Nice place to watch movies. Their pass gives awesome deals for movies. Always have wide collection of movies playing. The auditoriums are not so great but decent. Sound is good.
It felt as if I were dreaming, sitting there in the parking lot, expecting inevitable turmoil. The wind blew, the sky was blue. I heard the sound of flags fluttering in the distance, although I could not see them. The car began to shake in the wind so I decided to rest my head, waiting, and waiting. What was next I did not know, but I do know now.
Amazing sound clarify with great display. Lots of options to watch at any time of the day. Not much crowded too, giving an aura of exclusively. The popcorn here is one of the best there is. Huge parking space is available in case you get here by your own vehicle. Membership card is useful if you are going to lots of movies. Overall its a great experience.
This movie theater needs to find a better solution than just having the concessions do everything. They need more automated ticket stands to better handle the situation they created. I have a few different ideas that could make the experience faster and better. This is really poor execution. Waited in line for Almost 30 minutes and the cashiers are rushed and not listening said 3 times large popcorn and large drink.
Went there last weekend. The theaters and whole place need to be updated. And need to be thoroughly cleaned. Especially the rugs. Its really smelling like old soda and popcorn. There was popcorn all over the floors in and out of the theatre we were in. And in the bathroom were leaky toilets. No money is being re-invested back into cleaning, maintenance, and updates. And you pay top dollar of the theaters that are. If you ask me I wont be returning anytime soon.
Handicapped accessibility is what my reviews are about, and I wasnt impressed one bit.! keep seeing here that you are responding to reviews which is nice, but what say you add some darn employees so that your moviegoers feel like they arent in some sort of sci fi film???(Before I go further though, the employees were wonderful.given the fact they have to be guides, attendance, and sell food at the same time, all that I met were very very accommodating.)Ill tell you why, you dont want to have to pay them!!dont you care about your elderly, mobility-impaired, handicapped viewers? The handicapped parking is there, but one must traverse a curb to get to the front door of the theater, and theres only about 10 spaces for the entire 15 odd theaters!!!!This is a huge area of space, ( unused, WHY NOT ADD HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE RAILS INSIDE OR OUT??? NOT ONE!!! )Just to get to the front counter of the concession stand from the front door is an incredibly long walk. There are no attendants at all to help handicapped moviegoers, nobody standing around to see if you need help at all, there was one kid sitting at a tiny little table stand checking tickets.(I slipped by him five times he never even saw me, one could easily get in without paying)NO EMPLOYEES at all to be seen other than selling overpriced food!!!( Popcorn is horrible)!!!.. theater itself was pretty well lit, (one rather feels like one is an airplane on a landing strip, but still lit.)..the seats are comfortable but not what they should be considering the price of tickets and food.( I see here that you whacked me with a dollar 50 fee for tickets online? But it saves you money, not me if I order tickets online!! Get RID of it!)(and dont even get me started on how complicated that is, unless you are some sort of computer whiz). I chose to call the actual customer service phone number and have the rude customer service man condescend me through the process.(I had them on speakerphone and three of my family members listening said to me thats a customer service person?)
Great place for I r shopping
It had been a while since visiting Regal. They have implemented some terrible changes. For one, you have to buy tickets at concessions, an obvious ploy to get you to buy food. The result is that you have to wait forever to buy tickets even in you dont want food. Food sales take much longer than ticket sales. Second it is all reserved seating. The result is that after waiting all that time for your tickets you find that your show has no seats a half hour before the show starts for a show that has been out for weeks. The ticket process is ridiculous. In an age where I only have to wait a month or two to rent the movie for a fraction of the price, why are they making it so much harder? We left and spent our money elsewhere.
They have all the movies you can want and now they are rolling out a cool unlimited movie program. However the prices for a movie are pretty expensive and the seats are old. When you pay for and select your seat you expect one of those fancy recliners at least leather seat. The seats are cloth, smelly and not very comfortable.
The theater is very nice. The only reason I didnt give it five stars was because, for some showings, the ticket booth isnt open and I had to wait a long time in the concession line to buy one. And buying online ahead of time has an insane $1.50 per ticket fee. Regal should have a fee-less vending machine for tickets, or make online purchase not stupid.
This Theater used to be great when it opened. Now this theater has stripped a lot from what it once was. No more posters. No more ticket booths. Same old look. The screens have less detail than my TV! AWFUL AWFUL BATHROOMS!!!!! Regal its not 2005 anymore its 2020!!!
This mall is bustling compared to other malls Ive been to lately. There are lots of all different types of shops, some upscale and not so much (including a dollar tree). My friend and I used to go here once a month to walk around and chat (she lives near Boston and I live more west, so its a halfway point for us because of the excellent highway access). My biggest disappointment from this visit is that the Starbucks that used to be here is gone, which left us nothing good to sip while we chatted. Otherwise, we loved our visit as always!
Typical multiplex theatre. I liked that we could just walk up to the ticket taker and show the online ticket without waiting in line. The reserved seats were nice, too.
I was there recently to see the hunt the popcorn was ok and the seats could have been better but I thought the sound was good and the quality of the movie
They sell tickets at the concession stands.. the lines are pretty long during weekends. Tickets should be sold separately.
Good number of theaters. Decent selection of food menu. Considering movie price here and amc in Natick, which has reclining seats and dine in option; movie tickets are the same price.
Great place to watch a movie. It doesnt have àlot of extras, but it also doesnt have long waiting lines. The traffic in the area was heavy.
This Regal Cinema employees are not maintaining theater good. They don’t know how to control the audio levels. The indian(Tamil) movie we watched last, this Saturday( Jan 10, 2020)the volume was crazy loud. The manager was blaming all the Indian movies, saying audio is always loud even when the volume is set at its lowest. Few people we talked, said they got headaches, like literally and few were complaining their heart rate was above normal and many had to cover their ears while watching the movie. Can’t believe the Manager’s response when we expressed our concerns to him, it was just ridiculous and irresponsible.
Went to see the movie I still believe faith based movie and it was excellent
The actual movie experience is good, buying the tickets is awful. You have to wait in food lines so everyone buys tickets and popcorn/drinks at the same time and it takes forever.
I HATE the new arranged seating policy. It’s understandable if it’s a small dine in theater with nicer seats and food service but this is ridiculous. It should be first first come first serve. Never had I such an unpleasant experience at a theater- this experience truly ruined the movie going experience because most of the people did not sit in the assigned seat (yeah I understand that they HAD TO CHOOSE WHEN PURCHASING THE TICKET) however most ended up choosing better seats that were empty therefore throwing off others peoples seating who came later. I had to sit in a seat that wasn’t mine because other people took my seat which I didn’t mind but it then causes issues for those that try to abide by the system. I UNDERSTAND that this is every regal location now, therefore I will no longer go to this branch of theaters. I’d rather enjoy the movie Expedia’s if should be PLEASANT and part of the movie experience is finding that right seat to enjoy the movie. Whoever thought this was a good idea should really think about their choice. We pay for the ticket we choose when to arrive, and we should have the freedom of movement to sit wherever we would like. And the poor employees who have to force this new system spoke with candor to me about how terrible this transition has been. I heard people fighting and clearly not happy over this- many were separated from their families in this arrangement and quite a few demanded for a refund- and or just walked out. I give this ZERO STARS because this is NOT the way to encourage people to enjoy the Cinema. Hopefully enough people feel the same way for them to go back to how it was. Literally the worst movie experience I’ve ever had. And the worst part is the theater wasn’t full and the movie had been out for over a month now. Like seriously you’re going to tell me I have to sit in a assigned seat when a better one that wasn’t available on the screen - ended up actually being empty the entire film. OKAY whatever I’ll just take my money else where.
Wicked expensive and the theater isnt the nicest or comfortable. Almost $9 for a medium popcorn RIDICULOUS PRICES.
Nice place but the seats definitely need and upgrade they are so hard especially when your 7 months pregnant
Mostly clean sometimes some corn here and there and nice staff
Really nice theater and easy to get to. It was weird that the 12:55 show I went to actually started playing previews at that point instead of the actual movie.
Great theater! They still pop their own popcorn. For parents, they just added booze. Great movie selection as well. Wish they had assigned seating.
Time for Regal to spend some money on this theater to bring it up to competitive standards. Old tired seats, dirty carpeting and we stuck to the floor in front of our seats. No comparison to cleanliness, comfort, screens and sound at O’Neill Littleton or AMC Framingham. Time for an upgrade!
Dont even bother going to regal, AMC and Showcase has much better Services!!! Went to movie for 6:20 PM Show, Movie Started at 6:55 PM.... Are you kidding me 35 - 40 minutes worth of Ads, Despite paying for ticket $16!!!! If i watch the same movie on TV with Ads, it has same amount of time duration with Ads... They are only making money because of Telugu, Indian movies!!! Otherwise it would have been closed long time ago!!!!
Great theater.. Always have multiple showtimes to fit your schedule.. However only 4 stars as the pricing is absolutely outrageous.. Cheaper to wait for movies to come on demand and enjoy a nice movie night at home with the family. For a family of 4 to go see a movie it costs about $80 for tickets only and dont even get me started on the snack bar... Over $4 for a botteled water yikes
A bit outdated. Seats are not comfortable. Lines were way too long to get to get refreshments. That are better movie theaters around.
The coldest Ive ever been during a movie. Told the staff and it took then 20min to send someone in, no idea what they did... and then it got colder. Like teeth chattering and jackets on. Time before this, they falsely advertised 3D. I guess theres a reason it was the only theater with seats available for Star Wars.
This place is nice, as its located at the Solomon pond mall.Parking is great and the selection of movies is good. The theater in general is ok.Staff is friendly and food is, well, basic.Obviously not dinner material, just movie snacks for the most part.My only gripe is the viewing theaters themselves. They feel a bit dated.Chairs are not updated, not much in the area of recline and if youre sitting through a 2 hour movie (thats with previews) there will be a bit of fidgeting around. Sound is good, not great, even in the more updated theaters where they have IMAX..In all, If youre not comfortable watching a movie, then youll miss the experience. On the plus side, the areas are clean and they have a rewards program.
Decent movie theater. I would recommend it
Terrible experience! The film that I purchased tickets for was canceled by the theater. When I arrived and showed my ticket, which clearly stated what film I had chosen to see, I was directed to theater #1. After sitting for the an hour with discusting previews running, I questioned the manager as to what was going on, only to be informed that the film had been canceled a few days ago. Why wasnt I told when I arrived? Obviously this theater is very poorly managed! I will never go to this theater again! No ticket refund was offered.
It was very fantastic. We enjoyed the movie. Rating:9 out of 10.
I saw one of the cashiers prepare a bag of popcorn and some popcorn fell on his hand. He then proceeded to lick the popcorn of of his arm and pick the popcorn stuck in his teeth out with his bare hands (the same hands that he then used to serve more food and handle money). The staff in general does not wear hair nets or gloves when they stick their heads into the popcorn machine. This includes the manager.
1st and last time in Regal Solomon Pond.Seats are small, not even comfortable. Smells bad inside. I regret and dont recommend to anyone.AMC and Showcase are much better.
I love this place!! Ive been going here since I was a kid, the employees are so nice, and the popcorn is great. I really recommend this place!!!
Very big. I have no reason to rate it less than 5.
We both love date night here.
Theater had comfortable seats. Pizza was yummy, fresh tomatoes and basil but they didnt put chicken on it after asking if I wanted it.
We went to watch Ford v Ferrai amd tje movie took at lirrle little longer than usual. Movie was fantasticAte at bertuccis and food was grest woth all the new menu item
Havent been here in a long time and was not disappointed. Nice theater reasonably clean. Forgot how big it was.
The app is pathetic, and charges 1.50 per person for convenience. tried to buy 4 tickets when there were 5 in a row available. the app errored saying i was leaving an empty seat between mine and the next. atrocious!
Nice comfortable seats, good sound system. Fresh popcorn!
Nice movie theater only thing is that seats can be more comfortable and they should increase menus items with more veggies options
Movie played all the way from beginning to end, there were commercials before the movie, but there were none during the movie, and I dont think any at the end. Good snacks, and all jokes aside they do serve beer
Very minimal staffing. Theaters are clean and well maintained. Very low occupancy.
The staff was friendly, the place was clean. Only reason I didnt give a 5th star was due to the seating. I wish they had reclining power seats. It makes a difference when movies pass the 2 hour mark.
This is the slowest cinema ever. People don’t know what they are doing
We went to see once upon a Time in Hollywood. The seats are old and uncomfortable. The movie was 3 hours long and I was very figity by the end. At least they have beer and wine.
Nice and Neat. Got pretty good parking spaces.
Saw the premiere of Tolkien on a Tuesday with the promise of a live discussion with the director and primary cast, hosted by Stephen Colbert after the credits. The live show played, there was no audio, 3 guests had to appeal to mgmt. Eventually it was resolved but it was a Tuesday evening at 7:30. Every excuse involved comments that the movie is over, we need to clean that theater, we cut out sound after the credits.
This theater has tons of screens and plenty of showtimes. Full-service concession stands and the popcorn is usually fresh. I would stay away from the drinks Marlborough water tastes a little funny and they tend to be flat. Theres an arcade inside and claw machines to occupy your kids. And the bathrooms are more or less clean. Theres also a little cafe for coffee if youre into that.
Comfortable seating and usually non busy during the day.
Nice mall with good store options
This place was amazing, but then they banished both Hot Topic AND Spencer’s Gifts. RUDE.
They got reserved seats now! Not too many people seem to have realized this yet. I got Star Wars ticket dead in the center of theater a couple week before the opening date while AMC Framingham was mostly sold out.
Had plenty of seats when all the fancy theaters were sold out days in advance (not even opening weekend). Happy we could actually decide to go to the movies and not have to book a week ahead. Staff were super nice and seats were comfortable.
Get here early. Long slow lines to over pay. And I mean very slow and very long. Half the staff was just watching the other employees either rush or slack. Not enough employees working making it a stressful experience.
The movie theater had good picture and sound quality. However, some seats were broken, there was no ac so it was muggy the bathroom was understocked and the prices were very expensive.
Its a theater with movies. Hard to mess that up.
Nice and clean with friendly staff. But blimey those seats are small and the viewing rooms are not made dark enough once the film starts.
For weeks we’ve planned to see a movie (and have many friends with pre-purchased tickets to the same movie) that Regal Solomon Pond was to have opening on 3/28. With no warning the times and availability went from multiple showings over multiple days/weeks, to 2 days on opening weekend, and then disappearing completely. Calls got us no answers to “why.” Very unprofessional handling as without someone noticing, most/all people would have simply “shown up” to find out. The movie was “Unplanned” and we understand there is some controversy over the story - however the theatre acted irresponsibly and has lost our future business. If this is more widespread (all of Regal, for example), then I hope a widespread backlash happens.
Regal has the best rewards system and member app, and Id much rather give my business to Regal, even though theyre a 20 minute drive away. However, the Regals near me, including Solomon Pond, all have very uncomfortable seats and are lacking in that next-level technology and comfort. Meanwhile, in Millbury you can get recliner chairs and X-Plus sound.
There were only two concession lines with a 30 minute wait, but it was clean and the stadium seating meant no obstructed views. Regal has an awesome rewards program and I am headed back for a screening of How to Train Your Dragon with my 5 year old next week.
Good theater.. Lot of screens... No reclining seats though
Polite staff. Theater was mess.
We had a gift card for the movies which we had sitting around for over two years. I was concerned that it wouldnt work but it worked perfectly. The Cinema had excellent seating, fairly priced snacks as well as centrally located theaters. For $50 we saw a new release for 2 and got enough snacks to subdue us through a two and a half hour show. The only problem was and our theater people were on our phones and no one did a pre movie check to ensure that people were following the rules.
A great place to pop in for a movie, friendly staff. Rating is based on the atmosphere, its enjoyable but aging. In an era of reclining oversized movie seats and concierge like service at your seat with the press of a button, this location is nod to what the theater experience used to be, simple and straightforward.
They have a good mix of Indian and Hollywood movie. Overall experience over here has always been good and enjoyable.
Well maintained theatres. Good sound system.
Pretty average movie theater, the thing that really disappointed me was the amount of trailers and commercials prior to the feature presentation. 10-15 minutes is alright, but 37 minutes? Thats a bit ridiculous, especially if the movie is late, it tacks on quite a bit of time.
Over all it seems like a decent place to see a movie but it has a pretty limited selection
The theater is a bit out dated compared to AMC, but the price was good and the movie selection was cool as well.
I have watched few hindi movies here. You can get good samosas in addition usual popcorns. Nice ambiance. Helpful staff.
Old type multiscreen complex. Reasonably good selection of films with occasional special events like operas and film festivals. The seats are old, but OK. Floors sticky.Probably should be remodeled. The food selection has recently been upgraded beyond the usual popcorn and candy. They offer full meals. Dont expect too much.
Hate the new seatingHate not being about to get tickets at doorI pay overpriced tickets so I can go in and sit anywhere I likeAnd move if someone is rude or kicking my seatEct.Now its seat in your prepicked out seatsWaite be hide people to pick out their junk foodAnd make us late for our moveGoing to fitchburg cinema world. Not as shiny but dont have to waite to get in.And can move if someone is rude.I have been going to one of your places for over 15 yearsGood byeAnd good luck!!!Ann Prentice-Serrano
Great views no matter where you sit
A good place to see a movie, but if you want a hotdog be prepared to wait, they dont have enough on the rollers at a time.
Way overpriced compared to AMC. No senior discounts. Uncomfortable seats. I would rate 0 stars if possile.
Downton Abbey movie - wonderful!
Young man working the ticket booth was not sure how to issue tickets when a coupon was being rendered. Customer service people; staff really does need to be familiar with your process, particularly at the register.
The Solomon Pond Mall location is huge, clean and airy. There are no reserved seats but on a Monday night, every seat had a clear view. Buying a ticket was easy, Justin at the refreshment counter gave excellent friendly customer service. This is an excellent option if someone needs a change from AMC.
They need to update the seating. Not easy to get in and out of them if you have a bad knee. And not as clean as it usd to be.
Overall, this theater is whatever. Seats are getting destroyed and are uncomfortable. Some are broken. My review is more on my experience last weekend when I came here on a Saturday night. We purchased tickets then went to get snacks. There was an issue with the soda machine and the kid tried 3 times with Coke and it didnt taste right, so we switched to Sprite. The kid proceeded to take the cup we already drank from three times, rinsed it out, then PUT IT BACK on the stack of cups and used a whole new cup to get the Sprite. I was sick with the flu and to me, this was absolutely unacceptable as rinsing it with water isnt going to rinse the germs, or prohibit someone else from getting sick! I wouldnt drink from the new cup after that and joked with my boyfriend that he can enjoy his spit cup because clearly that probably wasnt the first time the kid has done that. Disgusting. I will be bringing in my own drinks going forward thank you!
Decent theater, nothing too special about it, though. Typical high prices for tickets and concessions but conveniently located next to the mall for one stop shopping & movie experience.
It’s a great place to watch a movie if you are around
Horrible! You have to buy your tix at concession counter. Long lines, missed opening of movie, could not get popcorn. Terrible, stupid management decision. They say this is the new way. Won’t come here again.
Popcorn is uber pricey and the tickets can vary too.. but I have to say this place is always clean and decent.
The movie theater is amazing and is beneficial because its near the mall, so you can just walk over after your movie is doneThe movie theater is huge and has a variety of goods and movies to choose from!! Ive never been to this movie theater before and I already enjoy and love it!! I give it a good 5 star rating!!
They still have open seating and conventional seats which I greatly prefer to the sofa seating that a lot of theaters have adopted. You can sit up straight in conventional seats, you cant in the sofa seating.
It is a great movie theater that has great food too
Great theater, decent seats.
Excellent theater. Very comfortable place. Very enjoyable to take in a movie.
Reserved seating, Who wants the hassle of chasing people out of your seat?
Plays bollywood movie, prime reason for us to go. The shopping mall next door is awesome place to hangout.
