Scott was amazing throughout our entire process! He was able to flawlessly execute my and my husbands eclectic taste in music with what everyone else will want to dance to and my wedding guests will not stop raving about how much fun they had. We hired the Mariachi Mexico Lindo through Murray Hill Talent for our wedding last November and were absolutely happy with this choice. They were professional and friendly, and looked great as a band. The music was exactly what we wanted and they worked with us to get all the little details just right to make a surprise entrance to our party. We only hired them for an hour, but everyone talked about how much they enjoyed this part of the wedding! Would do it again in a heartbeat.WE also had a great experience getting everything set up with Cory, even though we were doing this only 2 weeks ahead of our big day.

We hired Scott Arrington for our wedding as he ran the PA for our ceremony and DJed the reception. We could not be happier with our experience. Scott worked with us to balance our song requests to ensure we had the right flow to our wedding. He was very thorough and paid attention to all of our requests, mixing in the songs we liked with what he felt would fit the mood. We would hire him again for any future event without hesitation!

We worked with Scott Arrington for our wedding day, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly! From our first call, we could tell he was on the same page with us with regard to the tone of our wedding and the kind of music we were looking for. Because I can’t help myself and organize everything to death, we provided him with a few playlists: one for the songs with purposes like what I’d be walking down the aisle to, entrance music, cake cutting song, etc., one with “must plays” for the reception, and another with music requested by our guests. We told him to use his best judgment with what to play when outside of the required songs, and he nailed it! We also told him not to accept song request from certain artists on our “do not play” list, and one of our wedding guests thought it would be fun to quiz him and occasionally ask to play one of those songs throughout the night. It came as no surprise that he never did play those songs and held up his end of the deal (and Scott - we’re sorry about that guest bugging you :)). We had a wonderful experience with Scott, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for music for their wedding day!

Everything about DJ Scott Arringtons (of Murray Hill Talent) performance at our wedding was wonderful. He took all of my specific music requests, and I had A LOT, and he worked it all together seamlessly. It was fantastic, I had many compliments from guests as well. I also work with Murray Hill on a professional basis regularly, and they are wonderful to work with.

We had Scott Arrington DJ our wedding on 2/2/13. He was so wonderful! Scott kept everyone on the dance floor and played all our requested songs. He was so easy to work with, getting the info he needed without stressing out a bride-to-be with details. Scott was very friendly and easy going. I gave him some ideas of music we like and let him take it from there. He mixed it up perfectly for every age attending our wedding. I have heard nothing but positive reviews from my guests! Fantastic 3 piece band for our small wedding. Needed jazz/classical music to fill the space for a cocktail reception and dinner. Music was delightful, non-repetitive, and clearly from talented musicians. Tom and his group were professional, flexible, and wonderful to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Murray Hill Talent did a great job, and not only that, was priced very well. The DJ we went with, Brian Delac, did an incredible job at our wedding - a truly skilled DJ, he kept everyone dancing and everyone was very happy with the music. He was also fantastic to work with leading up to it - highly recommended!

I can not find the words to express how AMAZING the band was at our wedding. I was the type of bride that was not all that concerned about the flowers, the desert choice, or the favors. For me, it was all about the music. Needless to say, the band was my biggest priority when planning my wedding. When trying to decide on a band, I dragged my family to countless shows, and listened to youtube clips for hours. I am thrilled that I chose Flip Side! Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night, and many told us it was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. I could not agree more. The quality of this band goes well beyond the dance floor. Management was exceptional at responding to any questions, and creating an experience for the bride/groom where you feel like you are the only wedding they are planning. Book Flip Side!!!!!!

We had Eastern Standard for our Corporate Holiday event, and it was awesome! We started with an hour of acoustic guitar with Ken during cocktail hour, which was a really nice touch as everyone was arriving. Then throughout dinner, they played some classic holiday tunes in the background perfect to maintain dinner conversation around the table. They finished the night strong, with a great song selection, taking requests as they came it. It was overall amazing!

Scott was my DJ from Murray Hill and he was amazing! The dance floor was packed all night long! I didnt give him a lot of direction in terms of what songs I wanted, all I said was make it a party and keep that dance floor going and he delivered! My family and so many guests came up to me during and after the wedding commenting how much fun it was and requesting his playlist! Additionally, my family is Armenian and I requested that he integrate a few traditional Armenian songs into the mix. He did this flawlessly without interrupting the flow of the reception at all and kept the dance party going! I would highly recommend Scott to anyone. We didnt want the night to end!We also used Infinity Strings for the ceremony and cocktail hour - they were amazing as well, playing both classical and modern music. I could have listened to them play all day!

My husband and I hired Tom Pendergast, guitarist, to play for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. In a word, Tom is phenomenal. He is incredibly talented, offers a wide-range of musical styles, and was amazing to work with. He was warm and friendly, receptive to our ideas, and set such a beautiful, perfect tone for our wedding. We are just thrilled to have had Tom play for us- it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!

Working with Murray Hill and our DJ Zeke Stern was a fantastic experience from start to finish. It was super easy and stress-less to book Zeke as well as confirm everything we needed for our wedding day. When the day got closer, we sent Zeke a list (with notes and comments everywhere) about what we wanted and included some specifics as well as generalities that we wanted to include. Zeke nailed everything. He got every detail as we asked as well as used his own experience to keep the dance floor going. Everyone had a great time, I couldnt recommend Murray Hill or Zeke more. Not even the smallest thing went wrong the entire night. Also, our day was very hot, and when I showed up early, I saw Zeke working his tail off in the extreme sun and heat to set up for the ceremony and reception, not taking a break to insure our day went off smoothly. I really appreciated everything he did. Great company and DJ. USE THEM!

We had Redline play at our wedding this summer and it couldnt have been better! The entire band was amazing, but working with Ken was definitely a highlight - he worked with us to put together beautiful ceremony and cocktail music, he went out of his way to help us pick songs, and gave us tons of options and modifications for slowing songs down, changing it to fit the dance - whatever! He also went out of his way to work with my sister, the Best Woman (thanks for that title, Ken!) and helped her with a song and dance that she and friends did during the speech!The entire band was really lovely, and we were recommended them by word of mouth from a friend - needless to say, were very happy with our friends and Redline! Their set list, the tempo changes - it was all seamless and beautifully done, and the band and Kens intuition about music and setting the tone for the evening was wonderful!

We hired Redline to perform at our wedding. Simply amazing. The music was great, it added an energy to the party that is hard to put into words, and most importantly everyone was dancing. They played a wide variety of music, and it seemed to get better and better as the night went on. I had been to a previous wedding Redline had played at and knew I wanted to book them for my own. When my now wife wanted a DJ, I was adamant about getting a live band. It was worth every penny!!! It was a pleasure working with Ken throughout the planning process.

We used Murray Hill Talent to book all of the music for our wedding day!They hired a 3 piece fife and drum band to escort our wedding party from the church to the reception, a 3 piece jazz band for the cocktail hour, and a DJ for the rest of the evening. All were fantastic! Our contact (Tom Pendergast) was very timely with communication and everyone went wonderfully! Tom, also played beautifully as the guitarist in the jazz trio.Scott Arrington, our DJ, was especially great, considering we had some crazy song requests and music choices - he nailed it!!

If you want people to DANCE, hire Paul from Murray Hill Talent. Our wedding was on a Sunday. We figured people might be more mellow and might not stay out as late as they would on a weekend night. That did not happen. Everyone stayed until the very last minute and seriously danced - I thought the floor at Upstairs on the Square would fall through into Grendals Den. Paul took the time to meet with us before the wedding day to go over our favorite types of music and songs we didnt want at our wedding. His timing of what to play kept the party going and his song selection was spot on. To this day, our family and friends still rave about the music.Paul also arranged to have a very talented musician - Bob Talalla - play the piano during the ceremony. I would also recommend Bob. He eloquently played all the songs we asked of him with ease and was on time. Highly recommend Murray Hill. Thanks again guys!

We hired Redline for our wedding this September and were blown away by their music. Their song selection was perfect, and we received tons of rave reviews from our guests who said they felt like they were at a concert and not a wedding. I am a wedding photographer and love working with Murray Hill Talent. Their DJs and bands are excellent and very organized. More importantly, they are amazing musicians and really fun, which makes my job easier. The guests are packed on the dance floor having a great time.Flipside is great, and Corin does a great job on the acoustic guitar for the ceremony/cocktail hour music. I once shot a wedding where a string of paper lanterns fell down in the middle of the dance floor, but no one stopped dancing!

Redline played at our Brunswick, Maine wedding on 8/30/14 and they were absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! We cannot say enough great things about the ease of working with Paul Natale prior to our big day. He was professional and incredibly accommodating. We had several special requests and he made everything we wished for come true. Since our wedding almost a month ago, no one has stopped talking about THE band. Many of our friends are convinced that Redline is going to be the next big thing. We have never seen so many people of all ages flood a dance floor so quickly and then stay on the dance floor until the very end of the night. EVERYONE from our 90+ year old grandparents to our 3 year old nieces enjoyed each moment of the music and the songs just kept on getting better, so no one wanted to sit down. We would highly recommend Redline to anyone looking for an awesome time and an unforgettable dance party.

We used the wonderful DJs of Murray Hill Talent for our large wedding in 2009, and to this day we still get comments from guests reflecting on how great our DJ was, in terms of reading the crowd and choosing the perfect mix of music to reflect the energy of the night, and in MCing our entire event in a classy and elegant and professional manner from start to finish. Our Murray Hill Team were more than just DJs, they really acted also as assistant wedding coordinators helping to work with all the other vendors and make sure the evening flowed in a timely and smooth manner. They really are the best in the business both locally and beyond. They are also all very charming and personable.

We went with Tom Pendergasts jazz group for our wedding as our family was a bit older and didnt expect a ton of dancing. Tom was a pleasure to work with, genuine guy, great guitarist, easy to communicate with, and brought a great group. We sent him a list of our favorite bands and a couple specific songs wed like for the egress and regression. He did a beautiful solo acoustic rendition of Death of a Batchelor for the brides entrance, some great covers of Medeski Martin and Wood, the Grateful Dead, and even a jazz version of the Backstreet Boys. Live music is more pricy, but only about 30% more than the quotes we were getting from DJs. We would definitely recommend if you are into Jazz/fusion style.

We hired Flipside band for our daughters July wedding at the State Room in Boston and could not have been happier with our choice. We are a music loving family with a wide range of tastes, and Corin Ashley was able to listen closely to everyone and along with the band create the perfect music for the event.During the ceremony his string playing along with the Violin and Cello on the Beatles Here Comes the Sun was awe inspiring and loved by everyone in attendance. And he perfectly followed the Bride and Grooms request and learned Sugar Magnolia for their joyous exit. Throw in his array of classical pieces and all genres were covered nicely - Classy, Sophisticated, and FUN!Corin and Flipside had to learn at least four new songs from our requests, and to introduce the Bride and Groom the band rocked with The Power of Love and everyone went crazy on the dance floor. The band was smokin hot and sounded like Huey Lewis and the News. And they rocked for the rest of the night as well. Yet there was a nice mix of music that all ages appreciated, and the band always kept their volume at the appropriate level.On a very personal note, Corin Ashley my new best friend, encouraged me to play a song on my guitar with him and give my daughter a gift of song. He met personally with me numerous times to practice and we played the song together for her. Words cannot express how wonderful it was. Corins warmth and caring nature, as well as his exceptional musical abilities are what makes him a special person, and I cannot thank him enough.People are still talking about the music at the wedding and our experiences with Corin will never be forgotten. He was very easy to work with, very accommodating, and his vast music and event knowledge was very helpful in making decisons. I cannot say enough about Corin Ashley as a bandleader, businessman, musician, and person. He and Flipside are absolutely the BEST!

Red Line was our wedding band and was absolutely amazing. They played fun and classic songs for our dinner set (Norah Jones, Diana Krall), which very much impressed both our younger and older guests. They got the crowd going nuts on the dance floor...including my VERY shy mother (still in shock seeing her dance non-stop with my friends)! All of our guests raved about the band and still mention how great and talented they were. My maid of honor even said that they sound like a band that performs in movies...they played top 40s songs and nailed the Weezer song we requested (El Scorcho). Also played the classic In my Life song by the Beatles for the mother/son dance, which really got my husbands mother emotional. Very versatile and talented band...and made our wedding a GREAT party. Thank you very much!! Corin played the acoustic guitar for our ceremony (What a Wonderful World and Fields of Gold) and sang Let My Love Open the Door for our first dance. It was performed beautifully and we wont forget a single moment from our wedding. Paul Natale was very helpful in coordinating all the details for our wedding and he was very responsive and professional. Great experience with these guys.

Corin Ashley was the DJ for our wedding and we cannot say enough wonderful things about him. During the beginning of the wedding planning process I was, uh, overwhelmed to say the least. We thought we wanted a band but had some serious sticker shock with that idea. Then, I called Murray Hill and spoke to Corin. He talked to me about the process, offered suggestions, and WITHOUT pressure, provided a knowledgeable sounding board. We decided to go with a DJ (former coworker) and that did not work out (non-responsive) so I called Corin again. He remembered talking to me and that I had originally wanted a band and offered to sing/play acoustic during the ceremony and DJ the reception. I was pleasantly surprised when he also sang and played acoustic during the cocktail hour! Corin is incredibly talented and truly has a gift for what he does. His passion is tangible and my husband and I could not have been more pleased with his service. He tailored the event perfectly to us and his responsiveness was such a relief. I felt like the worst part of the planning process was getting people to respond to you; this was never the case with Corin. I will never have another DJ-able event without calling Murray Hill. The guests raved about him as well - so many of our guests said he was the best DJ they had ever seen. At one point the entire wedding was on the dance floor.
