Scored a sewing machine after visiting a local Fabric store that advertised machines were in stock & available for pick up today... their shelves were empty! I drove 40 miles & I have a new favorite place to shop for all my crafting needs!

Store is ok- but the bathroom was pretty bad... not sure when they actually cleaned in there...and I mean more then just the toilets. It could use some attention.

Lots of products, seasonal merchandise as well as a large kids items section. I always find what I need here.

Waited in line easily 10 minutes with customers flooding the registers but no one came up to assist the one cashier with 5 people in line.

Such cute Halloween decor out!!!

Spot on as usual. Helpful and available folks. No grommets, though. Annoying.

Found exactly what I was looking for and extremely friendly staff. First time there will be returning.

Michael is okay but JoAnns Fabrics is better than them.Sorry

Clean well managed, not to busy with people.

Great places friendly employees thank you

Go here when you have a little bit of time to actually look around. Just like any good thrift store or yard sale, the good stuff is a little hard to find. Very organized, yet overly stocked aisles.

I have had several bad experiences at this location and am finally done. I will go to Woodbury & Roseville but stay away from Maplewood!! “No we don’t do that” are their favorite words & I actually watched a rude cashier almost make a customer cry because she berated her for not having a receipt. It went on for almost 15 minutes & then she proceeded to talk about her to the next few customers in line. I would have left but was in a long line & didn’t want to make people move so I could make a quick exit!! I called the store to describe her behavior and yet she continued to be there each time I returned. Obviously this is acceptable to this store. Joanns lets you use multiple coupons and when I brought that up to the cashier and that they used to let you use more than one coupon, she said “that’s why they are filing bankruptcy” . . . What an unprofessional response!!! Think twice about Maplewood Michaels!

Good sized craft store, can find most crafting items.

Amazing service, All the associates were Incredibly knowledgeable!!! Thanks to All!!

Great place fun to shop there

Great stuff. Love it.

This Michaels store on White Bear Ave is clean and well stocked. The cashier was efficient and so personable. Wishing I could remember her name to give her recognition (1/11/20 at 5 pm). Always enjoy shopping at Michaels!

It was very crowded, but that is understandable at Christmas time. The store was well organized and clean. They had everything I needed and so much more. The line was long but they had a smart process to speed up check out. This was my first time here and I will be back!

I feel pretty safe shopping at Michaels.

Knowledgeable and friendly customer service reps when I asked for a price check, later when I asked if a particular childrens paint was non-toxic. We read the label together and she saw the description I had missed. Very cheerful atmosphere with reasonable pricing, clean, and organized. Excellent checkout service and I plan to return

What we wanted was a bit picked over but still was able find what we needed to make the project work!

The workers are always nice

Great place to shop! Lots of things for any artist out there.

50 percent off fall decor

Very helpful found everything I needed

The staff was very helpful.

Lots of stuff, if you know what youre looking for

Needed to return things that didnt work for my project. Wasnt able to have the money put back on my bank card, which I really needed. But other than that it went well. A quick, easy return.

Great place to go shop.

I prefer JoAnns but it has its ups

This place has everything you need.

Everytime Im here, there are always employees that are more than helpful to find what I am looking for. This place is clean and well organized as well. Lots of things to look at in here that will give you ideas. This is the closest Michaels to me so this is the one I go to. Great place.

Didnt find what I was looking for. Went to another Michaels and found it.

It is just a fun store

Expensive, coupons are not what they used to be, shelves are empty not stocked cant find what I went in for

They were very helpful. Getting a sewing machine and elastic. Definetly shopping here more

Had what I needed. Had a great experience. Plus, I was given a coupon worth 40% off on my next visit. As long as I visit within the next thirty days.

Beautiful place nice and clean

Called the store looking for a pan they had it and put it on hold for me at the front of the store. When I got there she told me they have a coupon so I can save some money. Thanks ladies. PS my instant pot cheesecake was amazing.

Lots of great choices!!

Didnt have what I was looking for still nice store though

One of my favorite locations. Nice and friendly staff! Most seem rather knowledgeable. The store is always clean, well organized, and stocked well. My son was in the car using my phone so I didnt have my coupon on me, the sweet cashier looked it up w my phone number and still gave me the coupon. 8$ savings!! She didnt have to do that, but it was very thoughtful! I also like that this location has a Hobby Lobby, and Joannes within a few min drive. So if they dont have what I need I can run to the competition. I stop in a lot for quick trips or long ones.

Lots of great sales items right now

If you take the time to look, youll always find an especially good deal in one of the Clearance bins. Even during the rushed holiday season, the clerks were pleasant and helpful.

Was my 1st time at Michaels. Customer service was excellent. Plus got a 40% off coupon for next time when I visit

The cashier was really nice. I forgot my couons and she had extras, she was so sweet! The staff was vary helpful.

I loved my shopping experience at the Michaels. I found great deals on craft items, jewelry and picture frames. The coupons and the instore sales and clearence items made my shopping experience even better.

Helpful, friendly staff! Great framing service too. They have everything here. Much better than Hobby Lobby just down the street.

Good variety, but a little expensive compared to their biggest competitor.

My experience on the floor was great but once I got to the cashier, he basically said he was too tired to ring and bag my items and that if I want them bagged than I need to bag them myself because he doesnt have enough hands to help me. Right after that, he also said he bet I dont know how many hands he has. I felt really disappointed and discriminating but didnt want to argue with people who hate other skin colors.

Wonderful place. Helpful employees. Quick checkout.

Staff was very helpful on my frame 50% off plus my senior citizen discount

This place has tons of stuff for crafting very well-organized very clean surprisingly inexpensive. With membership you get even more discounts.

A very well organized store with all your needs and very courteous employees that really go out to provide the customer service with 100 percent excellence.

Bathroom was trashy and I informed an associate and she looked like she blew me off. Otherwise the store was clean and shelves were stocked.

Found most of what I needed. The store is a bit crowded and tight in the isles. Shouldve been redone before reopening.

I hate to give out poor ratings. It was 3 pm and Micheals left the following week ad signs up. They refused to honor the sale price, the cashier told me to complain to their main office if I do not like it.

Had a miserable experience with in store pickup.. absolutely rude staff member because he was unable to find my order in the system. I will be making the switch to Amazon and other craft stores. Ive never been treated this poorly by this store before.

Pretty clean store, but no one is ever around to ask a question. Some of the cashiers are great, but some act like they rather be anywhere else.

Great place to get school project tools and supplies and wondredful staff very knowledgeable and helpful staff great stuff for scrap booking they have sawing machines stuff to bake your own cakes and make your own candy and candles lots of sitckers wood signs lots and lots of picture frames and custom frames for everything like football baseballs helmets sports cards stuff for airbrushing the airbrush gun tank paint and lots of paint

Nice selection of frames which is what I was looking for. Seemed to have good variety of craft items and some fun home decor. Parking was good, staff interesting.

Always have good sale, dont forget your coupon.

Easy to get aroundClearance section in more than one place

Love this store

As an artist of course this is my go to art supply store. I always find myself buying things I dont really need, but definitely want. A lot of their art supplies are very high end and theirs some that are very affordable. They also have way more than just art supplies! They have frames, yarn, seasonal items, fabrics, etc.

Great sales and staff!

Love Michael! I love to walk through and find new craft ideas for my Grandchildren. We purchased the blank puzzles. You can draw whatever you want. Picked up canvas for painting and cross stitch supplies for me.

Clean store, fairly organized, clean bathroom, could use more registers open but they get customers in and out in a fair amount of time

This Michaels is layed out pretty well and the staff is always friendly and helpful when you have ideas and need help finding the stuff you want.

Awesome customer service! Had lots of items to find and employees walked me to each and everyone of them! Great service! Had coupons and cashiers immediately catered to my needs

️️️ Michaels!! I particularly like that don’t express their political views and religious beliefs as a company!!! Always extremely friendly staff!! I loved seeing the display of rainbow decor and accessories for pride weekend!!! My #1 go to arts and crafts supplies store!! Support companies like this one!!!

A fun craft store with a bit of everything. Good science toys for kids. Great art supplies. All is a little more expensive than a big box store. But better quality.

Great projects at good prices

I always enjoy going to Michaels, so such to pick fromLove the place.

I like micheals a lot they have a lot for kids crafts

Difficult to find sales clerk to ask where compasss were located but was helpful the one I did find. No compass that I wanted sold there. Had to look elsewhere....

Friendly employees, they ARE taking Covid-19 precautions, employees wear masks and gloves. Employees are wiping carts, baskets and other surfaces down.

Great place to get your crafty hat on!

Nice craft store. Just plan on waiting in line to check out, never enough cashiers.

Wonderful customer service!

The wide variety of stuff, great deals.

I really enjoyed my experience at Michaels. They have really nice, unique, things for ones home. Really great sales.

GGood

Always has so many fun things to help your creative mind!

Good customer service

Prompt work

Great selection of crafting and scrapbooking supplies. They always have a coupon to use or good sales going on. Great selection of hard to find trending toys.

Open early on Black Friday with friendly staff

Great.

Awesome they have every thing. Staff is the best.

They got great stuff but some of the prices are outrageous.

Always a blast seeing awesome products... Needs more help on the floors. Dont like searching the whole building for someone to answer my questions.

Easy and quick

Wow! There is so much stuff here!! And it’s so much cleaner than its competitor. I was shocked. I couldn’t find exactly what I needed and the prices seem quite a bit higher than other hobby/craft stores but their product and selection seems better based on my first impression!

The best for variety. Not always price. Sign up for and use their email coupons.

Very nice and reasonable place to shop clean store. Does lack customer service no greeting no acknowledgement. Ill go there, again though cause they always have what I need

Nice selection of arts and craft supplies. Ran into a couple of issues where they didnt have enough of the material I wanted so I had to improvise.

Always fun to go shopping see what they have for new supplies. They have art & craft supplies galore, seasonal, picture frames, and floral to name a few.The staff are usually very helpful. The stores host craft days & learning events. Check their website.

Alot of crafty stuff. Good place to buy fake flowers if your a bride to be

Great place to buy things you want to create by yourself.
