I was coming in late from a road trip on work and they answered the phone with care and kindness. I been on the road all day and needed to eat and it was awesome! Service and hospitality! Itll be my point of interests when here.

Bartenders are the best. Food is always delicious and it feels like we are just hanging out with family.

Having worked in multiple places that have served most Of what is offered on overseas menu (be it much greater quality) I can honestly say that this place is strictly a tourist trap. If you are coming to the keys for a memorable meal in mind, this is certainly not the place for you. After having to ask the phone attendant multiple questions to which she had no answer and had to reveal that she was “new” and did not know and ask, Everything that showed up was less than anything she attempted to describe. Please don’t waste your time here.

The food is awesome . They really have amazing customer service specially the delivery system based on Covid. Amber was patient and extremely patient in dealing with a confusion and handled it like a pro. Loved the food al items and sauces and the tortilla chips were fresh and amazing. Overall ordering again very soon and go to now. Thanks

We were a party of 11. 7 adults 4 kids. ALL the food came out cold. We went there because of the famous tacos and left feeling like they should be anything but famous. Worlds coldest taco. That they win the award for, for sure! 9 out of 11 ordered the tacos and ALL the tacos were cold. The waitress didnt even know whose tacos belonged to who. I didnt even eat mine!. Nor did I want to send them back because I was over it at that point. But my best friend did send them back because they were cold, and the waitress came back with her cold tacos and said chef wouldnt reheat them. It wasnt until her husband chimed in and said they needed to make her new tacos. Only then did they make the tacos. Glad I didnt send mine back, because with the way the chef responded to basically saying she had to eat cold tacos my husband would not have been having that either!! I was unimpressed with the place as a whole.

Mexican Monday is fantastic. Great food reasonable drinks great atmosphere.

Food was not edible and the waitress was very slow. Don’t waste your time eating here. It may be satisfactory as a drinking establishment.

Live music, great food, and cold drinks! Pretzel with beer cheese and calamari tasted terrific. They have corn-hole boards and friendly staff.

I wish I could give the place no stars. They had open signs up and flags but when you get there they are mostly closed. Parking Situation was very hard to understand. We finally parked and was yelled at by one of the employees. She had dark hair and glasses. Definitely the worst customer service.lol. Never been yelled at for attempting to come in a place that says open. Customer beware!

My wife and I are here on vacation and found this place online. It was close to where we were staying so we decided to check it out for dinner. I had the shrimp tacos and my wife had a burger. Food was awesome! So good! Service was too notch, people were friendly and treated us great. We will be back. The best meal Ive had all week thus far. Good beer on tap, awesome at atmosphere and clean bar. We will be back for sure! Keep up the good work!!! Worth every penny.

Sent over by locals to try their conch bites which were a good calamari like treat, majority of conch in the keys are imported in by the Bahamas, also tried the key shrimp which were quite flavorful, walked in on happy hour and the 2 appetizers cost 16$

You wouldn’t suspect such a great spot exists from the outside. Lousy street appeal on a busy road. But inside, a beautiful bar with a a thin strip of ice surface along each bar to keep your drinks cold (if they last that long) very cool! Outside is a casual backyard bar, with every local character imaginable. Stellar food. The Irish nachos were sinfully amazing. Have the edamame pods, they have a nice sticky Teriyaki sauce.

Definitely seemed to be a locals bar which I actually normally like when I travel. However this places vibe was not the uplifting wanna dance kind like I thought it would be and that’s why I went there. Maybe it was the night. My grilled cheese was good and they had Miller Lite, Heinz ketchup and siracha so that’s always a plus in my book! That actually earned them an extra star. Otherwise a 3 for sure.

I had was fresh Cobia,I asked for what was fresh, It was a big slice delicious, still 17.00 for that on a saled but well worth it .The bartenders were nice and gourgous, The fish was a nice serving and I got it grilled it was just rt . Game was on place was packed . Nice big piece of fish after living here they just keep getting better and better best corn and chimichanga iv ever had in my life, not to mention the amazing blues they had on thusday. The food was so good today im adding a star

We went here during the Kentucky Derby. The place was packed with people all having a great time. The place is a little rustic looking, but right in line with the style you expect down here. Great food, great service. Highly recommended.

I had the opportunity to dine here today. John was my server and was absolutely outstanding. Everything from the taste of the water to the taste of the bread and butter there that they immediately served was amazing. I ordered the grilled mahi-mahi which was outstanding and the vegetable side and the Caesar salad were also fantastic. What a great experience. John many thanks for spoiling me really appreciate it - see you next time.

The long island iced tea was delicious and strong. Ordered blackened grouper sandwhich. Could of had more fish on the sandwhich and more pepper or spice. Fries were very good and well seasoned. Worse part was how expensive it was. Tenelle was very good.

Basic menu, and not many frills. All in all was very good. Not a lot of seafood choices however.

Been coming to the keys for 30 years..First time at Overseas Pub and Grill.Went for lunch and beer. Had a great bartender. Jordan was the best! Food was delicious, came out in a timely manner, service was spot on, laid back atmosphere. The restrooms were updated and very clean. Prices are about the same as anywhere else in the keys. (Its a tourist/vacation spot.)Highly recommend. Will be back!

Jordan is TERRIBLE. Will never go back when he is working. Did not tip him enough and he kicked us out. It was just two of us, myself and my friend that was in town and never been here before. The only thing he said to us was that you need to leave before i call the cops. Asked why and he said because you are not tipping enough.

They have great food there and the beer is cold! Staff fun and friendly. Have gone back love the place.

The food was very good. The wait staff was a little untrained. He was very polite and attentive though. We came in for lunch and it was not very busy due to a festival down the read. Overall a good experience.

Been here a week and this is the worst meal we have had. Website shows broasted chicken and prime rib(on Friday). Didn’t have either. Still stayed. Friend ordered flank steak and she received steak bites. Wife ordered ribs and they were boiled and fatty. I ordered burger and it came out well done. Wouldn’t recommend this place sorry. Also waitress knew nothing regarding menu.

This place is a crown jewel of bar food. From the ginormous fresh pretzel with beer cheese to the bang bang shrimp perfection you will be surprised by the great flavors. Living close by is definitely a plus.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Ridiculously poor service. We had a bigger party and waited for over 2 hours for our good but COLD food that was obviously sitting too long. The food with sauces or gravy never came out when we asked for them. The waitress and manager were unapologetic when it came to the experience and did not care in the least about any of it. All in all, the food had lots of potential and the bathrooms were nice and clean.

We picked this place based upon their menu on their website. Unfortunately, their website is outdated. The prices on the actual menus were significantly higher. We decided to try the seafood over cheese ravioli in a proventcal sauce. It was so spicy that it should have been listed as seafood Fra Diablo. We had to send it back and tried their crab cakes.The crab cakes were large but appeared to be fried. I think that they would have been better if they were baked instead.

This place is good. They are willing to try to make something you want, but most of the food are already prepared. Unfortunately, they are not very vegan friendly, there isnt any vegan burgers, wraps or bowl. However there service are great and friendly. They will accommodate you with change the channels to something you want to see. Bartenders are on their toes watching to see if you need something.

I enjoy happy hour. The beer an drink selections are fantastic. The menu has changed somewhat but is excellent. Servers are really great.

Great place!! Thrilled to see it restored and doing well. My dad lived in Marathon in the 1950s and played in a band who performed frequently at the Overseas. It was a hopping place back then. One night a cute co-ed came in the bar and it was love at first sight. My mom and dad were married for almost 50 years after meeting there. So l love the place & am grateful to the OConnells. On a recent visit to Marathon, we had lunch there and the food was outstanding! Andy, the bartender/server was welcoming and friendly and did a great job. We will go back every time we are in town. So much fun too!!

Poor service. We waited for over two hours to get our food. The server seemed to care little about our experience or the quality of our food. When asked to get more drinks or sauces, she never returned with them. Would not recommend for bigger parties of people. Overall food was good but cold and the bathrooms were nice. Maybe they treat locals better than visitors.

I love the Overseas Pub & Grill in Marathon, Florida. This was my ‘chomping grounds’ the entire year I lived in Marathon. The pool table is well maintained and recently had the felt replaced (Oct 2017). I especially love the atmosphere- the staff are very friendly and will remember your name once you become a ‘regular’.The patrons that frequent the place are always nice too; this is a great place to meet after work and relax with a group of friends. Open, airy, clean and relaxing. I look forward to going back next year.

Service was good. The food was very good. Oysters were fresh and the fish and chips were excellent. The fish was fresh and crispy and no overly breaded. Im from NJ, where we have a lot of Irish pubs and places that serve fish and chips and the fish and chips I has at overseas was the best I ever had.

GREAT beer selection. GREAT outdoor seating. Love the band acts on the weekends. Decent food with a broad variety of it - mostly typical America fare, and service that is generally pretty good/though hit or miss particularly in the morning. Really, a fun place, and well be back again.
