Firefighters Park

Overall I love the new dog park here! Nice lush green grass, well maintained, HUGE areas for both small and large dogs & bathing station. I wish there were more dog fountains other than the one by the gate and walking across the corrugated metal bridge from the parking lot to the park gets SCORCHING hot and the sound scares many dogs as they walk across it. It would be nice if they could roll out one of those carpets they use at the beach to protect their little feet!

Really nice park to have fun. Fighterfires Park has tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, basketball courts, and jungle gym play area.You can learn tennis at the courts, go jogging, ride your bike, or bring your family for a fun filled day.Come out and play!

The new dog park is spectacular! All of the dogs we have met have been friendly. Theres a covered picnic table, and fresh water for the pups.

It was filled with friendly dogs and people. It had a wash station outside the fenced area, and water fountains for both dogs and people. The inside was clean and spacious with garbage cans (it provides bags) and plenty of seating.

Best park ever. The park is never dirty and it has sport/ gym equipment. You can register for tennis foot ball volleyball is free and a whole lot of other sports. There’s a place for dogs small children, big children and adults

Ive been coming here since my daughter was 10 now she is 22. Ive always loved this park. But the improvement is awesome! More activities for all ages and for those who may have a medical or handicap situation. The swings for the kids is the best. Wonderful experience. This is the best park ever. I got my parents and my sisters coming to this park.

I thought it would be bigger with more activities, but overall a nice park. There is a shorter trail for walking/running, they have a larger playground but closed off due to COVID19, and a tennis court. Cute park.

Had a Great time for my Cousins Birthday. Only problem was Because of the Shut Downs. Only 3 things were available. Still had a Great time.

This park used to be so nice, lots of activities for the little ones, what happened to the program they had where they taught kids safety tips? I gave it 3 stars because it seems like the playground is under construction and seems like theyre replacing all the old stuff. The restrooms are filthy and need a baby changing station. I definitely dont recommend it. I rather drive to Coral Springs.

Good place to take a walk. Safe and though a relative short circuit, it serves its needs.

If you like tennis, there are 5 courts but suddenly, tennis lessons come in and ask you to give the court, not fair sometimes, plus there are 2 courts on the East side that are marked with a whole lot of lines that will get you confused. Safety is also an issue, make sure you lock your car and dont leave anything visible.

Awesome new pickellball courts! Just started playing with some friends. We play Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays after work around 5. There are 4 courts so no waiting to.play!

Love this park. My friends and I get together a few days a week to workout. I love that we have a nice space to do M our workouts and the park is always clean and well lit. The track around with the exercise equipment is really cool, theres even a skate park. I look forward to the safety town thing to be reopened so M I can bring my kids, the playground is very nice.

Ive lived across the street from this park my whole life Ive had countless memories at this park. My favorite part is the soccer field at the park its perfect for a 6v6 or 7v7. I go there all the time with friends and family to play soccer.

Quality Park, well-maintained.

I actually liked what they did to the place. Looks really nice compared to a year ago. The new playground looks great! Screw the kids! The next time that I go there Im playing in the playground. The only drawback is that the park is now over crowded with people. Kinda felt like I was at an amusement park waiting to get on a ride. LOL

Great park BUT the playground is currently under construction. They have basketball courts and a nice walking path. Once the playground is completed this will definitely be a go to spot. Only giving 3 stars because the playground has been under construction for over 3 months which seems a bit long.

This park was renovated recently.. it looks like other place... It is so beautiful, bring your kids and also come and do exercise, you can walk, run, play tennis, etc.

Here is a park for the whole family with lots to offer. An updated exercise path with new equipment. I nice big covered layground. Lots of tennis courts in great shape, Two full size basketball courts,. Four brand new pickle ball courts and and inclosed field for soccer. Margate is doing a great job making their playgrounds current and in great shape

They have added a new pavilion, however it is the same size as the others. I wish there bigger ones. There is also new work out equipment and a new play area. It already had basketball and tennis courts, not to mention the volley ball area, I think this park is a really good place to work out and to bring the family to relax.

Speechless ...safety concerns NEEDS a Guard we should feel safeNot safe

I skated there for years. However the track needs to be more smooth resurfaced as it is wearing out and rough. with all the trees growing up they need to keep the track blown off and free from debris and parents let their kids play on the track. it is a jogging & skating path and kids should not be playing on it. Parents will not move their kids either when people are walking or skating. Just inconsiderate. there is a playground for kids, they should be kept there. The park is to be for all people whether jogging walking or skating. Children should be within boundries of the playground unless riding their bike on the path. Have not been back in years.

Perfect spot for family to walk, ride bicycles, kids to play, and maybe play some basketball, futsal, pickleball and tennis.

Went for a pick up soccer game that I found in the Meet up app the field is turf (artificial grass) we played 8 x 8 the field is a bit longer than a regular one looks like it was a hockey field. I saw there is a couple of volleyball courts too.

What can I say this park is awesome. Basketball courts. Large field. Pavilions for rental great Community Center. Amazingly friendly staff. We love going to this park.

NBA player Brian Knight gave out Adidas backpacks and hair free haircuts today It was truly a blessing. He cared enough to give back to the community. He gave everyone free lunch hot dogs, macaroni cheese, fries, hamburgers, popcorn, ice cream. It was truly a wonderful experience

I have been coming to Firefighters Park since my children were little girls. My oldest daughter now is 19 fixing to turn 20 and theyre putting in a new playgrounds at Firefighters Park soon. I stood and watched them tear the old playground out that she played on when she was just a little baby. I walk the walking path many times. I saw this little Park go through a lot of changes. I see that the city of Margate has been improving a lot of the parts. Im sad to see the old playground go that my daughter once played on but Im very happy to see the progress and a new playground come in for the Next Generation. This little Park is a beautiful place four friends family children enjoy. Many birthday parties Ive done here. I look at this little park and smile it brings a lot of memories to my heart. I hope it makes many more people happy memories.

It is well kaput. Who ever have the responsibility of keeping it clean, they ore doing a good job.

It is okay and a fun place to play, you cannot bring pets. And you have to pay the city to play in the soccer field after they have free tennis courts and basketball, volleyball also.

My kids have always loved this park. It has a nice playground, walking trail, courts, game room, and most important clean restrooms

This is a nice size park. Basketball court adult and kid friendly volleyball court. Nice grassy area with small hills. Plenty of benches and pavillions. There are bathrooms and water fountains on the premise. Plenty of parking. Walking trail is easy to walk. Tiny town is cute for the little ones.

Weird set up. I could find s pavilion. It was way in the back directly behind another family party. I felt like I was interrupting their party because I had to cross through to the other pavilion. Other than that, nice park for kids to play.

I have been visiting this park for over 10 yrs absolutely love it.

My daughter loved it here and Ive come here since I was a kid. Wide open space, huge park with 8 swings and three climbing structures with slides in small medium and large, either 3 or 4 pavilions that you can rent out if needed, an exercise trail with various strength training stops with instructions, 2 basketball courts, tons of parking, restrooms, and a building with games inside. Awesome place for people of all ages and for parties. On they have grills by the pavilions too.

With an half a mile jogging/walking trail it is a nice exercise spot in the evening. It is completed with kids playground, basketball courts, tennis court and a mini soccer field. I decent cozy spot to just come and relax with Gazebos if you are not exercising.
