Brought my kids here years ago really was disappointed when it was shut down for a while took the grandkids here today was very excellent experience for all of us

I didnt realize it was about a 25 minute trail, but otherwise it was beautiful! Wear shoes that have good tread the boards are slippery when wet

Peaceful place to walk. Easy trail because the pathway is wooden. Lots of wild life. My husband and I took a minute to rest on a little bench. We heard some noise and saw a Doe with 3 fawns!!

Needs maintained in general.... Its FULL of widow makers and trash.

We love going to this place because they have a lovely boardwalk all around their nature hike! It is helpful for a quick walk without getting too muddy!

A few things to consider:1. Deet, and I mean the potent kind. Not that family style, sweet smelling, 15% deet bug spray. Youre going to want the backwoods, heavy duty bug spray for this place. The mosquitos are thick due to the wetlands.2. Not for long hikes, at least not until they open up the back part of the preserve. Its blocked off due to the Emerald Ash Borer problem and the risk of being hurt by falling limbs and trees. We walked both paths in about a half hour or so. The nice part is you wont get muddy here because the entire path is a wooden walkway.3. The information sign at the very beginning has a hornets nest, so be careful!4. The information signs along the pathways are sometimes littered with liberal garbage about these rocks being 500 million years old... So take that with a grain of salt!

Love it and so does my kids just wish the ash boar didnt ruin it for everyone. I wish i could walk the entire trail for once though... better luck next time though. Other than that its beautiful, an amazing escape from reality...

Absolutely beautiful nature preserve. A great place to take the kids for a peaceful, easy walk, or go alone and enjoy the natural beauty in peace.

Used to be a great trail but trees have fallen down and destroyed the wooden path

We walk our dogs here and they love it!
