I Museum Everly Madison and the Bushnell / Scranton families. Interesting to see the small common day-to-day objects of that period. The rooms Are laid out exactly as they would have been on a given day in the 1800s. In the back Annex you can find a model of the Ironclad unionship, Monitor, As well as many primitive tools of the era
Another great local historic site. The house contains artifacts and decorations from numerous different historic periods, which sets it apart from a traditional house museum. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the both the Bushnell/Scranton families and the house itself. A must for local history buffs!
