Giddings Park is in a beautiful neighborhood tucked behind Gorham Street. There are a few benches, free parking, and a nice view of the lake. I was amazed to see a beach full of little shells versus sand! The frozen branches from the trees by the water were interesting to look at. I liked walking on some of the bigger rocks and watching the waves crash onto shore. Its a cute, tiny little park worth seeing if youre in the area.
Its a nice, simple park space. Great for a break to look out at the lake or have a picnic. Ive never been the only one there, but Ive also never seen it crowded.
Nice little park. Good place to watch the sunset on the lake.
Small but has a pretty nice steep grassy hill that overlooks Mendota. Its also slightly hidden behind the church, making it relatively private.
One of the best sunset viewing locations in Madison
I love this park! Right on the isthmus, but its a hidden gem. Just a cute hillside overlooking the lake. Not nearly as busy as nearby James Madison Park.
Fish were not biting :(
Nice quiet park. Nice shrubs
There is access to Lake Mendota and some grass. Its usually nice, but thats about it.
Perfect for sunsets wish they allowed dogs
Very nice little area, tucked away.
New fishing spot for lots of bites!
Very small but comfortable
Out of the way
Beautiful
