WorldMark Marina Dunes

The resort itself is nice and well maintained. The weather is always ranging from cool to cold never warm or hot. No swimming or wading along the entire beach due to dangerous tides.

Next to Marina Dunes and Pacific Ocean! Has updated units but only 33! Comfortable but smaller units than others! Partnered with The Sanctuary Beach Resort. Wine tasting with cheese/crackers everyday 4-5pm. Pit fire @7:30pm.

This place is amazing- great rooms & service. The beach access is fantastic. We look forward to returning (hopefully soon).

Great location

We got in last night..I immediately noticed a difference in our check in vs the other guest being checked in next to us. I mentioned to my husband that the guest next to us was told about the restaurant when the girl upon my check in asked if I was a sanctuary guest or worldmark. That was odd, right off the bat. We were not told about the restaurant, bikes etc. We later ordered door dash and apparently the front desk told the driver he could not deliver to our room and that they would deliver it to us. Welp 2 calls later and 20 minutes later still no food. Apparently the front desk took our order but never notified the Worldmark staff so our food was just sitting at the front reception. Not a great start to our first time at Marina. The sanctuary front desk definitely needs some customer service training!, Up a few notches

Love this place.

This is our first time staying at this location. It is a nice cozy place to stay. Its really close to the beach. They have a small playground for the kids. The jacuzzi and pool are outdoors. There is no gym or game room at this property. My husband and my kids like it. Its a perfect size for our family. My daughter wants to come back again when its not so cold and windy so she can enjoy the pool at night time. We drove from the bay area so its a great location for us to come back to. Its close to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

The check in office is hard to find. Its the first building after you turn off the main road, go in the front, the Westin check-in is on the right, the Sanctuary check-in is on the left. The WiFi costs, if your not a platinum member, which is ridiculous in this day and age. The Westin TVs are tiny, my laptop screen is almost as big. They rent DVDs ... a bit old school but with the cable TV choices, it makes sense (this is why people dont have cable subscriptions anymore).

Great worldmark property. Right on the beach . Nice and quiet. It hard to get time here but it worth it.

Such a lovely place to stay!! Room looked small from pictures but I was pleasantly surprised!! Very close to the beach which was great! And the hotel staff was very helpful and professional!

My family loved this place. The beach was so much fun even when it was cold and stormy.

Excellent location - can walk to the beach right from your unit. All the amenities you want plus an upscale restaurant onsite.

Resort was very nice. Had a really nice pool and hot tub. The weather was not what we expected. It was always windy and overcast. The rooms were good but being on the bottom floor we could hear what sounded like elephants wrestling upstairs. We could even hear someone snoring.

Access to private beach. Fire pits at sundown every night. Free wine and cheese tasting every afternoon. Beautiful relaxing place.

We love coming here. I mean literally right on the beach. How could that be bad!!!!

I have been coming here for years. I like the location next to the beach. It’s a great place to go on side trips to Monterrey bay aquarium, Carmel, and Santa Cruz. The amenities are good and the rooms are spacious and clean. I recommend this spot for people who have never been to the California Coast.

One of our favorite Worldmark locations. Great beach and close to Monterey and the Monterey Aquarium.

Always feel at home here - bring your cozy clothes for beach sitting though - the clouds roll in and the breeze can bite! They have new bikes to ride - cruisers with baskets.

Beautiful place to stay and the employees are great.

The units are small but comfortable. The master bedroom had a king size bed, 2 twins in the second and a Murphy bed in the living room. There is no a/c (although, since it was 60 degrees in late July, probably not a big need) and if you like moving air, I would request a fan when you arrive.

The 2 bedroom condos are small but its worth it to be just a couple minute walk to the beach. The beach was cold and windy but beautiful. Large pool and very large hot tub. Kiddie pool too. Service was great. This WorldMark is 2 minutes off the freeway.

Great hotel. Rooms are small but are very clean. You are also a walk away from the beach and every night they have a bonfire at night.

I believe the world mark gentleman that check the and was John Louis and he is a king, a Saint, a miracle worker. Reservations department screwed up and be help get everything back together

This place is wonderful. It is more like an apartment or condo a stones throw from a beautiful beach. Weve been two times now, and the first visit we were able to whale-watch from the beach. The nightly bonfires and wine/cheese tasting are a nice touch. Right now there is no lobby and signage for the location is lacking so if we didnt know how to get there it would have been hard to find. Truly, the worst part about this place is we didnt have more time.

Nice property, directly on Pacific Ocean and beach access. Free parking but you have to pay for internet. Restaurant on grounds. Our unit has been updated but had a super small TV in the main living room. No air conditioning at this property, but not needed.

WorldMark Marina Dunes has beach access. This location is our favorite. Its about 15 minutes from Monterey, we love it.

This is one of my favorite condo to stay at. Theyre nice places and your close enough to hear the waves lull you to sleep. Staff is VERY nice and the places are nice. Only thing thats a drag is i have to wait two years between visits because they dont have a lot of units. So your on a 2 year wait list to stay there.

Second time weve stayed here. Amazing views from the hotel of the beach. A little tricky check in because of lobby renovation but the staff was quick to help. Rooms are a little small compared to other worldmarks but still nice and hey, youre at the beach

Excellent location with beach and ocean only a 1 minute walk from our unit. First class unit furnishings and kitchen. Close enough to Monterey and Big Sur points of interest and hiking trails for short drives from the resort.

Excellent location, right next to the ocean. Amenities are adequate. Service is prompt and friendly.

Workers accommodating and helpful animals allowed here this is a bit disruptive, children were all bitten up by sand mites at the beach and the toy area was roped off and not accessible.

Nicely appointed and comfortable rooms with fully stocked kitchen. Location is quiet as it is right on the dunes and about a 10 minute drive into Monterey.

First time at this place. Was relaxing . Definately will return.

The Place is Good, I just was expecting better weather

They need to make sure the people from the Sanctuary side keep their dogs out of the pool. Two golden retrievers were taken into the kiddie pool then the big pool. Also the checkin area has no acknowledgement that it is where Worldmark guests go.

Great place, loved the beach!

If you belong to Worldmark, this has been one of my favorites to go. I always grab a day here and there with bonus time. The shared Santuary Resort shares the beach and pool is available to the public via daily rates. Besutiful beach, great pool and hot tub, nightly fires to make smores and an all around good time or romantic adventure!!

Loved it!

Other than the water smelling like sulfur (or is it sewer) and the fridge that sounded like a jet plane at night as it was on its way out, it was a pretty nice place. The real test of the integrity of the organization however came into play when I injured myself at the pool. The unprotected 2 ft drop off that was next to the hot tub was not lit at night and I fell. After my ER visit, they would not acknowledge or pay for, little lone compensate me for anything. Careful!

Staff was very friendly. View was amazing and the bonfires every night was always fun!

Nice place and very beautiful. I only gave three stars because its not safe. We had our bikes stolen from the property. Its a pity there is on site theft.

Worldmark Resort great! Kula Ranch Restaurant is becoming deplorable. Terrible, gut wrenching food, terrible customer service, and nothing was open on the patio, which is advertised! Terrible terrible terrible.
