Golf course is absolute trash. Management clearly gave up on maintaining of what’s left before the likely sell off for development. It’s unfortunate as it used to be a nice course. There is construction roads running through the center of the course and the back nine is completely different...fairways are poorly marked and no idea where you are supposed to tee off.Good restaurant otherwise it’s zero stars.

Small golf course with only 9 holes. The course was in ok shape. Service from the beverage cart was good but very limited selection. We had fun in the bar after we played and had great service. The menu has been cut down but the food is good.

Just ordered their pizza it was amazing. Great service along with the great pizza. The amount of toppings on it was more than I feel you get from other delivery pizza. We had bacon as a topping they did not skimp on the amount and you could tell it was fresh cook bacon. Best pizza in a long time. The new owners are really trying to make some good updates! I cant wait to see what else they.

Started going to this course a little over a month a good. It is a fun course to play with some challenges.The back nine has an interesting layout but makes for a unique experience and good sight seeing.Prices are reasonable.I plan to be making many more tee times this summer.

Best pizza and great customer experience.Golf course is friendly to an average golfer and challenging enough for experienced golfers. Recent changes to the back nine makes for a longer start with shorter holes to close your round.I have been playing this course for many years.

I really enjoyed coming to this bowling alley, but its kind of hard to find. I have never tried the food there but it smelt good.

Overall a fun golf course - they have a lot of construction around them and some soggy areas. Tee boxes a little beat up. Nice hilly area - love playing it.

I really like this course even though the greens are a bit rough. UPDATED: course is not only being shortened, it is in significant disrepair. A fun short layout still, but will need care to be worthy of visiting. Will update again next time I play here.

Fun family outing. Bowling attendant was patient with children. Electronic scoring. Attendant was willing to print out scores. We went on a rainy afternoon and golf was closed.Bathroom clean. Air hockey and a few arcade games available.Rental shoes were not very comfortable. A fun spot for child birthday.

I agree with earlier review. We went there expecting a par 72 course - AS THEY ARE STILL ADVERTISING ON THEIR WEBSITE. The front 9 was in pretty good shape and I was pretty excited being one under par. Then we flipped the card over and saw all the par threes making this a par 68 course. Kinda took the wind out of my good round! FORGET IT!

You cannot beat the service! The bowling pro shop is the best around too!

I recently bowled the Minneapolis City Open Tournament there, the staff was friendly and helpful, the lanes were in great shape, and the facilities were clean.They have a couple of local craft beers on tap and the food is amazing. I got the lobster macaroni and cheese and it was the absolute best I have ever had. Its $12 price tag is such a steal. Some of my teammates got pizza and burgers and everything was well above our expectations.I live access town but I will be finding a reason to head back over there for the food. They did a fantastic job of hosting for the tournament and their kitchen should be proud of what they are putting out.

Looking forward to golfing again...love the Front 9!

Went to a party there, ceiling was dripping and created a pool of water on the chair, we put a bucket underneath it to catch the water ourselves. Out lane wasnt working, switched to another lane, that one wasnt working either. Lots of waiting for a fix. Employees didnt seem to care, not surprised. Definitely wont go there again.

Fairly affordable course. Low key with a good bar with a good food swlection. Shorting the course makes it friendly for new golfers but not a top choice if you are a serious golf.

Ive been here for weddings. Ive been here for live music. Ive been here for bowling. Ive been here for drinks and dinner. I have enjoyed every visit and I am glad this place is still around and hope it is for some time still. I havent golfed here as its not my sport but Id imagine thats good to since everything else has been.

Called ahead to check on how busy on a rainy Saturday afternoon. She says “come on in! At least 6 lanes open”. Got in line behind a larger party. Took at least 15 min to check them in (they have 1 register). We get to the counter and the lady takes the customer behind us because he only needs to pay. Fine whatever. He’s opening a lane by leaving. The employee tells me she’s not done checking in the party of 9. So I step to side why she helps them again. We finally get back to the counter and she proceeds to tell us there are 3 more customers ahead of us. Like how? How are there 3 people ahead of us when we are standing right there at the counter. With an unknown wait time to check in/out the 3 customers “ahead” it us, we decided to leave. They need more staff and more registers to alleviate wait times. The staff lady seemed very under trained on how to check people in. She kept repeating to the party of 9 that they would have an uneven number of bowlers on their two lines. Uhhh yeah. She said that like 5-6 times to them. Didn’t seem to know how to charge them per lane or per bowler. Very unorganized. Will likely not return.

Was there for an event. It wasnt bad, the event was great but nothing to do with the location. The event food was so-so at best. Steamed veggies were way over done. They seemed to press that this is a wedding destination. I would only book a wedding there if it were my only choice because I failed to plan ahead, they for sure would not be on the top of my list. All and all, I would give them a slightly less than average rating for banquet facilities

I am a regular do to being in a league here. Facilities, bowling and the bar are great. Staff is very friendly and hard working. The biggest downside is understaffing. It is hard to recall a time I have been at Sundance and received timely service.

Seems like they only want the Golfing crowd to be there and spend their money. No longer carry Rail Spirits. Happy Hour is good but after that it is $5 for a cocktail when you include the tax they now tack on. I bowl in a league at Sundance and they will not survive if they do not have reasonable prices that will bring in customers that just want to stop in.

Solid banquet/bar/bowling area. Been here a few times over the last 10-15 years and its solid. Their pizza is surprisingly good too, especially the buffalo chicken pizza.

I live in the near by community. We really like the bowling and golf, but the food services has been awful the past few times we have been in. Last time our kids meals were brought out 30 mins before the rest of our food. Then they changed servers without telling us so we had to ask the bartenders for drinks, silverware and plates. If this doesnt get better, I dont see how the growing community will continue to come. I hope they can figure something out since there are a ton of new homes and families that want to see this place succeed. If it werent for Carly, we wouldnt be coming again.

Had a wedding in October. Be aware of your bill and make sure its accurate!!! Over charged us $900+, caught the inaccuracy the night of the wedding and the GM said he would make it right. We are still looking for that reimbursement of the overcharge. Staff was great but $900+ is a lot!!!

Another normal Friday night league at Sundance. Jam packed for bowling and at the bar. Owners Jody and Pat drinking with Russ the kitchen manager while on duty instead of helping the staff. It’s unfortunate to see a great staff and management team that really care about there’s customer get little to no support from the owners.

Came in for bowling, in the bowling alley.About the alley setup itself, the control panel is really simple and easy to use. There is a wide variety of balls to choose from, great for the kids. The alley and seats were very clean. I really like the fact that there is 2 allays per group of people. Really simple. The scoring is so easy, the machine does it all. The ball prediction system, is really helpful for the beginners. Balls come back fast, pins are set fast, the air blower is really helpful. Luxury setup indeed. Shoes are comfy, and easy to find a fit. Food and beverage is great, cheese curds and fries are amazing. The food is pricey, but if it helps to keep bowling prices low, Im up for it. Our food was catered and it was ice cold when it was served. During the speaking presentation you could here the people bowling and it was interfering with the speakers. I personally would never book a banquet at Sundance.

Normally Sundance is a very nice 18-hole course but it is under construc,tion and only 9 holes are open right now. thats the only reason I give it two stars

Id like to offer zero stars but Google made me do 1. The good news is I did not see any rats and it didnt start on fire when I was there (that I know of). I would recommend the service staff has applications to work other places as this one will be shut down very soon. The food, generally not available, was very slow. I also have concerns for my friend that ate the green tinted bbq. After gutting out that experience with our families for way too long we tried to go bowling.We were unsuccessful in our attempt to bowl. It was not due to the bathroom needs by those that ate the food. Nope. We were unsuccessful because the mechanic was tired. With many folks bowling, and even more lanes available, we were told at 8:00 PM (they were to be open until 10:00 PM) that the mechanic was tired and they couldnt take any more bowlers. Yep, that 3 hour shift rocked his world. Good luck millennials, Sundance employs your mascot. It would have been easier to bowl when we waited for our food.Please do not go to Sundance or support this very poor excuse for customer experience and service. If you do, have immediate bathroom access and an abundance of toilet paper available if you eat. And dont plan on bowling.

First and last visit to Sundance bowl today. The place is in dire need of upgrades and maintenance. You’ll notice the shoes your given are second hand shoes from white bear lake bowling alley and a decent house ball was difficult to find. The computer on the first lane wouldn’t register keystrokes when entering your name. First lane stopped working properly (wouldn’t register rolls and was putting down 9 pins instead of 10), so we were moved to a second lane that also had issues after a few minutes, so we were moved to a third lane. My kids had the bumpers up and those were broken and in need of repair as well. In one instance a slowly rolled ball came to a stop in the middle of the lane and then somehow reversed and rolled backward to the seating area... seems this shouldnt happen. Saw an elderly lady trip and fall nearby due to the floor being broken in front of her lane. Staff was nice enough to refund our second game as we decided to leave after the first, but shut down our lane prematurely when two bowlers still needed to complete frame ten. Too many frustrations here. We will try a different alley next time.

We had our womens league play there after having lost our original course to development. Mark the golf pro was great to work with. We think the course was in good shape and liked the challenge some of the holes have. We like the food in the restaurant. the wait staff is very friendly. We look forward to next year.

Went on a Sunday looking for 1 lane to bowl. Every lane was open and unused. Was told NONE of them were available because of an event. Why advertise open bowl and have not 1 lane available? This was at 3 p.m. They are open til 11 p.m. The lady was cold and unwelcoming. She couldnt even recommend a different bowling alley. Highly disappointing. Not Country Club standards to me!

I booked my wedding reception there in Aug 2012 and had an absolutely, WONDERFUL experience! Kathy was wonderful to work with. It is apparent that she has been doing this a long time because she is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and does an EXCELLENT job with her floral arrangements. All of our guests enjoyed the food and the patio overlooking the golf course. The staff was efficient and courteous. Our reception went off without a snag thanks to Sundance!

Update: It seems that this business is under new and much better ownership. We decided to give the new crew a chance by scheduling our kids birthday bowling party there. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fun. Good job, guys. A big improvement over your predecessors.

Came here for a homeschool behind the scenes. It was busy on a Monday afternoon but the employees were so helpful and attentive. Gave our group a great deal on bowling too. Extended an offer for us to come back anytime-we will be back!

Surly fun however some of the greens were in bad shape and pin placement was that some of the worst spots because of the bad parts of the greens but overall not so bad definitely different than it used to be

Its Okay It Was My First Time Going There And I Love Their Food

I would NOT recommend Sundance to ANYONE that is planning a wedding! Here is a list of reasons why I wouldn’t.1st: They hired and fired 3-4 different banquet managers within a years time, while we were planning our wedding. So, in the month and weeks leading up to the biggest day of my life, I had no idea who I was supposed to contact at Sundance.2nd: No staff present (didn’t show up to work) for our groomsmen/ my husband’s tee time.3rd: We were never given an invoice with final pricing for all of our entree, etc. choices prior to the wedding day (probably because there was no current banquet manager on the day or our wedding).4th: Our food was served cold (yes, even at the head table and we were the first to be served) steak was over cooked and steak sizes were much smaller than the sizes we were told we would be get.5th: During our food tasting we were told ALL salad choices were included free of charge, however we were charged $4 per salad the night of the wedding (which was about an additional $1,000). They then tried to tell us that only house and Cesar salads are included for free.6th: When we tried to contact the Sundance manager after the wedding to be reimbursed for salads the manager rarely answered his phone, never returned voicemails, rarely returned e-mails.7th: We were told by the manager that salad reimbursement was the decision of the owners. We were never given any contact information for the owners and we were never provided reimbursement for the salads we were told would be free, but actually cost us $1,000.

Sundance is a great place for family fun and is a real asset to the community. I have been to several kids birthday parties and also youth sports banquets. They have the expected menu selections, but they are better quality than I expected for a bowling/golf/fun center. I have not played golf, but Ive heard good things and its rural setting is pastoral and very calm. Last time we we there [mid-july], they were renovating some of the complex so call ahead to be sure if you need to be certain a particular amenity is available.

Building hosted the Fernbrook PTA fundraiser. Nice place, good food.

The place was pretty busy on the bowling side if things. Tables were messy and not very clean. Also, when lanes had ball issues, service was slow to get them fixed. However, the pizza was great tasting and served hot. Overall prices for everything were very reasonable!

We held our wedding reception here and it was a great experience. There was not a single hitch. Sundance is very modestly priced, flexible, and reliable. They also offer a wedding package that includes everything from the cake to the centerpieces which I highly recommend to those that dont want to have to put too much effort into arranging that stuff themselves.

Bought a Groupon to try this place out. 2 hours of family fun bowling! Our lane was broken half of that time, they refused to switch our lane to one that worked. Just kept going to the back to fix it. We asked for bumpers 4 times for the kids, never got them. We got 1 game and 3 frames of a second before they shut our lane down. Food was mediocre at best and you have to take your bowling shoes off to walk to the bar to order it. Will not be going back.
