Very cool place . Local fish store, not the kind you eat, but the kind for hobby, your aquarium. Great selection of tropical fish salt and fresh water setups. Very knowledgeable staff and owner is super friendly and fair with prices. Highly recommend you check out this place before large national pet store. Better service,more knowledgeable staff, far better pricing, far superior product.

What an amazing and clean fish store. Its been a long time since Ive gone into a place that is bright colorful and inviting. All the fish look healthy and some great selection is to be found. You can get Coral, saltwater fish, and even freshwater fish. Marty is amazing and knows his stuff. I am glad I dont have to drive through the city to find great fish and supplies anymore. Always good when the owner is just as passionate as the customers.

I just recently got my first saltwater tank and this was the closest local fish store to me. My first visit, I asked many questions even though I wasnt ready to buy anything just yet. The owner was super patient and knowledgeable. Since then Ive been back a few times and theyre always super helpful. Im glad this store is around, it has a great feel and a personal touch that you just dont get at larger chain pet stores like Petco. My tanks cycling now and Im excited to head back and get some livestock for my tank soon.

This place may finally be the first good aquarium store north of Boston. They are small but building a much larger section and will try to fill specific requests for fish and plants. They appear to be knowledgeable and have high quality livestock. I will definitely be giving them my business and am looking forward to their expansion.

Marty and his wife built something that is a rare find in this part of the world, a beautiful store with great selection, and two awesome people who own it. Finally, we do not have to go to a fish store with only clown fish and cleaner shrimp . I got such a laugh out of the one (!unbelievable!) bad review. You could spend 30 seconds in that store to find how untrue that is. I hate driving 5 minutes down the road on weekends with my busy schedule, and the adventure to his store took an hour, I would gladly do that again. Such a great find. Go support this store! I refuse to go anywhere else now.

Friendly, passionate and informative. A great service to the aquarium hobby especially marine and reef. Now my go to place for my LFS (Local Fish Store). The store was clean and the tanks and its inhabitants are well cared for. I saw no evidence of nuisance pests like bristle worms or aiptasia. Both who worked there were a joy to work with.

I was so happy to walk into the store and see Marty! Ive known him for years and once sold him fish at my old job so it was such a fun time going to see corals! I was in the neighbor because I friend needed live brine shrimp, he had it in stock which really saved the day. My fiance left with an anemone and some corals and I couldnt help but get one of their bettas. Thanks again guys. The shop looks great and I can tell big things are in store for you

This store is fantastic! The owners are extremely personable, and they really know their stuff! They’re extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their prices are very reasonable, and I’ll be coming here more often. They don’t have a sign, and it’s a very modest sized place, so you might have to look a little harder to find the store for the first time. They also keep their door locked to keep their dog inside, but you can ring the bell, or try the door and they’ll let you in.

Set up freshwater tank bought everything there gravel plants $150 fish. Followed all their Advice fish died in 4 days said it was the water played me for a week had water tested it was fine Bought my own testing kit water was fine.

European Aquatics has been my favorite saltwater fish store, and my go to store ever since I found it close to two years ago when it was at its old location.The owner, Marty, is a great guy and every time I go in, which is not too often due to distances, he always has something new and amazing that just grabs my attention and that I just need to have.All of the fish and inverts are really good looking and healthy, as is the coral. I have bought both a very young hippo tang and a yellow watchman goby in the past, along with a pistol shrimp at one point, and multiple other coral, and they are all still doing great and thriving.The store is fabulous, the owner is amazing, the prices are wonderful, there is a great variety of everything, and he is currently working on expanding the store, which I definitely cannot wait for. Really, if you live in Massachusetts or even anywhere near, or are just visiting, and you havent came in and seen the place before, you are missing out on what I would say is the best saltwater fish and coral store in Massachusetts.

Fantastic store, I went there today and the owner is incredibly helpful and clearly enthusiastic about the hobby. They had a great selection of corals and fish, especially considering they have only been open for a few weeks by this point, and they are working adding even more tanks and space to the shop. Marty helped me find exactly the fish I was looking for (a very healthy and plump psychedelic mandarin) and answered all of my questions about some of the other fish I saw there. Definitely worth a stop in, you will not be dissapointed.

This store is a great little aquarium shop. Marty is filling the hole that skiptons left when they left Boston. Not a big store, but cant wait until he finishes expanding! Great selection (for salt and freshwater) and the barky dog is cute once she stops barking.

Great up and coming fish store. Met the owner Marty he is very friendly, incredibly knowledgable and passionate and makes you feel at home. He is still in the process of renovating and adding more tanks. But so far he has a small selection but its growing. He shares his vision with you which is unique, so you know every week there will be something new and exciting to see. Which is awesome to see a mom and pop shop grow, and succeed in todays market. Better then any pet store or fish store

I would like to share my experience with the store that is quite different from many of the other reviews. I believe prices are reasonable. I was a frequent supporter and purchaser at the store for a few months. I was having trouble with my tank and Marty suggested I upgrade to a125. We agreed on pricing and timeframe. Unfortunately the install changed from January to mid January eventually weeks turned to months. And by April I still had not had the installation done. I knew being a small business Marty needed some cash so I paid $600 in advance for the tank And stand and a $150 for corals and fish. Then the final straw. He changed the agreed on price up 1000+ dollars. All the while I had been changing my work schedule to accommodate him. There were numerous days I would take off because he was coming to install the tank. Only later find out by noon time it wasnt ready. I lost thousands of dollars in potential overtime and lost productivity myself. So a couple of weeks ago I did what anybody else would do canceled and asked for a refund. I was still willing to be a customer because I felt that Marty is a good guy he just bit off more than he could chew. However the last straw was when he blamed me For leaving him in a bad spot. He took very little responsibility And it was his inability to meet his own deadlines and prices that cost him the job. I received a refund and a few item must to make up for what I had spent. But I will never again be a customer of European aquatics.

Can’t rave about the people that run this place enough, they are true enthusiast, love what they do, and are very knowledgeable
