Every show is over sold, there is no room to move, and it take about a year to get a drink from the bar. I dont know what happened to the sound system, shows at least used to sound great, but that is no longer the case. If I see a band that I want to see is playing here, i skip it.

Favorite place for concerts, it not down town, free parking, and its decent size, two levels. Been to more concerts here than anywhere. Im actually going to a concert there in less than a month. 10-8-20, Tech N9ne and Rittz, cant wait!

Went to see Hippie Sabatoge, an all ages event. Great stage set up. We were brought onto the stage. Womens restrooms have many stalls and the mirrors have great lighting. Speakers were extremely loud, and you can feel the base vibrating through your body. I personally highly suggest bringing your own ear plugs.

I like this venue, the only thing that sucks is general admission makes it very difficult to see if your short like me. You have to weasel your way though the crowd a bit to be able to see, especially if its packed. The Marilyn Manson concert was amazing though!

Went to the Myth earlier this week to see my favorite band, and can honestly say I probably wont be back at this venue. The building itself wasnt bad, but the clientele was atrocious. I lost count of how many times I got a cloud of marijuana smoke blown in my face, or pushed/shoved by a group of drunks, or had my view of the stage obscured by a dating couple who cared more about making out than watching the show. Id always heard that Myth had a sketchy reputation but I didnt believe it until that night. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff were great to me, and the stage itself was awesome.

Went there to see Hairball. The liked the venue. Its close to home, you dont have the traffic like downtown, and it wasnt super packed. I wish they had a couple of seating opportunities though. Maybe they do during other events.

Saw All Time Low, Dashboard Confessional, and Gnash on 8/3/18. Amazing! Nice venue! Would definitely go back! Friendly and helpful staff.

Very cool venue. Up close and personal. Not a bad seat in the house. Been back several times.

Watched a concert from the suites and it was awesome. Didnt have to wait in the huge general admission line to get in. The suites have their own bar and bathroom plus the one of the best seats in the house.

Absolute best show Ive seen in 3 years. The employees,sound,bands were great.

Nice place to see a concert. Parking can be an issue but there is a mall close by and a Best Buy parking lot that can be used.

Great intimate venue! Good view no matter where you sit or stand.

I really like the smaller venues, I attend over 100 concerts a year, several at The Myth, and it sounds great, your able to smoke on the patio between bands, and its reasonably priced

Edit: use cash when purchasing anything from here! My card was stolen and used here, called Myth multiple times and left voicemails with no return calls. When my bank finally pulled money from Myths account and gave it back to me a Manager at the Myth got back to me within a day. How pathetic. They lost money but its not on me Ive seen a few country artists, Hollywood Undead, Dashboard Confessional, and All Time Low at this venue. The ladies restroom with multiple stalls for a less wait time and large free parking lot is a huge convenience to buying tickets here. The prices at the bar are what is expected for this time of venue, pricey. The sound and light quality is always great, at every show. It is standing room only, unless you pay more for the VIP rooms. This venue is also wheelchair accessible.

Love bands at small venues. Sounded good. Close to band. Lots of bathrooms & bars so no lines

I really enjoyed this venue a lot. There isnt a bad seat in the house. You have a good view from everywhere and feel close to the performers the whole time. The staff seemed stoked to be there, and the drinks werent too expensive for a venue like this. Parking was also easy, which is often seems to be a rarity at shows.

Great place to go. I went to see Skillet on October 8. Fantastic experience. Place was nice and clean from my experience. Im only giving it 4 Stars because the parking lot really needs an overhaul.

It was a beautiful club! Nice bars. Merch area and nice general admission floor! Couches to sit on too! I had a blast at DIO hologram concert!

Nice venue. Sucks for short people but I dont have that problem my friends do. Can get really crowded. Still not sure how upstairs access works and who can go up there and who cant. Great bar staff.

Great venue. Plenty of viewing angles and space for moshing if youre into that. I felt the sound was great and all employees that I had the pleasure of interacting with were pleasant.

The concert was great but drinks were very expensive. The wind chill after the concert was -20 degrees and I was pushed outside the door to wait for my cab because I was taking up space. Never will go here again. Awful staff.

Myth is one of the best venues for live music. I only wish they let more metal artists play there.

Its not very good on the atmosphere... its like standing at a friends keg party, but with slow service. nobody is unkind, its just an odd feeling all around. its kinda messy with empties littered everywhere, no soap and dirty bathrooms. sorry Myth!

Awesome venue. Especially for not a downtown venue. Cant wait to go back for another concert here!! Cities Gives Back 2nd Annual Concert in my future!! Hope they are here again for that charity event!

I seen tech9 in concert on the 28th of nov. The myth was amazing. Easy parking . Plus you are aloud to smoke outside during the concert.

Best concert place I have ever been to the concert was great go to this place if you want to go to one its worth whatever amount of money.

Saw Baby Metal. The audience was a wide group and we brought our 10 y/o. Staff is great even with kids. The parking lot is in need of repair but the facility is clean and well planned.

This place is great and not, at the same time. Nice venue, but bring located in a suburban shopping center is weird. Also, 9 bucks for a tall boy of cheap beer?! Thats nuts!!

The sound isnt great sometimes, but there are usually good views and a large floor. However the upstairs may be closed.

DaBaby concert was amazing other events as well. Only suggestion get rid of All ages events even 18+ works. Im not trying to party with kids.

Great first concert with NF!!!! It was amazing sitting here since 2P.M, went back about a year later to his perception concert! Front row again with VIP tickets this time didn’t have to sit outside for long! Great hearing him again and can’t wait for next time love his music! And what he does for people! So much motivation from what he writes and sings about! Keep doing what you do my man

I went to a concert at this venue.It was pretty nice on the inside and outside. Inside I couldnt really check out much due to how many people were at the venue.

Seeing Korn was great! Kinda weird to throw a band like Kings bounty (who?) In before them though

Saw Sting here 3/2/17. Nice intimate venue; great view from the balcony rail. Much like First Ave but a bit larger. Bars everywhere, even at the end of the GA balcony area, but at $8-9 per mixed drink youre better off pre-gaming elsewhere to save some dough.

The venue had great sound and you can get close to the band. The place was a bit run down as the sign on the outside was damaged. But this did not distract from the show.

Fun environment. I have so much fun at the concerts we go to here. Plus its super nice having the parking on site and not have to find and pay for parking elsewhere.

The music was amazing now I can put a face with my favorite songs thank you.

Myth is a fun place to come dance the night away with friends! That being said...the venue itself is pretty run down in mg opinion. Grimy floors, sticky everything, and super dirty/messy bathrooms. Could be better

Its a small venue, so it was wall-to-wall people but we didnt wait in line too long, even though the line was really long. Once the doors opened, they moved people in as quickly as they could.

Many problems..... parking was full but still let people in instead of diverting. Be prepared for a full pat down. Computer went down after first scan of ticket then was made to wait for 5 minutes while the whole world went by. I went to look for places to go and was scolded by bouncer at the stairs. It is great venue for concerts if you can past the the issues I had.

Went to kdwb star party last weekend! It was a great time. Great atmosphere, but the sound quality seemed to go in and out occasionally, mostly it was hard to hear the artists at times. It is a very small venue as well so that may be why. Overall, pretty cool place!

It was a grt place for boxing n musical events. But terrible place for clubbing. That’s why they shut the clubbing down.

The Myth gets some good bands at a reasonable price. They have a good sound system.

Nice venue with good sound. The night we went it was cold and windy but they only had 2 doors open instead of all 4. The line took 40 min. Going to a concert where there is only standing you really dont want to have to wear or hang onto a heavy jacket but you dont want to freeze either. It was an all ages but it really isnt unless your kids are used to dealing with drunks. The show was fantastic and the price was great. Maybe a cop or 2 on site would help.

This was a great venue for a concert! Highly recommend going here, especially since its one of the only places in the Twin Cities with free parking. Aside from that, the atmosphere is great and the sound quality is spectacular. If you want to be in the crowd, you can be on ground-level with them. If you prefer a view from above, there is plenty of space in the suites above the crowds.

Saw Tech here last weekend, had a blast. I like concerts here, u can get up close to the stage. There are no seats unless u pay for VIP & usually thats on the sides of stage or 2nd floor, I prefer general admission. The lines for drinks is long & I feel there should be more bartenders, there were only 3 ladies working for the tech concert which means 3 lines of at least 30 people in each line. There is a smoking area facing the mall but u cant come & go out the front door, once in your in until u want to leave. Sound is good, security is on top of things as well. The security team does concerts throughout the twin cities, Ive seen them at other concerts. You do get patted down before entering venue. Parking is ok as long as u get there early otherwise youll end up parking at the mall.

First time to this venue and it was so much fun (went to see Dirty Honey, Alterbridge and Skillet). Intimate venue, general admission with some VIP areas, two levels. Acoustics were good for the kind of venue. Reminiscent of the former nightclub in Mpls, The Quest.

Security is ALWAYS rude! The layout makes it hard to enter and leave the crowd. No re-entry. The bars always have VERY long lines. But I have many fond memories of going to Tech N9ne shows here for 5+ years, so it’s not too shabby. Parking lot fills up quick unless you get there hours before the show. You can park at the mall which isn’t too far. And it’s in maplewood, so probably a far drive for many people. Though I do enjoy not being right downtown for a concert!

Nice venue with a decent staff. The concert we attended they seemed to have over sold the tickets and it was extremely crowded but the atmosphere was still great. Not as bad as some people make it out to be. Id definitely go back.

Best Experiance. Saw Machine Gun Kelly here for my first concert and had the best time. If youre in the mosh pit prepare to get hot. Lights are cool, stage is cool, like the fact if you bring in your ID you can drink. Fabulous place will definetly be seeing more shows here!

I have seen a few shows here. It’s a pretty nice venue. One of the best in Minnesota. It is pretty small for some artists it brings in which can make it a bit overcrowded but other than that it’s a great venue.

Needs better viewing to see stuff for small people but always good to come to a show here.

Had an awesome time seeing Quinn XCII here! The layout of the venue was perfect to include everyone in on the experience! Would definitely go back to see another show!

Nice place need some improvement I think they can do it there was this one guy there that was really cool helping out in the parking lot and inside you can tell he was really professional I thought he was a under cover cop being he had a suburban with lights that I thought was cool I seen him before he dose a lot of celebrity protection work when they come the night clubs look that guy up I give him 5 starts

Pretty great space and build and sound but only downside is very expensive drinks. But the bartender were cool and efficient

At a Avatar / BabyMetal concert there now. Bands are great but Myth itself ruined this concert. The Audio is trash sound sometimes peaks when notes are played. Bass it to high cant hear lyrics and its overall muddy.Got worse since I was last here.Do not visit here for concerts. Sad they turned a band that has the best concert experience(al la Northern Invasion ~2 years ago) into trash.

Great venue! Standard prices for drinks 8-10 dollars, lots of overflow parking in maplewood mall and bestbuy lot! I remember when this place was the worlds largest shoe store, it used to be a footlocker!!!

Decent venue, good bars, good bathrooms, clean, and modern. Sound is ok. Only complaint is that they way over-sell for the venue size, to the point that it is dangerous and unenjoyable.

Not a bad venue. Drinks are decent and decently prices. The audio wasnt the greatest, but it was intimate enough that it was still enjoyable.

Bathroom cleanliness has been an issue for me at the shows I have attended. Staff appears to be professional and courteous. I think too many people are allowed to get stupid drunk which has taken away from my enjoyment on a couple of occasions. Will continue to go to shows here.

Lil skies concert was the time of my life ️ definitely a good set up, not a bad spot anywhere

We went to the Deftones show on 8-16 and although the band was amazing, the venue itself is not that great. Especially if you arent that tall, then you have no chance of actually seeing the artists perform.

The Venue was great, the staff crew was incredible and very organized the best part of its they have free parking lot

Its a decent venue for bands. Sight lines are good. There are three bars, so service was good. But the acoustics arent very good. The whole space is a large reverberant room.

I have been to the Myth many times for multiple concerts. For being such a small venue it has excellent sound. I know the ticket prices are generally dictated by the performer but the prices at the Myth have always been reasonable. Its not too far out of the Cities. I actually prefer going to a venue outside Minneapolis and Saint Paul. That way you dont have to deal with downtown traffic after a concert.

Everytime I go there its a pleasing experience and theres always good spots even in the general area

Picked up some concert tickets with the greatest of ease. I love not paying those ridiculous ticket fees. Their ticket office is open every Saturday from 12PM-4PM. You end up saving about $13/ticket in service fees by buying them at the box office. That adds up fast when purchasing multiple tickets. Well worth it to buy in person from the box office and skip the middle man!

Had an amazing night at Myth. Went to Jacksonville on vacation and went to Myth for the first time and our bartender Jensine was amazing. Plus her drinks were well made. Love her!! You have to go check her out
