Course is in absolute embarrassing condition. Avoid at all costs. We had a 4some booked yesterday. Looking forward to the round of golf all week with some friends. Perfect day to play and we show up to this? $74 to play greens that were literally un-playable. Course completely ruined the day for us. We had to stop playing our own ball and just scramble because the conditions were that bad. We’ve played at other south jersey courses for half the price with 20x better conditions. They should be ashamed of themselves for trying to charge that price with no warning or explanation. We will not be back.

Another one of Burlington County‘s golf courses that needs a lot of work. The course is a good layout, not a lot of hills, but the Greens, tees and fairways are in terrible condition. Course has an huge infestation of crab grass. If you like playing golf in dirt, then this is your golf course. Not talking about the bunkers, the fairways and the roughs are mostly dirt with no signs of grass life. For the amount of money you pay to golf here, the fairways need way better landscaping and treatment.

A beautiful, fun and somewhat challenging course with trees galore. The Pine Barrens are gorgeous this time of year and the narrow fairways with very little forgiveness on either side make for an interesting tee shot on every hole. The price is right for this course at around $50 and I will return to lose some more balls in the trees.

The layout of this course is great. Unfortunately the tee boxes and greens are in poor condition. For the cost per round, i expected the course to be in great shape. I have played at other courses in the area for less and in much better condition.

I like to try different courses out and like to stay optimistic. Given the fact that revenue for courses has been minimal due to COVID-19, I can understand raising prices a little, but $70 to play this track was absurd. The tee boxes were half grass half dirt, fairways were decent but had a ton of areas that looked like your grandfather trying to hold on to the tiny bit of hair he has left. Then the greens were just as horrendous. The course looks like it has been neglected for a while with a lot of infestation from tee to green. The restroom facilities was the finest of quality in the form of a small porta-john in the immaculate condition you find in the parking lot of a college football game. There are better condition courses for half the price in this area.

It was ok. A little bare in some places but nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews that have been posted. It could use a little TLC but it was a nice layout.

My home backs up to the 16th tee. The nuisance and significant safety risk cause by inexperienced or amateur golfers hitting stray shots in my yard has hit an all time high. I have 4 kids who are in danger daily and management of the course was unwilling to make a slight accommodation that would allow all patrons to enjoy golfing, but at a safe distance. Please choose a different course unless you are an experienced golfer.

They tore down clubhouse and now pro shop set up In a trailer hoping they improve conditions not liking the rates think should be less for course condition and lack of amenities. Only improvements I saw were new tee markers amd new bridge on one hole better courses for less money around. Good thing is never crowded. Going up to 4 stars as I now see improvements on course still think overpriced though

Course was in fair shape and usually fun for the exception this time we had to compete with one of the grass cutters who followed us from hole to hole for 5 holes. At times we were competing against him to find our ball before he ran it over. We waited for him to get ahead of us only to find him sitting idle on the side of the next fairway until we arrived, then it would start again. Considering the condition of the course and the inconsiderate grass cutter, it isnt worth the inexpensive price.

I like it because its cheap and for the money is really a good valueOnly interaction with staff was checking in, loved it, no attitude to deal with just a pleasant checking in. What a pleasant surprise. Its actually not a links style course at all - contrary to its name. It has lots of trees and very scenic. Its well maintained and fun to play. The driving range could use some work though but overall its a course worth playing.

Review №41

Clubhouse and course are going under renovation and once this is complete, this is going to be a premier golf course! I just hope the cost wont sky rocket! This is not an easy course. Dont let the wide fairways fool you, the woods come into play on many holes. The greens roll fairly well and are mostly of a decent size. Stay in the middle of the fairway and you be in good shape to attack the well guarded bunker protected greens. I think it to be a challenging course for everyone!

Great, great value. But its almost 80% that youre going to run into into a foursome that was seemingly randomly plopped into your round because theyre in the league. Happened two out of two times now. On 11 and 13. Huge momentum killer and big turn off, Im going to give this course one last shot.

The course was well maintained and I found it to be challenging enough (I am a high handicap). The staff was friendly. The only thing I can say bad is it seemed overbooked. If you like a fast pace you might not want to go here on a beautiful Saturday. We had some long waits especially on hole 8 which requires players to travel a long distance around the water on a short par 3. Overall an enjoyable day and I would play again.

The Links Golf Club is an absolute gem. The course is very scenic, secluded and meanders through the edge of the Pine Barrens in Marlton NJ. The course is well maintained and conditions are very good. The holes are dictated by the land, none of the holes feel artificial. Very playable course with 4 different tee boxes. Some holes are narrow and tree lined, while others are open and tree lined with thinned out underbrush allowing you to scramble back into play. I love the different angles that one is forced to play on many severe doglegs. I never get sick of playing this course, encounter new experiences every time I play (have played course 4 times in last 8 months. The clubhouse is nice, could use some remodeling in the bar/restaurant. Pro shop is stocked well. The course is now semi-private, allowing the public tee times, which is long over due. New club associate memberships are available, very affordable with reduced public play rates while providing full club access. I will definitely be taking up an associate membership ASAP.

This was once a nice place. I hadnt been here in a couple of years and I was blown away how bad its become. Multiple tees are mostly dirt. The greens have LOTS of bad areas. It hasnt rained in at least a week and the bunkers still had not been spun. The place had the feel of an abandoned golf course. The pro shop has nothing in it. The one positive was the bar and banquet room was nice for the outing I was in. I try not to be too critical of a course cause I know how hard it is to maintain properly and one visit is just a snapshot and might not be indicative of how the course usually is, but it just looks like they have run out of money. Augusta nationals super couldnt do anything without money either. And I saw in the pro shop they charge 50 bucks on a weekday!!

Lived in the area for a long time and didnt even know that this place existed. Apparently, it used to be a private course but switch to public a few years ago. I was going to book online but saw that none of the tee times had been taken. This is rare to see since all of the other courses in the area were fully booked. So I called to Pro Shop and the guy said that I didnt need a tee time because it doesnt get very busy late afternoon. That didnt sound promising as, if it were any good, it should be busier. After reading some negative reviews, we almost decided not to play there. But the only way to know for sure is to give it a try. So glad we did. The course was in much better condition that expected. Its a challenging course where shot placement is more important than length. Greens are small, undulating and well guarded. All fairways are lined with trees and there are some water hazards. Very interesting course thats not a grip it and rip it. You will use every club in the bag. Many holes are dog-legged that will challenge every area of your game regardless of handicap. The staff were all pleasant and made us feel very welcome. Well definitely return soon to this hidden gem.

Terribly managed golf course. We arrived at 6:30 AM for our 7am tee time. No staff were present at the course. They were closed. We proceeded to tee off at our correct time on our own. They did not honor our Groupon correctly and they stated it was not suppose to be posted. The course was in terrible condition with multiple tee boxes composed of dirt. Cart paths were nonexistent for most holes. Never returning again!
