Forest Park Country Club

Greens are in the best shape in many years & fairways are awesome. Member rates are low and the people there are friendly and accommodating. Restaurant serves excellent food and the beer is cold!!

I was impressed by my accuracy on this absolutely gorgeous golf course, the terrain was a little difficult with the steep hills and valleys.. ending with socializing on the patio at a distance of course with beer and wine it was wonderful with the southern hospitality and the stories that were told. One thing I must add there were about six to eight individuals fishing in a pond on the front nine not sure what hole it was I thought that was a bit odd. And the sound of the cicadas in the distance luckily its only every 13 years what a year 2020 is becoming.. Im not watching news or breaking stories for a few more days just more golf and relaxation and let the craziness evolve into your social media postings, likes, shares and stress like matters...

Very nice fairways and greens. They have benches you can sit on when you are waiting for your turn. They have a wonderful restaurant. A pool when you join the club. I was impressed. Everyone should bring their clubs and then enjoy a great meal. I definitely recommend Forest Park.

Met the most wonderful guys in the club house today. What a breath of fresh air instead of dealing with the typical snotty country club want to be types. Conditions are pretty good even with the recent rain and falling leaves. Thumbs up from the traveling golfer, definitely be back next time I travel the Martinsville area!

Beautiful Clubhouse that is rented for special events, where you can easily accommodate 250 guests. They have a separate area where you can put buffet tables or add tables to seat guests. Even though they do not have a kitchen, they have a small space where you can set up the waiters station or the catering people can set their service. On that same floor they have a regular sized room with a restroom that can be very useful. On the first level there is another big room that can be set as a playroom area for the kids, with the proper adult supervision.Mary, the lady in charge, is a really nice person that can help you out with anything and help you have a wonderful event!

Great place to play golf. Great layout, friendly staff and great food especially the hotdogs.

Back nine was closed that was a bummer but over all nice place good people

Hadnt been there in a while but its getting better greens are looking good

Had lunch - a large grilled chicken wrap and fries - very tasty. Pool didnt appear overly crowded although it may be busy for the 4th pool party tomorrow. The interior bar/club and large banquet room were nice and clean but could use some decorating, as in more wall art and some real or even artificial ficus or other trees or plants. Waitperson was attentive and personable.

Nice people. Good rates. Challenging coarse. Would love to see bunker work eventually.

Great place with great people. Dont judge the greens. They will be amazing now that they have found out the problem. They will be amazing by next year or before, thanks to the people the who hasnt gave up on such a great place!

Accommodated a very large group easily. Plenty of parking. No hassles.

Course is coming along nicely enjoyed playing there!

Former PGA golf course. One of the hardest courses in the area. They have a diving pool, pro shop, and a beautiful spacious club house.

Great staff. The ONLY drawback was that there was no A/C. Broken. They did have a high velocity fan moving air.

I grew up at fpcc . I learned to play golf, tennis and swim there. You can go out there and meet family and friends for a great time.

The course is in really bad condition they say they had a bad wind storm and it knocked down alot of and the greens are in bad shape but if you want to challenge yourself go play it atleast once before it gets back in shape. I played it and still shot a 78. But for 15 dollars its not bad!
