Today was my first time seeing SUM Studios. I was humbled to be the first one in the door since COVID-19.This isnt just another CRS or Studio52. The owners ambition is as large as any other MA based musician who has ever dreamt of the ideal practice space.Keep an eye on what SUM Studios will be offering! From what I learned today when being shown around this is a golden egg we should cherish and celebrate.I do not want to short change what theyve got in store, so, Im leaving that remark where it is;Hourly rates are affordable and relatively easy to book. You may even be given extra time depending on the days schedule. My first visit was great and exactly what I expected (and then some!).I very much intend on returning.

Awesome place, very accommodating, Bob is a great guy and extremely easy to deal with. All the equipment we used worked perfectly. No physical issues with the drum kit and the mics were easy to set up. Huge variety of guitar amps. Bob went and got us a bass guitar out of storage when we asked if he had one. Recommended for bands looking for a temporary practice space or people just looking to get together and jam. Still growing and has huge potential.

Sum Studios has turned out to be one of the better practice spaces I’ve ever used in terms of cleanliness, location and management. Bob is super supportive & communicative and all of the tenants are friendly & respectful. I was sad that EMF shut down, but haven’t really thought twice about it’s absence since moving into Sum.

I went over and checked this place out the other day. Met with a couple guys who are running it. So nice and so helpful. They showed me around and answered all my questions. Without doubt, the nicest, cleanest rooms I’ve ever seen in the Boston area. Psyched to get a room here and be a part of this community.

This is easily the cleanest, most musician-friendly space I have ever had the privilege to use. Cannot recommend enough.

Rehearsal space for adults that doesnt make me want to shower after stopping in. Easy drive from Cambridge, plenty of parking once I get there. Super responsive management who get it.
