Food was VERY good, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Will go again when we get back to the Keys.

This has to be the best food in Marathon....if you have not been here you definitely have to stop....outstanding job. 5 stars across the board.

We brought our catch Yellow Tail Snappers and they turned them into the dish pictured. The staff was great, and friendly. Our waitress suggested different ways for them to fix our fish, so we went with the 3 out of 4 ways she suggested.THANK YOU for a Job Well Done.

My 14 year old sons favorite in Marathon is back and we are all glad! Friendly service and very good food. Great variety. Hearing good things about the pizza, well try that next time.

What a great find! We were in Marathon for vacation and panicked when we realized we couldnt watch the Ravens game at our rental. I quickly searched for places we could view the game and found this wonderful establishment. We were greeted as soon as walked in, there were games on all the TVs, we had great food, good drinks and very accommodating employees. We will definitely be back, we couldnt of enjoyed ourselves more-and the Ravens won, it was a win win (and win for you Office fans out there- we all won).

Went there for the 1st time with my girlfriend. Didnt know which beer to choose. They brought me 2 samples, 1 of which was the recommendation from the owner (iguana bait). Loved it. My girlfriend loved the food. Will definitely come back again.

Was looking for a hood place to eat. This place has the best foods. We got burgers and steak subs. Very very good. Also a huge portion of fries that are also delcious. Recommend going and checking this place out. Friendly service also

We had an excellent lunch at Marathon Grill. I had the crab cake sandwich - excellent! And Im from Maryland.

They offer a wide selection of craft beers, nice menu to choose from and on Fridays they have Prime Rib from 4:00 till ? Both Queen and king cuts available. Kinda quaint place to hang out. Plenty of TV’s for the games. Stop by and give it a try.Please hit “Like” if this was helpful. Thanks.

This place feels dirty. Both our wine glasses had old red wine in them. They waitress said they are all like that. The metal tray holding my tacos looked grimy. I think the food is probably good here, but not worth the contamination risk for me. BTW, they charged for the wine even though we would not drink it...

Strange location in a strip mall. The waitress was super friendly. Food and drinks were good. The fresh Mahi was excellent. Burger was standard, but at least not overcooked.

Great food late night. I was shocked. I had black and blue prime rib amazing. Even the potato was perfect. My girl had scallops she was impressed. Do not pass this place up. A+++

They have the best potato salad we have ever had, wish we knew the secret. Any of the soup if fantastic. Our kid even loved the mac-n-cheese. We ate here multiple times on our trip it was so good. Definitely a hidden gem.

Food was great, had the Ahi Tuna and the pear salad. Very tasty, wait was kind of long (35¢ wing Thursday) when I finally got sat waiter came and said I dont know why they sat you in my section, Im not taking anymore tables as he started helping a large party that came in AFTER me. Ended up moving to the bar and the bartender was great and attentive unlike the waiter. They must have been short staffed because a few tables left since no one came to even take drink orders.

Goods reviews lead us to Marathon Grill. Pulling up in the parking lot put a bit of doubt in us as the facade is quite plain and unassuming. Our salad was very good as they make many of their own dressings. The ribs and patty melt were very good as was the key lime pie and carrot cake. Our server Amanda was pleasant and attentive. Much like the book analogy, dont let the building facade fool you, we will return.

This is our go to place for a great meal in comfortable surroundings. They have added the chicken pot pie back to the menu, so perfect for a cool night meal.

April was a great waitress, helped us to decide from the many options on the menu. Bang bang shrimp and lobster rueben both delicious!! Potato salad was great, wish our trip wasnt so short, this place is highly recommended.

This is a nice little tucked-away place off the Overseas Hwy at Marathon Key and a good stop. They feature local pours on tap, decent food, laid-back atmosphere and plenty of parking. Sports Bar.

This place is amazing, been in the keys for two days and this was the best food I’ve had. Their grouper is cooked perfectly and the calamari as well. It’s really hard to find well cooked calamari, and they nailed it. Also the pulled pork sliders are amazing and full of flavor!

Definitely a must if your anywhere close to Marathon Florida. Atmosphere, food and drinks were all great. We had the blackened tuna bits, blackened mahi-mahi sandwich and shrimp cocktail. It was all amazing. Service was outstanding also. This grill needs more advertisement out by the main road. Didn’t know it was there if I hadn’t looked up google reviews.

Horrible service (no service for the first half hour), badly made cocktails(when you got them)and high prices. Wheres bar rescue? Go to ss wreck or island fish company!

There was only 1 server. Took 20 minutes to receive our drinks, but the bartender had no customers so I dont inderstand that. It took 30 minutes before she took our food order. And then we waited another 40 minutes for our food. Not impressed at all. At least 3 tables came in after us and had their food before us. No one has asked us if we wanted refills at all.

Love the food and early bird specials but cant tolerate the excessively loud music. I go home with a headache everytime! No more! Please post if you have any non music nights!

Great Happy Hour menu (4-6pm and again from 10-midnight), always great service but particularly Chris is on point, how do you stay so friendly til midnight!? My family visiting from out of town felt at home with your service! Taco Tuesday is terrific and the Pot Pies are perfect! Close with their signature Key Lime Pies!

I agree with a previous reviewer; this is a hidden gem. Its at the back of a non-descript strip of shops. As soon as you step inside, its so much more than expected. Great food, great beer selection, great service. Good prices. Highly recommended. Trip the blackened tuna bites, they are fantastic.

I had one of the best meals of my life here. The Lobster Mac and Cheese, is insane and the Ruby Red Cosmo is a sweet and sour drink that is amaze. We loved the trivia contest and had a blast! Its our first time on vacation in Marathon and we will definitely be back! Thank you!

Very sloppy nachos big chunks of red onions on it and tomatoes.wings barely had any sauce. The waitress had the nerve to get upset bc I didnt like the nachos. We also had to get are own napkins bc she never bought any.Will never go there again.

Make sure you get there in time for happy hour, the discounted appetizers were excellent (blackened tuna bites, fish dip, conch fritters), main course wise we had the mahi sandwich, seafood quesadilla, grouper bites, and the blackened blue salad all of which was excellent, they were well prepared, cooked, and presented with ample portions.We had excellent service from April!. Food was great. Service was bad. They need to check the chairs and tables. There was a split in one of the chairs we were using. When one of us sat down, the split tore through his pants. No compensation for it either.

Love it! The bartender was the cook and a wonderful entertainer. He was singing and laughing with us. I felt very welcomed and will be back!

Guys Ive been coming here for a long time and I have never been disappointed ever! When you get food like this photo and this is the chicken parm which is as big as my hand cooked to perfection you cannot ask anything better and the owner is a hard-working man who owns multiple businesses and always is on point about all of them I have nothing ever to say bad about this restaurant! And Amanda is the effing bomb straight up straight forward hard-working young woman quick to the T on the phone she deserves a raise or a pat on the back

It’s Not the Ale house and we’re sitting here starving, while the confused server socializes and takes breaks.I wonder what this place will be called next year.My wife asked for water n lemon. It took forever to get water.If she ever shows up with the food, we’re trying for the lemon again.

Great place but hidden away at the back of an open mall so you have to look for it. Great happy hour for drinks. Fabulous food every time we ate there. Bonus is 2 for one meals between 4 and 6 (weekdays at least, not sure about weekends). We each had steak and scallops. The steak was cut with a fork tender and cooked rare exactly as we asked. The three huge tender scallops were amazing. Only complaint...not crazy about sweet potato mash as a side...too sweet for us. Would have been OK without the added sugar, then we could have just added butter or salt. Other vegys were great though. Both meals were $18.99 but of course one was free. What a deal. Highly recommend this spot

Arrived in Marathon Key in March, 2018 around 10:00pm and family had not had dinner. Found Marathon Grill and Ale House. Food and service was great. Diverse menu. Clean establishment. Multiple TVs. Will definitely Be there again to try their beer selection. This was a Great way to start our Florida Keys Vacation.

Food was delicious. We went on Saturday night so they had a local band playing which was nice. I highly recommend the Orange Crush drink.

Horrible experience overall if I could give this place zero stars I would. It was a very disappointing that our meals took over an hour to be cooked. Not only were we visiting but we were celebrating my birthday it was one to never forget because of how horrible the service was.Please don’t waste your time and money coming here.

It was food was alright but overall very disorganized. They have several version of the menu to hand out that arent updated ordered several different itemd to be told that it actually wasnt on the menu any longer, made ordering very frustrating changing out our orders.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer on the way to Key West. They had a great selection of draft beer. Delicious soft pretzels and fish tacos. Worth stopping for a visit.

This is by far my worst experience ever. Our food was all cold, conch fritters were raw, black and blue sandwich was cold and the blue cheese was mushy blue cheese dip out of a can. 7 peopla go for good food and we were served garbage.Then to add to it at the very end after we complained they decided to add a $28 dollar gratuity. Our garbage meal cost $201.48 and it wasnt worth $50 bucks. This place is as nasty as it gets. Dont waste your money on this f-ing place.

An unexpected diamond in the rough seeing as it is nestled in a basic, unassuming strip mall. Dont let the looks fool you. It is classy inside (dark wooden tables and leather chairs) with great food and brews. Plenty of tvs for following sports and news.

Had the best coconut shrimp Ive ever had. Came with sweet potato fries and a rum sauce. High at 19 but comparable to the rest of the keys.

Poor service. Waitress had to ask someone every question we had. We were seated at 545 and given the early bird special menu. So I obviously she felt we could get it. The waitress took a long time to take our order. Then we were not given the early bird special be cause our order went in at 607.The sign clearly says if you are seated by 545 you get the early bird. Manager was arguementative when this was discussed. We will not go back or recommend!

Friends had to go for wing night... got wings only to eat so cant comment on any of the other food. I am not a chicken wing aficionado by any means but the wing I had was tasty (friends seemed to enjoy them). It is an ale house and I do drink beer but really just wanted a glass of wine. They were out of the two wine choices on the menu, a bit of a bummer.It was a good vibe! A lot of people in the place and our server was on top of it. Ill return when Im in Marathon and in the mood for a beer on wing night. Cheers.

Great Place. Burgers are OUTSTANDING!!!! And great management!!! I left my debit card at the bar, and I live out of town. When I got back home I realized I left my debit card at the bar the night before. I called to get my card and Jim (the General Manager) was super courteous and kindly mailed my card back to me .
