Always a great time at Odana. Course is well maintained even if the anti-golf city government keeps trying to turn it into a park.

Odana Hills is my absolute go to for a UW student who does not have access to a car on campus. 18 awesome holes, a solid driving range and practice putting green, and a fantastic staff (shoutout to Colin at the front desk; always a G). It definitely can get slow on the weekends especially but Ive never had problems finishing 9 in less than 90 minutes late afternoon weekdays. The pictures on Google or their website dont do this place justice. Its obviously no country club but for a local muni, its really solid. Cant forget to mention its very score-able.

Best Madison parks golf course. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Favorite course to play.

Odana hills has a wonderful winter program for cross country skiing. Rentals are quick, clean, and in good condition!The trails give a variety of options, and even though I was out on a weekend afternoon, it wasn’t too crowded.I would highly recommend skiing as a group activity!

Excellent staff and the course is typically in really good condition. Great course for all kinds of golfers.

I would give the course a 0 if I could, the staff was rude, it was probably the worst kept course Ive ever played on. The greens were absolutely disgusting and the fairways werent that much better. There was also almost no place to get refreshments which is a big deal when its 90 degrees. Overall horrible experience

Nice municipal course! Couple holes with little damage but crews are working to fix them. Greens ran true throughout the course. Looking forward to coming back.

Even with the unrelenting rains weve had, the course is in pretty good shape (#15 is wet & muddy). A couple of dry days in a row would help a lot, but otherwise the crew is doing a great job with mowing, etc.

The course is in great shape considering the heavy rains. There is some ground under repair, but not anywhere you should be hitting from. The greens are fast and soft and the price is excellent.

My favorite affordable golf course in Madison. I haven’t been to the big name ones because they are ridiculously priced. As a student you can play here for around $12 for 9 holes. The greens are always in good shape and the staff is always friendly. Hard to lose your balls here since it’s so open

Its a nice course, but I dont recommend golfing this time of year lol. Late October is wet, cold, and kinda muddy. A real fun course to play tho during peak hours.

Got rained out. All 3 of my friends got blue rain checks. I did not. Just because my friend paid for my cart I didnt ger credit for it. Seems a tad unfair.

Course is in good shape in June. I had to rent clubs as I was visiting from out of town. The clubs cost as much as the round and they were all cheap beater clubs that didnt match. They didnt even make a full set. Having to play with those really put a damper on the experience.

Nice public course. Good drink cart service ok weekends, and typical long greens. Layout is decent, and there is some highway noise on a few holes.

I saw the face of God here. He was sitting on a bench, smoking a cigarette, preaching the word of God to young 4 year olds who wanted nothing more than to play trucks. I asked Him where the edge of the world was and he said it didnt exist. I asked why Ted Cruz was an alien, and He said go away. i asked when Marco Rubio would be arrested, and He said to stop talking to Him. I asked where the unicorns went, and He said He was going to call he cops

Great place to play for the price. Nothing super fancy, but well taken care of course thats fun to play.

Course was in good shape in early September. Could have used a bit more maintenance though

All the above reviews are very course and self centered. I staff is helpful and the course it self is a great muni and if located in a different city would be a private club. I have been a member of a country club and enjoy Odana as much.

Very nice City Course

Cross country ski loop is well groomed. Almost entirely flat. The loop gets pretty dull pretty fast.

Good course that is usually able to accomodate walk-ons with little to no difficulty. convenient and inexpensive for the quality and location. enjoy this course 15-20 times per summer. thanks.
