Mr Gattis Pizza

I ordered a delivery online at 5:56 pm for 1 pizza.I got a call at 7:16 asking when I would pick up my pizza. I said Well I ordered delivery....They said well you need to pick it up or wait 30 more minutes for their delivery guy to show up.....So I went and picked it up. The receipt said delivery.....but someone crossed it out and wrote pick up???? It was cold.....I asked for a discount....the manager said no since I already paid online......Great customer service. Thanks!!

Great place! Stopped on way home from vacation. 8 people. Something for everyone. Food was fresh and very clean and appealing. Dining area is spacious and emoyees were very friendly! Locals are lucky to have this restaurant!

Pizza was very good but starting to get a bit pricey on the buffet. Nice and clean all the time.

This was my first time eating pizza from here. I had one pizza with pepperoni/sausage and another with cheese only. They were both hot and very good. Their food bar was open and they dished your food. Looked good with all the different pizzas to choose from along with spaghetti.

They made me a awesome low carb crustless pizza! Ive lost over 200lbs so this helpef alot

I had a birthday party here for my kid but never again its not kid friendly and this place is very unorganized terrible place for birthday parties.....

COVID-19 has really had a negative affect here. The pizza is really good; but, the buffet is really lacking any real selection. The staff were really friendly.Not the place it once was. Hopefully things turn around soon so Mr. Gattis can get back to its former glory.Still giving four stars as the food is still really good and the service was good.

This place is a local favorite, probably because of decent food and the salad bar and buffet (primarily pizza). I think they still serve beer as well.

The pizza was ok. The Mac n cheese was awesome. The customer service was great! Prices were great. Ill be going back for sure.

The food was edible, not great. On this day we paid for the buffet which remained mostly empty. I seen on lady on staff look like she has trying to keep it all up (kudos to her) sadly, when she tried to rally one of the other staff it appeared the fella was put put by the fact she thought he should be working. Ive been there, short staffed on a busy day. My suggestion would he let in coming customer know you are short staffed and running behind. Then they can choose to stay if they have the time go wait.

They have good pizza and breadsticks. And an array of spaghetti and salad stuff plus toppings galore. This is good family based establishment. Thank you for making pizzas and good food for everyone to enjoy.

Mr. Gattis has a family atmosphere to it. Just a nice little buffet to sit down and chat with your family at. Always nicely stocked and fresh salad bar, everyone that works there is always friendly and helpful. Dessert pizzas, different toppings on different pizzas, different crusts. Cheese sticks, mac and cheese, spaghetti. They have a section in the back where you can either sit and look out the windows or you can play some of the games they have. Theyve got restrooms for public use and ample seating. Theres a TV in the main seating area and in the reserved seating area. Just a nice little place to go and sit down to dinner any day of the week.

I absolutely love eating at Mr. Gattis Pizza! The pizza is fabulous, its a pizza bar, many choices, although my favorite is the BBQ chicken. They also make dessert pizza, oh my goodness, so delicious! My favorite is a tie between the Bavarian and smores. Cant get enough. Their customer service is tops, they will even make you a pizza on request, if its not out there. I recommend this little gem to anyone!!!

Literally the best pizza Ive ever had. Two nearer to me have closed in the last 25 years. 90 minute drive for me one way and still worth it. The take and bake option is a boon as well. Facility is clean, good service, good prices.

Hot fresh buffet. My fave is the chicken BBQ pizza. Also deserts pizzas! Reasonably priced. Good customer service

1st time trying, not a fan. Large was 8 small slices. Waited about 40 mins for our order. Found out they put it in with the to go orders. Waitress was very friendly.

Not as good as I remember when I was a kid but it brought back some good old memories.

The pizzas were adequate, price was great. The service staff friendly and efficient. Will go again next time Im in Martinsville.

Best pizza buffet in town. Dessert pizza is on point. They will make any kind you ask for as well. Love going here.

Amazing service and food!

I am posting this from my friends email, however I’d like to state that I worked here for a month or so. How any one could stay any longer is beyond me. I’ve dealt with a severe lack of training ( the only “training” I received was my first day for 15 minutes by someone that had only been there two or three shifts before my first shift) the rest of the time I was left in the dark. Child labor laws were broken, verbal abuse was occurring and it was all apparently my fault despite I was trying as hard as I could to learn everything by myself. Despite my previous experience on register at Dairy Queen I was not prepared for this. It’s hardly “kid friendly” the fact that we usually only hire young females is sketchy. The environment for work is horrible in general it’s a terrible place to be employed. I will be contacting corporate to possible take farther action. I should’ve been trained properly I shouldn’t be blamed for everything that my managers and owner of the business failed to do. I don’t suggest ever working here. If you do good luck. I’m part of the reason they’re looking for a new evening cashier. Don’t fall for it, don’t take the job unless you absolutely have to and boy do I hope they pick up their game after my departure.I just wanted everyone to know that I absolultely loved my customers, the family I got most attached to came in fairly often. No ice in their drinks besides one. Depending on if that person was with them. If I cared for you guys at any point as a cashier at this place I wanted to thank my customers you all were so sweet.

It has a pizza bar & a salad bar. Not a lot of different choices on the salad bar, needs some red & orange peppers. The pizza smelled good but I didnt have any of that.

Nice people, good food, not expensive at all. I really enjoyed having lunch here today and will definitely be back!!

Everything is perfect: the sauce, the fresh mozzarella, the crust. I cant wait to get back here again soon.

The salad was really fresh plenty of toppings. Fresh pizzas. The dining room was clean. A worker kept the dishes cleaned ans she kept drinks full. My daughter felt another employee hovered at the buffet. That and the macaroni and cheese was the only negatives but nothing big. Will be back even in town.

Salad bar was great, but the hot bar was old with no pizza variety. The spaghetti was old and parts of it were hard. The sauce was so old it was thick and crusty.

Not happy with this visit at all. We visit this Gattis about once a month and this time the pizza was hard and the cinnamon rolls would break your teeth. There was a party of 25 that came in however on a Saturday night they should have been way more prepared than that. Not much pizza to choose from that was ready and they were always out of plates. Not happy at all with this visit. Step it up guys Ive seen you do way better.

Its a place to eat when you are hungry but thats about it. The food seems like it is the same from way back in the 90s and may actually be stock from that era. Typical, small town dinning establishment. Ehhh, go someplace else.

I have always loved eating Gattis pizza and buffet is great. I am using the online app for first time and uncertain why I must leave tip on the app if its carry out.

Although there were only two people working (one was the delivery driver!) the restaurant was very clean. The gentleman working was able to prepare all of the specialty pizzas our group requested in a reasonable amount of time. We only had to wait for the breadsticks. As we were finishing our meals, the dinner crowd started to trickle in. I believe those two employees REALLY deserve a raise!!!

This place is amazing. The hot buffet was fully stocked with pizza, pasta, and soup. The cold bar was stocked with salad ingredients, pudding, and side dishes. The employees were friendly and very helpful.

Decent, I personally think CiCis is better but I dont believe there is one down there. Good for there not being another pizza buffet besides pizza hut.

Great buffet, pizza is always fresh and they will make any kind of pizza you request. Staff is courteous and prompt. Salad bar is well stocked and maintained. They homemade spaghetti sauce is great, and the cinnamon rolls on the buffet make a great dessert to end the meal.

This pizza is the sht. Seriously, if you dont like Gattis pizza I can only imagine you hate things like bacon, America, John Wayne, George Strait. Ill go on a week night and just dominate the buffet. My son is 2 and 1/2 years old EATS FREE. He eats like a whole pizza! They dont care because hes cute as hell and all but I still high five him on the way out the door!

Gattis is a staple of Martinsville and has been for quite a while. Buffet all day, everyday. Great place to take the whole family. Nice video game room for the kids to play. The salad bar is great too. The staff is very friendly and everyone appreciates their service.

Gave a 3 star because we called around 3 oclock and asked if they still have Broccoli Soup and was told yes, so the family meet there from Spencer, Bedford, and Indianapolis and was told havent had soup in days.

Staff seemed like they were all in bad moods, food was not tasty. The only thing that was good was the salad bar.
