The trail pretty much runs parallel to the Natchez Trace. Scenery is beautiful and the trail is pretty defined. However, there needs to be more signs. A) No map so we were not completely sure what trail we were on. B) Mile markers would be nice. C) They use white paint on both sides of a tree to help keep track of the path. One of the better parks I have gone uses a very distinctive orange on one side and a yellow on the other. If you do get disoriented, this will help you know if you are coming or going. D) More signs, there was one part that we had to actually walk on the side of the Natchez Trace over the bridge. When you come out of the clearing, you dont see any signs pointing you in that direction.
