We liked how clean it was but the screens were so small. It was more like a home theater to us
I saw my last movie at this theater last night (1/11/18). We were in Theater 3 for DARKEST HOUR. At several critical points in what should have been a marvelous film --scenes with tense silence -- we can hear the soundtrack from theater 2 for Paddington 2 come flying in plain as day. Not like a TV in the next room... but right there. COMPLETELY spoiled the effect. There may have been additional sounds from theater 4 -- or across the hall -- anythings possible in this facility.I went to the lobby at one of these moments, in part hoping to speak with someone, and maybe some popcorn. At 8 pm the lobby was totally deserted, the snack bar darkened and closed up like it was an off season beach resort. If anyone reads these I hope you are paying attention. Wed like our money back. And some popcorn.
Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable.
I love this theater. It may have a few things wrong with it that some big time movie theater critics(not really) may care about but if you are looking for a place with cheap snacks and affordable rates, then make your trip to the commons for the regal cinemas experience. My only problem with the theater is that they do not carry certain movies for some reason. I remember that they didnt have the horror movie Deliver us from Evil nor do they have Kevin Hearts What Now? That is the only thing that bugs me.
This place is literally horrible! Me and my friend who are 16 years old tried to buy tickets to an R rated movie, and they rudely demanded an ID even though we had a parent standing right there granting us permission to see this movie. So we got tickets to another movie and snuck in to see the R rated one. 20 minutes into the movie they SHUT OFF THE MOVIE! The whole theater went dead silent and the lights turned on just because they wanted us to leave and didnt have the guts to tell us! Literally Ive never been to a theater where the movie was shut off. Plus the popcorn sucks and tastes like cardboard.
Tyler was friendly, efficient, and fun
Very nice for the first time we asked by pass3rs wherr to park and well they said accross the way so u have to walk passed Siennas Restaraunt the entrance is hidden but u can see it manager was really nice he helped and was very profesional and the workers very nice smiling and very proefesional thank you for treating us nice i like that so for the movies it was very nice too seats ground floor comftorable
A cute theater that thrives on location and gimmick more than anything else. Dated chairs and a limited schedule for films means youll likely be using this as part of an overall visit to the Commons and not a destination location on its own.
I love this place. Its clean, neat, comfortable, and the staff are awesome!
Small but comfortable theater movie pass is accepted! Typical pricey concession stand!
Do you guys accept mashpee common gift cards?
A good location for the theater, lots of restaurants and parking.
Theater was clean and comfortable . Staff was helpful and courteous
Letting under age kids see a r rated movie that is why to harsh for them to see. If your under 18 or a bad parent and want to see a r rated movie this is the place to go.
5 people watching a movie at 3 P.M.
My favorite.
Just an average movie theater.
This is by far the worst modern theater I know of. Why would anyone in the 21st century build a theater with the walkway in the MIDDLE of the theater. All the best seats are non-existent in favor of the walkway. The seats are all the worst seats possible.
Everything you need is here
We tried to get in the Sunday before labor day, but lock there doors just 10 minutes after the last advertised feature time(7:20), usually they show 30 minutes of commercials before the movie so we usually plan to be there 10 to 15 passed the advertised show time. 2 other families knocked outside but they didnt even look in our direction, I guess they dont need our money. That was about 14 tickets waiting out. Bad business.
Need to update the interior seats - other than that a really nice little theater - good staff - pretty clean - it was quite which is amazing
Relaxed way to see feature films. No crowds and Mashpee Village is high end and interesting.
I really havent had a problem with them and Ive been to this movie theatre tons of time, so I dont know what the other reviews are talking about because the snack selection is fine and the seats dont have any problems. I mean I go there to hang out with friends a lot and never once had a problem
Nice establishment to catch a quick flik. Especially if on vacation.
Seating could be improved, but a little cheaper than other theaters in the area
Didnt display ticket prices
This is one of the worst theaters on Cape Cod and close to the worst theater Ive been to in over 25 years. Poor snack selection followed by even worse seats. You are better off going 10 minutes down the road to Heritage theater in sandwich. If you’re in Falmouth you can go to the cinema pub or Cape Cod mall in Hyannis. Any of those three would be better than the Regal cinemas in Mashpee.
Classic movie theater - a town favorite.
Over priced same old same old...no theater seating. Go to Off Cape Regals if you must
Commercials take 30 min
Highly Recommended. Best theater on Cape Cod.
Good place
The Manager who works there is really rude. I would suggest going to Sandwich movie theater.
The technology and seating setup are antiquated at this theater. I would recommend going to the cape cod mall theater instead.
I like Regal cinemas Mashpee Commons
HERITAGE IN SANDWICH IS WAY BETTER
THIS MOVIE THEATER SUCKS!!!!!!! THEY ACUSED US OF GOING TO THE WRONG MOVIE AND KICKED OUT
Ok so the power went out at the last half hour of Star Wars tonight and they wouldnt rewind it once the power came back or compensate anyone anything! Worst movie theater ever!
Theater is small and sometimes you hear the sound from other movies playing through the wall. Staff is very friendly!
CleanNicePopcorn was tasty
Very clean, friendly staff. Screens are on the small side and popcorn is very expensive but aside from that its pretty nice theater.
Cost 2.5 million between tickets popcorn ect... at least we found a bush to bang!
Strangely the aisle goes right down the center so no one has a center seat.
Below average
Good service, clean facility
Great movie house!!!!
Needs to be updated.
Nice enough theater in a convenient location
Uncomfortable seating
Small screens in general
Nice
Dirty
Small, friendly, and good choice of movies
Needs a total rehab.
Only 14 minutes to the Heritage Theater
Wonderful place
I would like to single out The manager possible George for being a bad person and not letting teenagers live a little
Best theater ever
Good for a regal.
Snack, EXPENSIVE!
Wonderful seating
They treat there employees badly, worse place. Go to sandwich or cape cod mall instead.....
Female manager is a hard a**.; rude and disrespectful and trying to wield her power over teens and adults alike.
