All games and attractions are fun for my three girls . Customer service was horrendous. We waited 20 minutes when we walked in for a young lady to help us . I walked all over looking for help and when I got back to the front the young lady decided to help some one else first . Don’t waste money on food not because it wasn’t good but because the other teenager with glasses also doesn’t understand costumer service. I wouldn’t let young adults run your business with no managerial supervision around .

For $10+tax (2 kids) you can bring your kids to roam around the ball pit while you use their arcade cards. Plenty of space to sit for the parents that just want to relax.

This greatly exceeded my expectations. The place was clean, well maintained, and lots of fun! Even for our not quite two year old there was lots to do. We didnt play any arcade games, but the wristband for the play place was more than enough to keep our kid entertained and happy. We expect to return often!

Very expensive with very few options for games for the kids to chose from, and absolutely nothing for parents to do. Dont even bother trying to buy food from them, cuz we was told the probably dont even have enough to make 1 pizza in stock.

Great place for the kids to come play. The activity some is a great size. The arcade has a reasonable variety of games. The mini bowling and laser tag look awesome. Weekday deals look wonderful too. Monday is double military discount. Tuesday is half price games. Wednesday is kids eat free. Thursday is unlimited laser tag. I look forward to coming back, especially on those too cold or too cold days when the kids need to let of some steam.

Its ok. Would love to see more arcades like Galaga, Pac-Man, street fighter and stuff like that. Very overpriced. For a building as big as it is they should have a bigger selection of games.

My 14 year old had fun playing the arcade games. My 3 year old loved the climbing tower thing. Prices were very reasonable compared to other places we have been. Pizza was surprisingly better then expected. Not a bad way to get the kids out of the house and have some fun. Ill be making the trip regularly. Thank you Widgets!

Great place! They have a small toddler area for 3 and under, but plenty of room if you want to take your little into the main section. Food, beverages (both adult and non), large TVs for sports viewing. Also, clean bathrooms with solid changing tables (part of the countertop) in both men and womens rooms. Two large family restrooms.Only downside, there didnt seem to be a kid/parent security system. Several game places such as this stamp parent and childs hand to ensure those leaving are those they came with.

This was a great place to take the kids when outside activities arent possible. Lots to keep them entertained.

Needs more things for toddlers than just a little pinned in area with foam shapes. Something more for them to engage in. Other than that great bbn place for older kids, my 5 year old loves it.

We had a work meeting at Widgets recently with about 33 employees (give or take a few) and it was wonderful! We had the whole place to ourselves for most of the day with mini bowling and laser tag available. The meeting room worked out just fine however I would suggest getting an actual projector screen or flat screen mounted on the wall if they would like to host more professional events. The laser tag was a BLAST as we are quite a competitive company. The facility was quite clean and the pizza and bread sticks were VERY good. Most importantly, the ladies in charge were very helpful and open to suggestions! Thanks a bunch Widgets, I hope to be back soon!

It would be a great place if it was ran by professionals and not kids or idiots who tell you they have a policy on you not getting any money left on your game card. Yet they dont have this policy on their website nor inside the business. Seen the owners comment on another post, just thought I should share with everyone. Im no lawyer or legal expert but you would think that if you all had a policy of not returning any extra money unused from game cards to their customers. One would think that this policy should be on website and posted in business.

Not just for kids! We had an amazing time celebrating a 41st birthday here. Had 6 year olds and 75 year olds playing lazer tag together. An unexpected awesome time. Kudos to the staff for being so accommodating to our group. Recommend for all ages, work events, group outings, etc. Were able to fill our down time with other games, skeeball, and yes... they serve beer.

The website was not updated today. My parents came from out of town to take my children for an evening of fun. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a sign on the door stating they were closed due to a private party. When I called to inform the manager that the website was not updated, she was unapologetic and smirked. This was poor customer service.

Warning for anyone considering having a birthday party here-what you see is not what you get.I used to really enjoy Widgets- so much so that when my daughter wanted to have her birthday party there I was game. The website has a base party package advertised with two different prices (the more expensive one is the one they will charge you), and also includes misleading information regarding what your package includes. To be specific, you will read that your party guests get a game card and you get to choose one attraction. This is not the case-although this is clearly what the website advertises, once you get there, you will have to pay for the game cards separately in addition to what you have already paid. What is worse than the information being wrong on their website, is that I actually called just to make sure I had the correct understanding of what all was included with the base package, and then again, was given incorrect information. It’s a rip off.Check in was 15 min late-our room wasn’t ready-they tried to make up for it by letting us stay 15 min later-which is fine. Bathroom toilets weren’t working and there was pee everywhere. We ordered pizzas, but they never came, we had to alert the staff they had forgotten our order.Customer service rep. Stacey was rude and unhelpful when I tried to point out that their advertisements were false.

So much fun. The kids cant wait to go back.

Great place to take the kids. Had my sons birthday party here and the kids loved it. I rented the room and there was some miscommunication in getting the food and drinks out within a reasonable time frame but that was the only issue. Update came back to widgets and the food wait time is ridiculous the wait time is comparable to waiting at olive garden for you food but they are not really cooking. My biggest suggestion is eat before you come the prices are not outrageous but the wait times are.

This place seems to be alright but then they have the nerve to charge sales tax when loading a game card for the arcade and have the nerve to use the state of Kansas as the excuse to do so. When you add money or credit to a game card for the arcade you are suppose to have that exact amount available but not here they actually tax it. Also I know it’s not a restaurant but they only have fountain soda and bottles of other beverages and charge over $3.00 for them, what happen to just plain sweet tea or options that are not such a rip, I know they are and I understand business but this was not a good experience!!!

Food was nasty. It either tasted unseasoned,stale, soggy or /and old. The lady at the front is rude like she doesnt want to be there. The activities arent even worth the money. Just take the 2hr to Dave and busters. This place is terrible it ruined my Saturday,it was so disappointing.

My almost two years old love this place and its only $4.50 to play as long as we want. Great for cold days when you cant go outside. It is definitely one of his favorite places. He has been twice and knows where everything is but we still crawl around with him. We like to go on weekdays because there are less people there and I dont want him to get squished by older kids being too rough.

All I can say is that this is an excellent and awesome place to take your kiddos to. The staff is beyond exceptional, any age group would absolutely love it and it is a safe and very well maintained place. It has games for every age group and even your youngest child can have fun going through the amazing play area right as you walk in. I think that the parents can come in free is the driving force that keeps us going back. There are so many areas that parents can sit and can visually see their children play.Again I would recommend Widgets to anyone. I noticed another post that was just the opposite of my opinion and so many other parents. If this establishment is as bad as they say, it might not be the establishment, that is all I can say.IT IS AWESOME!!!!!

A good place for family fun. Some of the games are overpriced which is to be expected.The laser tag was very fun and surprisingly large. I can say that it exceeded my expectations and the use of a second level that allows you to fire below adds another layer of strategy.I would definitely return and my son did enjoy the large inner area that is the equivalent of a multi-story ball pit with ball launchers.I did not try the food while I was there.

LASER TAG in a two level arena! This is just one game you’ll love at Widgets. Kids and adults, alone or as groups, can all have a blast here. Food and drinks are available for reasonable prices and there is plenty of room to sit and relax after an intense round of gaming! I will return for the laser tag, undoubtedly!

Not many kid friend places to go to in Junction City/Fort Riley area. My family happen to find this place online and thank god we did. My kids and their cousins had a blast! Food was surprisingly great too. I had buffalo wings and fries.

Its a nice concept, however the seating area for the cafe is way too small. My children and I had to stand and eat. Birthday parties where taking up all the seats and tables. The kids had fun but they forgot that the adults need a place too.

Prices are not across the board with all employees. Tried charging me for an adult armbands with a 3 year old who HAS to be accompanied by an adult. Have not been back since. Such a shame because wed go at least 3 times a week. This simply means management has not been doing their jobs correctly.

I am so happy we have this place so close to Manhattan! We used to drive to Lawrence and now we only five 15 minutes and honestly, this place has a much cooler play structure. The air tube, gun and balls add hours more fun. The spiral slide is fast and goes for 10 seconds.

Great place! My kids have fun here. So glad we finally have a place like this without having to travel to Topeka or Kansas City!

I love that there is something like this available in Manhattan. I think the prices on some of the games are a little high, but I love the concept! I hope that they will continue to expand on what is offered and Im really glad that there will be something fun to do with my daughter during the winter!

Fun could use some.more small child friendly activities

The building itself is extremely small. I actually had to go out to my car just to sit down because there werent enough places to sit. Its a great place for children, but not for their adult chaperones.

When I first walked in the establishment was Farley clean but the staff was very rude and no one smiled or greeted us . The food was over priced and the tables were dirty. I paid $6 for an expired drink, went up to the counter and told them to check the rest of their drinks... come to find out no one checks their products and half of the beverages were expired by 3 weeks. I waited almost an hour for my food and my friends kids food, the food was cold and their was a dead fly in my friends kids plate . When we spoke about the issues to the staff they rolled their eyes and walked away & they act as if nothing mattered ...... needless to say I won’t be coming back here . If you’re gonna over charge ppl for cold food with a side of bugs and expired drinks, the least you can have is friendly staff with customer service experience

Ive been waiting for an arcade in Manhattan since Aladdins castle.Food was great, staff is friendly, its clean, not over crowded, loved the laser tag.Only thing Id change is the prices but they have to make money too!

It was fun for the whole family. We all won tickets and was wasnt to expensive like we thought it would be.

The food is pretty good facility is nice. But the games are over priced. Put $15 dollars each on the kids card, spent it all in 10 minutes. Wont be going back.

My son LOVES coming here. It is a great place for a six year old to enjoy themself. However there has been a dramatic change in quality over the year that Ive been taking my family. Sadly Widgets is horribly under staffed. The wait for entry, food, and trading tickets were undeniably long. When we finally did receive our food the order was incorrect, and clearly Widgets tried cutting cost in the last year because the food doesnt taste the same. But over all the staff is very friendly, the games are fun, and its spacious enough not to feel overly crowded. Would still recommend to others.

I just finished up with a bday party here and the treehouse climber as some places call them was very clean and a lot of fun. The slide is super fast for both children and adults. They have a small section secluded for babies up to 3 yrs old. They have a good area with reasonable prices good options. Brownies were $1.49 and cookies .99 personal pizza $4.99 and a lot of other items. Popcorn, the sweets are setup like a bakery in the case and look nice. I think they also have coffee and a hot water station for making bottles. There are 2 family restrooms and they have adult and kid size toilets and a chair for breastfeeding.

This shredded my expectations of being a total blast beyond all comparison. My toddler has a blast. We didnt bring socks and they sold them for a $1 which is way less than I would have imagined. Had the greatest time.

Ive only ever been here to play laser tag with my fraternity, their set up is pretty fun.

The prices are way to high for one person let alone u need the same price for the other person. There is no dual processor or family plan...nothing just one person rates. Im not going back.
