Escape from St. Louis

This was such a blast!! Came here with my family, we had such a great time. We did not do as great as we thought we would but we were great sports haha. The lady working was so nice, she was part of the experience. A few of us had never been to an escape room and we are all now planning our next, thank you!

This is one of the most fun escape rooms Ive ever been to! Lisa was an incredible host and although Im from out of town, I plan to come back to STL and go here for my next escape room!

Best Escape Room Ive ever been to! I liked the clever puzzles and unexpected events. The staff were professional and helpful. This Escape Room is definitely the one to try if you visit Saint Louis. I expect even more great things from this Escape Room in the future.

Had an amazing time, room was really fun. A lot to think about and the puzzles were great. Had two groups playing two separate rooms, we all got our and had fun. Lisa was also great, super helpful without taking away the mystery experience.

As a holiday work party we did the Wizard Quest room. This was the first time doing an escape room for all 7 in our group. The lady (unfortunately I dont remember her name) working was great. She spent time going over things and what to expect. The puzzles in this room were well conceived, which took some thought and patience to solve. Our group has already agreed to return to attempt the harder Tomb room.

Did Carnival of the Cosmos and it was fantastic. Room was designed wonderfully and puzzles were challenging but not impossible. Super friendly staff as well. Highly recommend!

Had two groups do two different rooms and we all had a blast. Rooms are designed well. Highly recommend.

Just wonderful! Our daughter chose an escape room for her 10th birthday- her and her friends had an AWESOME time in the wizard room. She did not want my help at all, and the staff was fabulous giving clues and helping the girls along whenever needed! Definitely difficult for 9/10 year olds but the staff made all the difference! She kept it fun and not frustrating. Couldn’t recommend more!!!

I went here for a work event. Lisa was super awesome and fun. We did the tomb, and ended up beating the second place record. It was really enjoyable and I had a lot of favorite parts. Everyone in our group of 9 had a hand in solving at least one puzzle each. Definitely a recommend.

My family loves escape rooms so we’ve been to quite a few. We’ve done two of the rooms at Escape St Louis and they are our favorites. The puzzles are challenging and fun to complete. They use cool tricks to hide the clues. Highly recommend.

We had a great company team builder event at Escape from St. Louis! I would recommend this place for some good fun with family & friends.

Well worth the ticket price! This was one of five escape rooms Ive been to and was probably one of my favorites. We did The Tomb with six people. They have creative clues and very unique, interesting setups. Host was extremely nice, and I would recommend to anyone new or old to escape rooms. Looking forward to going back to try another room!

Great experience! Our group of friends have been to 10+ escape rooms and escape from St Louis is definitely top of our list to come back to. We did the competition room, two different teams start at the same time and are working through the same clues and puzzles in 2 different rooms. What the other team does really doesnt have an impact on your gameplay but it adds another layer for those who are competitive. This would be a great way for a really large party to play and compete within your friend group.The staff was very friendly and helpful. Its great to come to an escape room and have such a warm welcome. We have been to a few places where the puzzles were very good but the staff seemed like they didnt want to be there. Everyone here was very warm and welcoming. Like a goofus I left something behind and they even went out of their way to meet me there to get it back.Finally, a lot of escape rooms are kind of off the beaten path. Their location worked out great for us, there are several places nearby within walking distance to grab a bite to eat afterwards.I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good escape room experience.

This was fun! Had a group of 6. It was fun figuring out the clues and the staff is helpful if you need hints. I would do this again for sure.

Me and 8 other friends went here for a friends birthday. All of our first times. We had a great time, we escaped, and the staff were wonderful. The owners were very helpful.

Had a great experience here last week! Went through The Tomb with a group of six friends. Felt like the perfect number of people to take, although we didnt get out in time. Challenging, creative puzzles I hadnt experienced before.Mainly picked the place since they reserve the whole room for your group even when its not at full occupancy. Definitely a plus to not have to worry about strangers joining your game. Was able to book just one day in advance. Well worth the ticket price, would highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great experience here. We did the murder mystery room and it was like a real life game of clue.

Weve started a sibling tradition of doing an escape room right before Christmas. This was the second year and second location. We chose it because it allowed us to have a group of 10. Checking in was easy, the intro was unique and we escaped the Tomb. We had one item minorly malfunction, but our host fixed it quickly when we asked. They rated the room as difficult and it was definitely not too easy.

I have done three rooms here, and am doing another tomorrow night. This is my groups favorite place to do room escapes. They are friendly, professional, and fun. My favorite part about this place, and the reason that we always go back to this one is that they make it much easier and cheaper to book a whole room. To be honest, doing an escape room with strangers just doesnt sound fun to me in the slightest. It would just make me shy and anxious, and thats just not something I want to do. I am so grateful they allow us to book whole rooms at a reasonable price here.Weve done Ghost Story (now closed - did not escape but still very fun), The Tomb (still open - my fave room weve ever done - we escaped!), Murder at Denbrough Mansion (this is their weakest and probably my least favorite room Ive done overall, but thats okay! - did not escape), and were doing WizardQuest tomorrow. Weve also done two other rooms at other establishments, one in Florida and one here is St. Louis. Escape from St. Louis is pretty consistent in terms of fun, challenge, and cohesion. Everything makes sense, everything is a reasonable jump in logic. When we didnt escape and the solution was explained to us, it made sense.Finally, the best part about this place is that they feature their good-looking dog in all of their advertising and this makes me so happy.

Some parts of the scene are too subtle and meant for specific people. Better clues for all walks of life would appeal to more. But great time, great customer service!

Wow!! This was AWESOME! We did this as a team building exercise and to celebrate a couple promotions in the Leadership team for Mattress Firm and we had so much fun!! Im recommending this place to everyone for any occasion!

My group had a blast. There were 5 of us, and we were able to escape in the hour given despite it being our first escape room.

A good time and the employees are nice. Came here twice and did 2 different rooms, once with friends and once with family. We didnt win the first time but came close. The second time we were actually doing really well but sadly a lot of the components were not functioning as designed. IE wed do the thing we were supposed to do but then the anticipated result would not happen. Had to get the staff involved. Thats the only reason Im giving a 4 star review instead of 5.

Came here with several coworkers as part of our office Christmas party. Had a great time. We managed to escape, but had to use two clues. The whole experience was fun for all of us.

The fact that my coworkers and I didnt strangle each other over the puzzles is a win in my book!

Nice escape room, a little smaller (we did the classroom) than the other escape room we went to. Though this one was a little harder. We escaped with just under 6 minutes to go.

We had a really fun time escaping the room we were in. I really like how theyll never put you with strangers which can make escape impossible.

This was our first time at a place like this, so we found the experience both interesting and at times frustrating (there were clues we couldnt figure out). In the end we were able to escape and afterwards the staff reviewed the tasks with us. It made a lot more sense afterwards, but I think that it is just because we didnt know what to expect. The staff was very nice and the building is clean. It is conveniently located along Manchester Road near several bars and restaurants.

I enjoyed the experience. Went with a large group and it was challenging and a lot of fun.
