Beautiful place to travel. Can enjoy views from the top of point Duke or you can go on a beach

I great hour get-a-way from Pasadena. Beautiful beach and day.I must admit that at first the Pacific Ocean was freezing. But with time the body adapts and you couldnt get me out of the water! Week day trip allowed for room on the beach to enjoy and relax. No crowd. A must return trip for me a before school starts again.

Sea-cliffs with tide pools, ocean fowl, and tons of sea lions

If you’re into hiking defiantly try this place specially around Feb to April. Around that time of the year you get to see the poppies and beautiful view of the ocean mixed with greenery. 2019 was an exception as far as poppies (those little colorful flowers, usually yellow or orange) but even on a regular year you get to see some around that time of the year. The hiking is very mild but just keep in mind that you’ll be hiking mainly in sand so be prepared for that.

I would definitely want to return to explore more. Arrived with perfect timing to watch the sunset and the moonrise. Saw quail and sea lion. Heard a Great Horned Owl. Seemed like very limited parking, but we got lucky with someone pulling out of a spot. We only spent an hour to hour and a half here, but with adding on exploration of the shoreline, I could see this being a great spot to spend the entire afternoon.

Excellent for climbing. Nice little beach side slab 5.6 to 5.10 range ocean side. Better during the weekdays. Parking in the upper lot is fee based. Parking down on Westward is free, just walk about 1/2 mile along the beach, its really nice.

Malibu Beach and Point Dume are some great spots for California Beaches. The ocean view and the scenery can not be beat.I often drive up and down the coast and just stop along the way to be one with the power of nature. Theres always great things to see, great people watching or just enjoying the waves crash along the coast.

Love the flower sea by the cliff of the ocean. this park is full of yellow followers. great place for photograph. the ocean view is also quite impressive.

A very beautiful spot along Pacific Ocean in Malibu area. We could see Sunset from this spot. You get to walk through trails to be at the top of the rock to see the ocean and sunset.Beach is also very nice to have a long walk and spend sometime.Be prepared for the cool breeze.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Short hike up the rock with plenty of flora to amazing beach and ocean views. You can usually see dolphins and seals and sometimes even whales! The parking lot costs different amounts depending on the time of day.

No dogs allowed on beach or on trail.

If you’re looking for a private beach just for you and great pictures/selfies this is the place you’re looking for! Just don’t expect a lot of support as toilettes or food around cause it’s not what you’re gonna find there.

A breakthtaking place where u can meet Dolphins, sealions and whales!The bitchs below this panoramic point are very clean and beautiful! You must go there!P.s. The parking isnt economic: 6$ from 9am to 4pm, 3$ from 4Pm

Definitely deserving of the 5 Stars. One of the first places when I moved to Malibu. Its beautiful, its peaceful. I did receive a parking ticket here, so be careful. But what isnt there to love about this spot? You can find Jesus here, man. Its probably the absolute very best part of Malibu, California. If you dont believe me, then visit for yourself and you will quickly find out.

Wonderful views of the water

This place takes you to the top view on Malibu beach. Highly recommend checking it out. The hike is super short for the great view of the Malibu beach.

Surfing is lit

A great place for the family to visit as long as you follow The Boy Scout motto of Be Prepared, meaning waterproof blankets for the beach, sunblock, layered clothing,etc.

One of the most beautiful places in Malibu. the sea and the cliffs are spectacular. the parking is always a hassle and the parking reinforcement guys they dont joke around. you will get a ticket if you dont park is the right place.

Actually, I was lost! I was headed to a farm to pick up about 150 vegetable and fruit plants so I could put in a couple of new gardens. I didnt find it then but I went straight to it a month later when they had the next give away. What a beautiful and peaceful place here. Sounds of the birds, the ocean waves and....worth another visit!

My niece brought me here for the first time last summer. This beach is to die for!!! The water is clean and clear and the waves were just right. I love that there are several trashcans and they aren’t so far away to avoid littering or trash everywhere. There is a fee for parking but I want to say is was something reasonable like $5 or $10. You pay about $20 for Will Rogers which is another beach I like along the way but this one takes the cake.

There is very limited parking space. Try to board a shuttle from the main highway. Else it’s a 45 minutes walk. It’s very hard to get parking closer

Location! Parking is a pain otherwise worth it.

Beautiful and a great little hike up to the bluff (Point Dume). Not crowded at all.

Point Dume is a complex of trails that cover the cliffside and go down to the beaches on both sides.You get a great vantage point for observing ocean wildlife since youre high up. Sealions, pelicans and dolphins are highlights here.

Really private, would recommend if you don’t want a lot of people around you. I also would recommend to go to their cliff. Such a beautiful view.

Great place to swim and also watch sea lions, whales. Also if you like taking walks point dume has a trail where you can oversee the beach from the top. Nice view.

Great spot to park and enjoy nice views in Malibu

This is where they spread the ashes in Big Lebowski.

Gorgeous views and nice tidepooling, but be careful going down to the water! Very steep steps, some of which have rusted through over time. If youre not very surefooted, stick to the upper paths; my mom uses a walking stick and had a bit of a tough time.

It is the best place of Malibu to make beautiful photos & videos of the Pacific ocean; moreover, if you are brave enough to take a long walk you will find the sublime Paradise Cove Beach a little further.
