Sandy Springs Park

Very nice park. Great place to take the family. However it was quite crowded whenever I was there and if it had more space then it would be pretty much perfect.

Nice trails along the creek. Playground with picnic areas and grills. Sports complex is nice but parking is limited during events.

Nice park, but too many dogs (even though they were all leashed), some barking at others and becoming frisky! Nice picnicking benches/tables and well shaded. It is nice to see families out and about, though there was very little social distancing (except for families sitting at pick nick tables). Many people, the parking lot was full!

Love this park. Located on the greenway for walking, it is perfect for a day out with the family. Three separate playground areas make it perfect for little ones.

Beautiful park with a pavillon you can rent out for birthday parties, family reunions, etc. 2 playgrounds, ball fields, and gorgeous paved walking paths that meander through the woods and connect to the greenway in downtown Maryville. Highly recommended!

I love the place nice to hang out and chill love to have family get togethers just wish they had their basketball hoop back up my brothers need something to do and thats all they did before Corona virus now they just sit and play video games

This park is great! They have a great picnic tables and great fields for sports. They have great playgrounds for all ages and they have a basketball quart. There are nice walking paths and great trees to hang out under. I love to come walking here and recommend this park for everyone to come and check out.

I grew up going to Sandy Springs, I took my children and now Im taking my grandchildren. We love this park.

One of our Beautifulest Parks We have here in Maryville . Cought My very first fish in Pistol Creek 64 years ago When the Park was BY the Court House . I have got to see Gods Beautiful Creations Living Here in our Awesome Little Town .

It is so nice here! There are multiple playgrounds here, each different to accommodate different ages. There is also a pavilion (with bathrooms) where you could have a party or get together. There is a path that goes through/around the park, just in case you want to get some exercise in. On one of the playgrounds there is a swing set with a swing made specifically for special needs children. It is a beautiful park to go to!

Playgrounds are still closed but bathrooms where open. Very nice walk, and has been kept clean through out all of this...

This park is great! It is kept clean and neat. Has baseball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, tennis courts and a greenway to run or bike on. The trees and creek are an added bonus!

Site of the Smoky Mountain Classic Major Softball Tournament.

Its the best place to walk. The kids have 3 places to play while you sit under a shade tree. You can also have a great picnic as well.

Really nice field. We had our softball practice and the field was well maintained. Restrooms are close, plenty of trashcans, dugouts in good shape. Its a little long for a softball field but even the warning track next to the fence was in great shape. If you are worried about going to the park later in the day I noticed the police patrolled very often so that should put you at ease.

Been to parks all around the country and d eff definently a better park to go to very beautiful walks around the parkway and extremely clean park thank you parks and rec for the clean environment for the kids but if u want pavilion for parties definently order in advance

Love to take my dog here for a walk. Occassionally have to worry about other dogs being off leash but other than that it is great.

I love this park. It would be fantastic if people wouldnt litter. It would also be nice if they wouldnt smoke. I believe the park has posted no smoking signs. Its pretty gross having your child slide into cigarette butts or land on them

This is a really nice park. Great walking trails. We celebrated Easter here with my family. Though they have picnic tables there is one that is covered.

I come here pretty often to play Pokemon Go. Its a great place to walk or jog. Staff really takes good care of the park. Park itself is pretty large too - you could spend a few hours there if you wanted. If you play Pokemon Go, this is the place to be. Lots of gyms and pokestops. You can get a lot of gameplay done here.

Nice playground by a stream.A few different playgrounds to choose from based off age of child.We practiced tee-ball here as well. The bathrooms are a little rough, and the womens is positioned behind the building. Farthest from the play grounds which stinks.But is a good park.

Love Sandy Springs Park. I have had all my childrens birthday parties there. The most recent one being this past August for my little girls 4th bday party. Its always clean and having different levels of playground equipment for all ages is a bonus. We also love walking the trails looking for painted rocks and the basketball goals for my older kids.

Im thankful for our local parks! Sandy Springs has a lot to offer: walking trails, multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, a pavilion with bathrooms, a baseball field and basketball courts. Plenty of parking.

Sandy Springs Park is a well established park for people of all ages and interests. From its well maintained walking path that includes points of interest to its softball fields to its picnic area and finally its play ground near the restroom facility; this is a place with something for everyone. My only comment would be that the park could use another play ground at the other end. Otherwise its a fantastic place for the whole family.

Has many playgrounds for different aged kids, decent sized walkways, basketball courts, baseball fields, and many other things to do. Has restrooms, water fountains, benches, and shade. The park also connects to trails that go for miles so its good for biking, walking, and other things like it. Easily one of the nicest parks Ive been to.

Great park ! We are visiting from Cincinnati for a little over a monthI wanted a nice safe park to take my 4 year old to. This definitely exceeded our expectations. Lots of play equipment and friendly people.

A great place to sit and enjoy yourself. It is exceptionally beautiful in the spring and summer. This park is one of the connections within the Maryville/Alcoa Greenway so its a nice spot to relax after a good jog.

This park has 3 different areas with okay equipment, and even a certain set of equipment for the younger children. I really appreciated that because the older children have their own play area without accidentally running over the smaller children. I wish there were more paths from the equipment to the other equipment areas and the swings. The presence of local police was apparent and we really appreciated that.
