This is a great ballpark. The parking is free. The atmosphere is very nice for the family and kids and adults who want to enjoy a game with an adult beverage. They have little events going on the field between innings making it great fun for kids. They have large air-filled baseballs that the kids can tap around in the stands, they do a shirt toss, and many other fun things for the kids. The music playing between innings is also great. For $41 you can purchase Duck Blind seating which includes all food and drinks (included many varieties of beer). Mixed drinks are $3 per drink. It isnt assigned seating so get there early to reserve a group of tables and chairs. It fills up on the weekends. Great fun. Excellent price! I would go again for sure.

The duck blind is the greatest thing ever. You get subpar mediocre food that is unlimited with unlimited local drafts from some pretty fantastic breweries. Such a huge selection of beers youre bound to find one you like and once youve had a couple the food starts looking pretty great. Price for admission is more than covered by the beer selection. Ohh there is sometimes a baseball game going on too I think.Edit: the food could be just as good as that which is should directly outside the gates of the duck blind...

I had always thought being so close to Memphis, TN was cool because the Redbirds were right down the road. My brother was on the coaching staff for a summer in Madison and this was the coolest experience Ive had with baseball. Cooler and more fun than any pro or minor league game Ive been to. The atmosphere was one of a kind. It seemed that everyone here was family and the Mallards were the only reason to live. U fortunately, I didnt get to see the bat-dog, but I got some good local brewed beer and some fantastic fried cheese!

They must have over sold the tickets to the duck blind. Way over crowded. Most people were standing around because of the lack of seating. Couldnt see much of the the field except the outer field. Game wasnt being called either so we had no idea what was going on. Free beer and food is great but when you can hardly see the game its not worth it.

Overall a nice concept. Unfortunately when we were there the food seemed old and wasnt replaced quickly. The soda fountain area for of the options were completely out and they didnt resell it until the way and up tonight. A bit disappointing. At mattered more to us because we have 5 children with us under the age of 15. Everybody wanted to drink soda. If you were just drinking alcohol there was no disappointment

So much fun, we had duck blind seats. The staff there was great. Food good. I do wish they had an adult bounce house or course. I had to go in with my friends kid. I know that sounds crazy but I would pay extra to have some adult fun and not worry about trampling a child.

As a minor league stadium? 5 stars hands down.If this was a rating for their food services Id give it 1. We ordered a hot dog, cheese curds, and poutine and watched the dog & curds sit at the window for over ten minutes while the staff (in a total state of chaos) prepared the poutine, or so I assume. Consequently, the poutine was the only thing I walked away with that wasnt cold.

First, we love the Mallards and the fun we have had there for years. Last night was not a fun experience. Arrived 45 minutes before game time, excited for the opener and hungry. After waiting 30 minutes to get through the gate, and then watching a dozen young workers with no supervision, whom had not been coached on how to prepare any of the menu items and had no direction we received our order in the third inning. Got to our seats in Section 204 to find the loudspeaker working on half of the announcers words, the pitch speed indicator not operating and complaining fans all around us. Not the fun night we were expecting. Obviously no dry run had been conducted which showed little regard to the 6500 fans who came expecting a good experience. The full time staff, even you Vern looked like deer in headlights. You are not new at this so I can only assume last night you decided to use opening night to be your dry run to prepare for the season. We wont be back for a while to find out how that work d for you.

Worst Concessions EVER!!! I have never experienced such poor concessions at a sporting event. I went to get food twice during the game, stood in line for more than 30 minutes each time. That is RIDICULOUS! The staff seemed to have no clue as to what they are doing. There appeared to be about 15 people working behind the counter, nobody was talking to each other, and mass chaos was on full display. It should not take long to throw hot dogs/brats on a bun, or a hamburger on a bun considering the customers do all of the toppings themselves! Seriously, the food should be FLYING out of the concession stand instead of people waiting 15 minutes to order, only to then go stand in another line for 15+ minutes to get their food.On top of the slowness, the food was AWFUL! And, the staff didnt even know what they were making. I had way over cooked/reheated cheese curds, and the beer cheese brat with beer onions was a JOKE! The description of the beer cheese brat is as follows: A brat smothered with beer cheese and topped with grilled onions that have been braised in beer. What did I get? I got a brat on an old, dry bun with about a spoonful of beer cheese on it - no onions. When I asked about the onions, the staff brought out plain, uncooked, white chopped onions and put about a tablespoons worth on my bun. The problem was, I saw them do the SAME EXACT thing to another gentlemen during my first visit to the concession stand - no onions, when he asked, they topped it with chopped, raw, white onions. Its like the staff doesnt even know what they are preparing or how to prepare it. Thai Bacon on a Stick? Awesome - yummy - no stick! And, in the condiments area there is no brat mustard despite the fact that the ballpark serves BRATS!!!I enjoyed the game, and some of the other concession areas like the nacho bar and the bbq joint do a much better job. But, if youre looking for good traditional ballpark food - save yourself about $20 by skipping the concessions at a Mallards game and getting something outside of the ballpark before and/or after the game. At this point I think the ballpark is doing the fan base a disservice by even having a concession stand run so poorly. They should just close it down.Bottom line summary - food prices are too high for what you get, service is extremely slow, service accuracy on delivering what was ordered is below poor, looking up at dismal. I feel I got bait n switched by what was advertised on the menu versus what showed up! Sorry Mallards Concession team, you need to step it up big time. You are embarrassing yourselves.

Went to a Monday night game two weeks ago. Waited in line to order food. It took 50 minutes to get full order. Things came out ten minutes apart so by the time we got back to seats we missed one inning and had ice cold burgers, warm sodas, Luke warm fries, and warm chicken and brat. For paying over 50 dollars we expected to at least be able to eat 40% of the food. Ended up just with popcorn and cotton candy was all that was left. Emailed two managers including Vern with not even an apology. Used to have fun yrs ago. I guess since they have regular crowds now and not needing to heavily promote they dont care if they lose a few families. Sad.
