First time at WWT. Customer service was just ok. They seemed to be in a rush and it was a bit uncomfortable. But my experience wasn’t ruined. It was fun to shoot an AK and a couple handguns. I’d come back to hang with friends. Maybe no so close to closing hours, but due to covid-19 the Google hours aren’t accurate on the app. Prices are high but I have nothing to compare them to. Lol

Absolutely one of the WORST experiences I’ve ever had a a gun store. The guy working the counter was rude and didn’t even look at me in the face when I was asking questions.... Do yourself a favor and drive 5 miles down the road to Adventure Outdoors, where the staff is kind and will look a customer in the eye when asking questions. Again, do not waste your time coming here and getting NO customer service.

Terrible Customer ServiceAfter waiting several week for my order with no real information, my gun was sold while I was await for my background check. The staff gave me no information at all. Some old guy even told me he would give me a call in a couple of days after he figured out what happened. I live in Conyers and took 3 hours out of my day to Drive to Marietta for this BS. I try my best to remain respectful at all time but this situation was beyond disrespectful.

I see my review has been deleted, if anyone is looking for a gun to purchase DO NOT purchase anything from this establishment they have past reviews from other customers that were in my same situation with buying a gun from them and you’ll never receive or hear anything from them about the gun ever, save yourself the hassle go somewhere else.

Very economical for a shooting range. I bought a handgun from Bailey and he was great. He went the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied. No high pressure sales. I will definitely recommend and purchase from them again.

Great customer service very friendly

This place is definitely below average. The target systems dont work properly and they dont allow standard 223 rounds. This has to be the only place in Georgia that doesnt allow regular AR15 223 bullets to be shot on their range! And no Im not talking about special armor piercing rounds or anything crazy like that. Im talking about regular 55 grain brass cased projectiles.

Had a blast great instructor class with Kendall and a great range to come to. I will definitely be coming back again and again!!!

I called to say I was coming in and they told me they take the last shooter at 5:30. What they didn’t tell me was that the ranged closed at 6. I had to drive 15 minutes there to find that out. Who only wants to shoot for 30 minutes?

Really great experience. A buddy of mine told me to check this place out because I was in search of a handgun. I was not planning on shopping that day but but wanted to see what they had to offer. Great inventory. Great staff. Very knowledgeable. Walked out with a new handgun and some new accessories.

I made an online order on 07/9/20 and was told I should be able to come in for pick up a week from that date, called in again and asked the gentleman have the gotten any orders from pickup he said no I can’t predict the future like what the hell dude I remember his voice it’s the same guy that told me I would get my package a week from that date now he’s telling me 30 days I’m disappointed, don’t tell me a date I’ll receive something and don’t get it on that date cause I’ll be looking forward too, I will never be making any purchases from this establishment ever again and my dad who’s in the military will be hearing about this as well and as far as customers I won’t allow none of my families and friends to shop here either I will be saving them

Meh..what can I say, its a small shop, so selection is sort of small. Pricing is not the greatest either. Same stuff can be found cheaper around other shops. Some stuff is a bit cheaper than others, but its very seldom. Range is not that all great. Like someone mentioned, you cant use standard rounds, must buy their frangible stuff, which is a little bit high. Just dont get it why its mostly pistol range. Adventures Outdoors is just down the road 5 mins away, you can use whatever you want except steel case as usual. Customer service is seldom, one day its great, other day not so much. Guess different people have different interpretation of customer service. Shop is clean ill give them that, clean business is always nice, but other than that, there are plenty of other options around town. Maybe if you had normal range like everyone else around does then you would have a lot more business

I have always had such a great experience here. The staff has always been incredibly knowledgeable and corteous. Bailey helped me this week and got me signed up for the Gun Safety class with Kendall ( Which i highly suggest) both gentlemen were so great teaching me and helping me become more comfortable shooting.

I could not have been happier with this place. Very straight forward and safety oriented. Evan was our sales guy and was great. Answered all of my questions along with my 14yr old son. He treated us as if we were family( We were from out of town and had never visited this store before). Hospitality could not have been better. I actually felt as if I had know everyone here my whole life. Prices were great and the range was too. We actually came back the next day and shot. Tennessee is my home but I have found a great second home away. I will be back when we are through again. 5 stars are not enough for this place.

Find another gun store. I went into this establishment with cash in hand looking to buy a rifle. They did not have the rifle in stock that I was looking for. When I asked the man how I would go about ordering this rifle from him, he simply shook his head and said no. He would later tell me at the rifle chambered in the round I was looking for was unavailable to be ordered. I left there disappointed and headed for another gun store in marietta where they were happy to do the research, find the rifle, and order it for me. Do yourself a favor and find a gun store where they’re happy to help the customers.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEI called asked a guy a price range on what my glock would cost. I explained that I am traveling over 1000 miles to come to his shop and just wanted an idea, and he told me NO...I will not give you a price until I see it. Thats perfectly fine but an average cost would have been nice. On top of that I called 3 stores already that was more than willing to tell me a ball park. He was able to tell me what the glock sells for in his shop right now NEW but couldnt give me an average price? I told him I had a brand new used 1 time and NOTHING. If his customer support was this lazy imagine what it would be like actually doing business with them...TERRIBLE. One last thing... They quoted wayyy below what others quoted to sell a brand new glock ($550)....

I just took the Gun Safety & Familiarization class here and I walked away feeling much more confident about purchasing and owning a firearm. The instructor Gunny was very knowledgeable about the laws, handling, and techniques and made it easy for beginners to understand. He was also very entertaining which made the 4 hour class much less of a drag. The 3 hours of class and 1 hour on the range was a sufficient combo. Looking forward to going back for the Defensive Pistol course. By the way, I drove all the way from Downtown Atlanta to Marietta for this and it was totally worth it so I will be back.

Dig this place. Theyre small and compact, but cool dudes. No need to pull the race card for these guys. Apparently someone seems to use race as a way to justify the reason they didnt get what they wanted. However, there is always a diverse group of people and always someone ready to help if they arent super busy. They have a pretty decent shooting range as well.

I have been going to WILD WEST TRADERS for over 3 years...I call it my second home...Dave and his staff treat me like Family..I mean even when I dont need anything gun related I go in there just to socialize...I am a African American and there are only a couple of ranges that make me feel welcomed...this is one of them...GREAT PEOPLE...from Dave the owner...to Scott...Matt..Pete..and the rest of the staff..they are very knowledgeable AND welcoming...to ALL PEOPLE!...so go in check them out...and tell them Gus sent you!

Just took a class with my wife at Wild West Traders. Gunny Herren was our instructor. What a great instructor and class. Very informative and Gunny was very knowledgeable. After our class we got to meet some of the other employees. Everyone was super nice and went out of their way to answer all of our questions. Cant wait to go back and do some more shooting.

Took a basic handgun class May 2014. One of the best classes ever, the instructor, Wes Miller was very thorough, patient, professional and very knowledgeable of the contents of the class and shooting range. No pressure of being nervous, he created an atmosphere of comfort, with you hungry and anxious to learn more. He makes it possible that you are very familiar and comfortable with your handgun prior to shooting.Everyone in the class was very pleased. I recommend anyone taking this class has Wes for their instructor. He may be a young instructor, however, his teaching proves that age is just a number...Thank you Wes, we love you..

Whether you are new to firearms or a seasoned marksman Wild West has you covered. They have a great selection of new and used firearms in the store. The range is clean, with good lighting and well ventilated. And last but not least the staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. You wont be disappointed!

Great staff. Competitive pricing. Only downside (hence -1 star) is the range could use an update. Its a little dark in there and the tracks are analog on sender switches so you have to guesstimate range based on the markings on the wall. Also the tracks hang targets a little low as compared to other ranges Ive been in. Not necessarily a negative because it changes it up a little but it does feel a little weird shooting at targets hung at a childs height.

I just got my very first Cerakote job done on a micro Draco from these guys. I cant begin to tell you how the work done had far surpassed my expectations. Nothing short of excellent! The staff is very friendly and well knowledgable without the, I know more than you attitude that you get at most places. One guy in particular, Scott is, to me an AK specialist and knew exactly what direction to point me towards my project. Ive since purchased an AR from the company at a great price and am absolutely pleased. I would reccomend them to anybody for anything gun related.

This shop is fantastic! My wife and I are members and practice as often as we can, the guys at the range are always helpful. The guys in the shop are always helpful and willing to help you with any questions or needs you may have. When my wife was looking to purchase a gun they let her try a couple of similar guns to see how she felt about each and made recommendations of what she would like. I have never had a bad experience with anyone at the shop.

Do not go here. Ive been to almost every gun range near or inside of Atlanta. Ive never had anyone come up and tell me that I cant do double taps, I cant shoot fast(even if you are on target), and the prices are ridiculous.One shot per second is what they told me. I dont see the point in that. I wasnt tearing up their range, all my shots were on target, so why? The guy came up and said I need to shoot like the rest of the customers at the range. All of the other shooters looked like beginners.I wasnt being unsafe with my firearm or damaging their property so why cant I practice shooting fast?Drive a few more miles and go to the GA Firing Line or somewhere else.The guys working at the gun sales department were cool. The guys working at the range-walk around like someone pissed in their Cheerios that morning.

I really cant say anything but good things about this place. Everyone who works at this shop has been great, but I have to give a shout out to Evan in particular. Im a first time gun owner, and Evan really went out of his way to help me out. This included giving me advice, showing me some basics, and even coming out onto the range with me for a few minutes. Really fantastic service.Im very happy with my purchase, and the range is great too. Ive come to shoot a bunch of times, and really have no complaints at all. They have a membership that is really a great deal: unlimited range time, discounts on ammo, discounts on targets, discounted rentals, etc. Im sold.I would feel entirely comfortable making more purchases here in the future, and would most definitely recommend this shop without any reservations.

Went to Wild West Traders yesterday for the first time. Their range is well maintained, good visibility, nice distance, and they spaced other shooters apart to improve on the experience. They were friendly, taking time to introduce themselves and offering sales opportunities for 9mm ammunition prior to shooting (Federal 115GR $11.99/box). Range price was $12/day. Ill be back again with my wife. Great place to shoot, well stocked store, range fee and ammo priced great and they offer training. WWT - well done!

My wife and I recently visited Wild West to purchase a handgun for her and to take a handgun class from Gunny. He was very informative and made her feel very comfortable. After she completed the class we spent some time on the range, my wife felt much more comfortable and was noticeably more accurate with my 40cal Springfield. We then decided to try a few of the handguns they had available to rent, something a little smaller that she could carry daily. The people at the counter were very helpful in finding a model that was compact and comfortable enough for to want to carry. Luckily enough the model she chose was available to test from their range firearms. We again visited the range where she test fired the gun till she was confident that she could carry this weapon on her daily. I am happy with the service we received and would make another purchase from Wild West and would recommend Gunnys course to anyone interested in owning a new firearm.

This place is very small and was a little hard to find. But everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. This was my first time shooting and they were very patient, thigh I had my boyfriend with me and he answered most of my questions before they had a chance. I definitely recommend this range.

Wild West Traders is a great store with really helpful staff. I came in with plenty of questions and they were very helpful to point me in the right direction. My wife and I wound up taking their gun safety course together and found it very informative, well well presented, and fun. Their range is pretty good and they offer a variety of guns for rental.They definitely earn five stars in my book.

Bought my first pistol here, had to call ahead to special order it and they called every day over the short shipping period to give me status updates. Very nice people, not gun-snobby in the slightest bit, were very knowledgeable and helpful. I received free rangetime with my purchase along with 1 free boc of ammo. I will be returning within the week to purchase my first shotgun here.

Its just not safe enough to shoot here anymore. Prices are great. Range is good. People that work there are good, with the exception of paying attention to safety. I wish the RSO someone was complaining about was here everyday because it needs it. I have a membership and shoot here weekly. Im seriously considering forfeiting the remaining time on it because Im concerned I could be hit from an accidental discharge. The past three times Ive went Ive seen loaded firearms passed between lanes, a person sitting behind the lanes dry firing a pistol while pointing it directly forward and someone racking one into the chamber with the gun pointed at the adjacent booth instead of down range. I have to go get someone and ask them to watch the range or theyll ignore it. Theyve put cameras in now, which I thought would help but they dont seem to pay attention to the monitors. Safety has to be the #1 priority and a customer shouldnt be catching this many issues. They either need to have a RSO in the range at all times or someone glued to the monitor. Too many novice shooters here that dont know how to be safe with firearms. Ive really enjoyed this place but Im not going to but my safety in jeopardy. If this isnt addressed soon, I fully expect someone to be shot before the year is over.

Love this place! Its great for beginners, as the staff will not push things on you but help you in making the best purchase decision for yourself. Seasoned shooters will appreciate the wide variety!Anyone out there interested in making that first gun purchase... I highlyrecommend you TAKE A CLASS or two BEFORE making that purchase. I had the best experience at Wild West Traders! Ive been to many other competitors in the area and I was always cast aside because I was a woman. Most competitors tried to sell me guns that they thought all woman buy, and never really listened to what I was asking, but Wild West Traders took the time with their great customer service to sell me the gun that I wanted. Scott and Evan are fantastic! They both took the time to show me all of my options and find my perfect first gun!

Recently ordered a couple of very popular rifles from their website. Both were in my hands within 48 business-hours. They have very knowledgeable staff who are both friendly and helpful.Even more than the great custom service I received, I respect the fact that this shop wont sell a firearm to someone with no firearms knowledge unless the buyer will take a free safety lesson. How many other retailers put the safety of their customers before their own profit margins?Support a local small business that is responsibly run by good people - check out WWT online or in-person.

Very disappointed in this place- I was excited at first since Ive never been to an actual shooting range and it was my first time with my husband, like many on here we were never greeted when we first came in. They were taking care of two men before us and were very vague and short with them. Once we reached the counter we were basically staring at each other in silence waiting for any of the two to say how they may help us. Said we couldnt shoot there because we were not experience shooters, which is fine we didnt need their help in anything we knew how to load and discharge a weapon just fine, however one thing that bothered me was that it took forever to get out of them that we couldnt shoot there. I kept asking questions and they responded with a stare!! Finally the one man said we dont have instructors available on the weekends. Needless to say it is not a very welcoming place, go else where. Regardless the different types of races that were shooting in there id say they dont like anyone outside their kind really!

Excellent class with Wes today; it was informative and succinct. My interaction with other staff members was pleasant and fruitful. We even had a good amount of range time after the class. I highly recommend this place and Wes as an instructor.

Bought 2 boxes of bullets to reload and 1 box was short 200 bullets, about $25.00 worth. Was told over the phone and in an email they would make it right with me, this was 2 months ago. If they wont stand behind what they sell and dont live up to their word, I wouldnt make a major purchase there. I have been a member there for 2 years and had always had a good experience with them until now. At this point its a matter of principal. I guess losing one customer is not a big deal to them.

We recently took a gun safety class here with Gunny. It was a great class, very informative. Gunny really knows his stuff! He answered all of our questions and was funny too. We covered gun safety, different types of guns and ammo, laws, and then finished with about an hour on the range firing under his supervision with guns of our choosing. Both my husband and I really enjoyed it. We found a Groupon for the class so it was also very affordable. All we paid for was the ammo we used on the range. Everything else (range time, gun rental, ear and eye protection, target) was included.

Firearms safety class with Gunny was well presented and well organized. Hes very professional and maintains strong safety code. Treated everyone with respect. Plus hes 55 of adorable manhood!

Its ok. Not a big place and not a huge selection but its got the main asks. Have an indoor range. Im not sure if the ventilation is adequate and it was hot as hell. Id prefer to go to adventure outdoors.

Took the concealed carry class with Kendall Bearden - excellent. Kendall listened to our interests and applied the material to our situation. Highly recommend the concealed carry class to anyone regardless of skill level.

Stopped in to browse. I am now out of state so found out I cant buy today, but still bought some ammo and did some range time. Evan and the team were very helpful and took care of us professionally and attentively. Was even a bit busy at one point, and they still did a great job.

After speaking with the owner who reached out to me, we decided, in spite of our previous experience to still purchase a gun. He more than made up for what happened. Not necessarily with stuff but overall customer service and just plain human decency. I decided he and his business shouldnt suffer due to the deeds of one man. I will purchase here again.

I went to Wild West Traders to look for a entry level 9mm. With the staffs help and a trip to their firing range I was able to pick out my new gun. They where very helpful and knowledgeable and the staff was very nice. I didnt feel rushed or like they where trying to up-sell me. And they took the time to show me how to operate and care for my gun. I have recommended them to my all my friends.

Great experience! Im a new gun owner and signed up for the Gun Safety & Familiarization class with my 8 yr. old son several weeks ago. I wanted to at least have a basic level of understanding before going out to the range by myself - and wanted my son to understand and learn some of the basic fundamentals of firearm safety & operation since we now have a gun in our house.The class was very thorough and informative. Definitely a good primer for new gun owners and for those considering moving up and getting a CCW permit. The instructor was really enthusiastic about having my son with me - and teaching youth firearm responsibility. When we got to the range portion, they let him fire a .22 - which was awesome, since I grew up around those guns. Instructor and range operators were incredibly patient, calm with him - and after going through a magazine, my son was using a firearm safely (with plenty of supervision).I walked away feeling comfortable using my new gun, and my son now understands the importance of treating firearms with respect. We will be returning to this range at least once a month for target practice, since its a sport we both enjoy.Lastly, I read several comments about racism and couldnt help but laugh. Walk into the store and youll find one of the most racially diverse crowds youll ever find anywhere - from behind the counter, to within the range. Everyone treats everyone with respect and thats that. Anything else is pure hogwash.Great shop. Well be back!

Ive gone to Wild West Traders a couple of times now over the past few months to use their firing range and have had a blast. They are all highly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. My wife and I recently attended a gun class taught by Gunny and I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone out there interested in shooting guns for sport, carrying guns, using guns for home defense, etc. Gunny is a blast and made the class extremely fun and interesting. Not only that, its the cheapest (read that as inexpensive) gun range in town. They treat you right and appreciate your business and they will continue to receive my business for months and years to come! Keep up the great work guys!

Went in for the gun safety class. Gunny H. was very informative, but kept the class engaged. Range training was quite the thrill. Gunny was very helpful and patient, giving pointers and hands on assistance. I hope the posts regarding racism were isolated to one, hopefully former, employee. I so want to do the womens special range days here.

I cant believe Im reviewing a gun range, but there is a first time for everything.First off, any place that has a Ladies Night is okay in my book. On Wednesdays women get in free with a purchase of ammo.My husband frequents this place and commented the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, I have to agree with him.It was my first time popping my cherry at a gun range, and I surprisingly felt very safe (well after a while). I noticed the staff were quick to correct any behavior that may lead to anyone hurting themselves or others, but definitely in a friendly matter. Also, they were conscientious of the spent casings on the floor, and ensured the floor was swept appropriately.I definitely will be back!

I have been searching for a nice gun shop and range for awhile now and this place exceeded my expectations. Everyone on the gun side as well as the range side was polite and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable asking questions to the employees and they didnt seem bothered by them at all. I did wish that they had a bigger selection of guns for purchase for women, although there is a purple SR 22 that we had found to be a perfect match for me that I will be going back for!

Friendly people running the place. Good knowledge of the guns. However they seemed to be in a hurry. Didnt seem to want to help us find a holster for the pistol we just bought from them. Other than that a nice place for what you need .

My 11 year old and 15 year old daughters recently took Gunnys youth safety class. He was amazingly patient with 5 first time shooters. The majority of the class was female--rather unusual for this type of activity. Following the class, the manager spent a significant amount of time reinforcing Gunnys safety instructions & assisting us. He suggested specific handguns that would enable us to be safe and physically a good fit for our small hands. Their staff is knowledgeable, supportive of their communities and incredibly patient with their customers. On this particular Saturday, a large church group came in to the range without a reservation and all members of the group were accommodated. Not easy on a Saturday and a holiday weekend. I have witnessed the employees interacting with the general publics sense of entitlement for over 10 years. Always professional, this establishment certainly takes a special interest in the safety and fire arm education for women. It is rare for a business to have multiple generations of customers as it does in our family.

I went there just to shoot my remington 1911 .45 one day. ended up trading it it for a S&W Sport 2. which i have recently had modified. I brought it in another day to have my 12 inch keymod free floating barrel attached. was told it would only cost about 50 bucks. all said and done i was charged over 100 dollars for this install. I asked why basically hidden fees after clarifying i am going to go pay 50 dollars for this install. Bailey who is the handgun expert at the shop his attention to detail and returning my calls could have asked for better service. upon receiving my rifle back. there is an O ring sliding up and down my barrel. Since whoever is their rifle specialist is seems to work odd ours or is not there somply when i need to ask a questions about this is never in. Living in east cobb this not exactly a short trip for me to make. Ive called several other times to get this fixed with no resolve. i finished my build. But i am unclear if my weapon is actually safe to fire because of this one piece sliding around my barrel. As a loyal customer and the relationship i built with randy. I only go there for my gun needs. Between with i was told i was going to pay and i what i actually paid which was more than double then coming to find out it wasnt put together right. is the only reason i am not giving a raving review about WWT. To this day i have still not been able to find for schedule a time over the weekend to get this seemingly easy fix repaired. Bailey great help, couldnt as for better service. rifle guy who can only work on my rifle has yet to call me back after a month or 2 now. Very disappointed in this aspect. not to mention part of the deal of this swap was to have my rifle professionally zeroed in. Never happened. Again disappointed especially after referring several people to go there for shoot and great selection.

This is my favorite place to buy or shoot my guns. When I am in the market for a new gun, this is always my first stop. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledge. The best part of this store is their staff. They do not rush you to purchase anything and are not gun snobs. In other words, they do not make you feel like an idiot because you do not know something or ask a question. Even when I buy a gun online, I have it shipped to Wild West Traders because this is my favorite gun store to shop or just stop buy to see what new gun is out.

Just took my wife there to try out a gun that I bought her for Christmas. Based on the reviews I would have expected a bunch of a**holes in white hoods behind the counter. For a racist business there was quite a mixture of white and black patrons in the store. The staff was also super friendly and helpful, even offering to keep our motorcycle helmets behind the counter while we used a range.The only reason Im not giving them 5 stars is because the facility was a bit long in the tooth and the pricing was a bit high. All in all though, I would have no problem with going back any time and was happy enough with the facility. Even though things were a bit old everything did work, so it isnt a deal breaker.

I didnt like the people who went here, however the range was nice.

Great place. Went shooting for the first time on a Groupon. Jorge was very helpful and made sure to tell me all the necessary safety precautions. Would definitely go again

Wes Millers class yesterday: Sunday, August 7th 1-5 p.m. My daughter and I thought Wess class was awesome in every way. There is not a thing that we would change. Very interesting speaker. Graciously answered our questions. Provided personal help to all. Very kind and thoughtful! Someone has a great son!

Im really a little surprised by some of the negative reviews I see. I have been going to WWT off and on for the last couple of years. I have tried a few other ranges, but find this one to be more comfortable than the others.While some of the staff is a little more personable than others, I have found all of them to be helpful, knowledgeable and patient, both in the shop and on the range. I have made 2 purchases here, and hope to make a 3rd soon.I have brought friends as well as my son and grandson here - the skill set ranging from none to some and they were great with all of us!A GREAT place!!!!!

The customer service was fantastic. Wasnt a employee there that didnt know his craft, full of information, and not judgemental of first time users. The class was very worthwhile and was good for both my wife and I. Dont know anyone personally but I feel welcome whenever I walk in the store. And its professional conversation as it is an arms business, nothing to play with. Overall exceeded my expectation.

This would be a five star review if it werent for one thing...so please read through.My wife and I love this store. We are repeat customers. The staff is friendly, educated, and helpful. I find the overall feel and attitude at the store is pleasant and makes me want to be a customer and partake in the gun culture. We like this place so much that we spent $700+ there yesterday.My issue is, we were in the range for about 2 hours. It was so unbelievably cold in the INDOOR range, that my wife was shivering for the entire time in the range. I had my heavy wool jacket on, and had to wear my toboggan OVER my eye and ear protective gear. She also wore every winter item that she had with her INSIDE INDOOR range. It was chilling to the bone. Because of the ventilation system, it was blowing and circulating air that was probably 40 degrees. I needed gloves and a scarf, but honesty I expected to hang my coat on a coat hanger and enjoy the range with my wife. I most certainly did not expect to need any more warm clothing.As I write this review, I have a sore throat and a runny nose. I have come down with a cold. I cant wait to go back and enjoy Wild West Traders with my family and friends, but I wont be able to if I die of pneumonia. If the owner(s) doesnt address the temperature issue in the range, I will have to take my business elsewhere.
