Michaels

Super cool place. Was upset of the lack of markers. Paint, you got it. Pencils, you got it. Color crayons, you got it. Flowers, you got it. Markers..... not to much. But they have awesome hello decor.

A great place for anything! Very helpful staff.

I love your stores and your amazing staff! As a disabled senior I knew I would have to be helped to navigate. Barbara was the first employee I saw: I asked for assistance and she immediately dropped what she was doing to help.I had my list and I shared it with her. She read it and off we went! She found everything i wanted, helped with several choices based on price and quality, and did it all with a smile (she was wearing a mask, but I could see the smile in her eyes!).Gail was also very pleasant and friendly at the checkout. I have, among many other things, limited vision. She gladly explained the store email sign up and did the work of input for me.It was a great shopping experience for a getting older gentleman by the name of john Kirkpatrick of Rockford, IL. Ill be back!

I went in for 2 custom frames to get done and found the staff knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The process was easy and the results were amazing. Alittle pricey, but worth it.

Kids Creativity Camp was fun

Great location, helpful employees, lovely selection, and the sales are fantastic. Very happy the rewards program was added

This store has very nice faux flowers for my Grandparents gravestone, always in stock and beautiful! I just saved 70% on a very nice one! Tip: look up on wall in far corner

Always a good selection and the staff was helpful it was nice to see all the great fall decorations out and really made me want to buy them.

Made a pickup order this morning. I got the message confirming my order was ready. I go to the store, park in the designated spot, and use the app to confirm I was ready for someone to bring out the order.Nobody came out after 10 minutes, so I called. I was told they would bring it right out; you already know what happened next. Nobody came out after 15 minutes from the phone call. Ive waited 25 minutes total, I go in the store, and approach the pick up counter. Nobody was there, so I press the I would like assistance button, and was shortly thereafter approached by an associate. She was immediately snappy at me, clearly annoyed that I pressed the button. I told her I was there for an order, I gave her my last name but she said it wasnt there. We checked under a different name, and sure enough it was there. I apologized for my mistake and she proceeded to scold me about the pickup name and the name on the billing address (which evidently is the name they use for your order, NOT THE ACTUAL NAME IN THE SLOT THAT SAYS PICK UP PERSON) do not match and that i need to fix it. I showed her my phone, where it clearly states that I am the person that purchased the order, I am the pickup person for the order, and my confirmation code; she didnt want to hear it.She then made the assumption that someone bought my items for me and that they didnt put the correct name for the pickup person down on the order.Total bummer of a trip. I love Michaels and have shopped for them for 15+ years. However, I dont need to be reprimanded nor talked down to at the store that takes hundreds of my dollars every year. I think Ill take a break and give Joann a visit.Ps- She also wasnt wearing a mask. Real nice

I had no problem but I overheard someone yelling does anyone work here while we were there. Lol

Always a little too pricey, but great supplies. Very disappointed in the website and the curb service bit, not accepting cash for a pickup. Not all of us have credit cards Michaels! A bit stuck up if you ask, too good for money now. All the better reason for Hobby Lobby, no b.s.

Nice store and you can pickup/delivery UPS box.

Always have what Im looking for.

The Machesney Park, IL store is wonderful. During quarantine I used their curbside pickup service and it was PERFECT! Thank you!

If you love arts and crafts and fabric, then Michaels is an awesome place to go, my daughters favorite store

Always love the great discounts and clearance areas!

Clean store, nice.

Friendly staff in and out quick.

Michaels is awesome and dangerous to go into lol. They have everything a crafty person like myself needs haha.

Small store but decent selection

Great selection,,little on the pricey side

Friendly staff and good sales

Great sale items.

These gals are amazing! They helped me with my project and I guarantee I will be back for my next one. I wonder if they have any job openings? A+ location for service and selection

Love Michaels! Great selection, good sales, and they dont come with the terrible politics and oppression of women that you get with hobby lobby. Plus their selection and the quality of their items is better (at least in what I go for). Staff is also very pleasant to work with and willing to help

Cashier was nice and gave us 2 coupons for our purchase

The store is always clean and organized. The employees are very helpful.

Good selection of crafts and art supplies, and decent prices when items are on sale.

Who doesnt like to come to a place to create something amazing for someone and or give a gift to someone. Love coming here and you should too.

Have all art supplies I need.

Craft an art supplies very diverse, I go frequently just for ideas.

This store is amazing!! Has lower prices items and a clearance section...the only complaint I would have is there definitely needs to.have a bigger yarn selection, and a bigger volume.of those selections...but still an awesome store that id.pick over any other craft store

I used their custom frame team and Miley was awesome!

Clean store with a friendly staff!

This particular store has a limited stock than the one on E. State Street. Since I am typically looking for baking supply items not craft items, I rarely if ever find what I am looking for. They do have a large selection of craft and art supplies though.

Excellent place for hard to find craft items.

I when into Michaels to buy beads . And glue wire I couldnt find a wire I needed so ask young lady who work their .and with a bright smile she said yes ! And she did .love here help and how is she preceded herself with kindness and a smile like she wanted to help I wish I got her name it was in Machesney Park cute little girl thank you and if I get her name I will drop her name because she was very kind Im 62 and I walk with a walker very helpful to me saved my steps

Its amazing they have Halloween at 40% off and alot of nice products for your decorating needs, also they pulled out Christmas early!

They have a variety at this store. They have great sales also.

Love the selection and prices. Also very kind and helpful employees.

Great sale on yarn. Staff was helpful in answering questions.

Very clean store, and friendly cashier!

Awesome...had exactly what I wanted on sale!

Always friendly & helpful! Love to be able to pick up what I need for a project at a reasonable price - great coupons.

Ive always loved this store....

Love them they have everything you need

Last year my buddy bought a pink Christmas tree from here and I wanted to get her some matching ornaments. These were perfect! Even though the holidays brought in loads of people into the store, the associates were calm and helpful!

Always have what were looking for when we need it! Another plus is you can usually find a coupon to use for your purchase, not that theyre overpriced, but, who would complain about saving some money.

I found Harvest decorations

Great place to shop always has everything I need. only thing is employees could be a little bit more friendly and smile more. Will definitely be shopping here again.

Michaels has Saturday crafts for kids that my daughter and friends always enjoy. They have always been $5 or less. This summer they have had many different kinds of slime.I love shopping at Michaels, but it always costs me too much money! I am grateful for the coupons on their app., because I always forget my paper one.

Always clean and well organized. Awesome classes.

I love making gifts for my family. Especially jewelry and they have wonderful beads here.

Go here every year with my daughter on Thanksgiving. Frequently boring. Left in 2018 without buying anything.

Very helpful staff. Very well stocked

Always have great stuff. Online coupons are great.

My daughters and I always find fun things to take and make. Check for coupons online before you go! They offer a teachers discount if you show your current ID. With as much money as I spend here on my students, its greatly appreciated!

Samantha was personable and professional, she made my shopping experience amazing.

Reasonable prices and my daughter loves crafts

A great variety of arts and crafts.

So many things on sale-wasnt sure where to START looking around! I could spend hours in there just looking at the wide selections! Staff was very helpful and courteous. Store was exceptionally clean and smelled wonderfully of pumpkin spice!!! I walked right into a beautiful Autumn setting!

Came for an emergency gift for moms birthday and ended up with six! What an amazing store with courteous employees and a vast and unique array of products from home decoration and seasonal supplies to arts and crafts. I highly recommend a stop in for all who are interested

Prices are high and other customers are rude. Cashier was apologetic and kind.

The frane shop was wonderful. Very patient and helpful.

Everyone is very helpful.

I get lost in these great deals!

This is my favorite Michaels in the area. The staff is always nice, helpful, and able to talk crafts.

Had nothing I needed. Not the dark brown pom pom balls for my ornaments. Nor the tan ones either. Or the small push on clothespins I needed for my reindeer ornaments. Or the sizes of the styrofoam balls I needed for my snowmen ornaments. I am disappointed...my 2 Grandboys 8 and 4 dont get to give their class an ornament️️️!!!

Love this store, they have such a nice large assortment of craft supplies and gift giving ideas and ready made items. Very friendly and helpful of you needed anything

Cash register girl was pleasant, but no one acknowledged that I was there.

Everything you need for most any art projects!

Lots of selection, good awards program

Busy, but very helpful!

Great holiday decor selection and amazing prices! I bought the cutest holiday baskets 70% off!

Love this place

The store is nice and clean, but they have items mislabeled as far as sales go. I have this problem often with Michaels. Ive also had trouble with them honoring coupons.

Great product mix for any decorating or crafting project you may have! Very helpful, attentive staff, great prices. Small town craft store feel out of a big box discount chain. Love em!

Can easily lose track of time here

Its a wonderful place for Crafters, artists and floral arrangers.

Very clean and respectful

This is my favorite Michaels. I always find inspiring things to do. If you need help theres always someone close by. They are all very helpful and cheerful. For those who have allergies when it comes to stores that have scents and sprays this one does not bother me at all. And I am highly sensitive to that and lights

Always the best sales. Not very helpful at this location but the store is pretty self explanatory. Stingey with the discounts.

Never answered their phone.

At store about 11am, too few people working floor. Old store layout was more customer friendly. Employees do very well with customers but are overwhelmed. Take care of your staff and they will take care of patrons.

I cant believe how long it took to get an online order picked up... The staff was very busy and I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for my small order.

Great selection of crafts, some stuff is pretty cheap quality though.

Great selection of everything. Neat ideas, cool trends, awesome sales.

Love the deals here! Savings! Savings! Savings!

Great place to buy craft items of all kinds. Reasonable prices. Wide variety & good sales

Plenty of choices for those who like to create. Helpful and friendly staff.

Fun place for me to visit.

Good selection of yarn.

Great Place to get all your crafts!

My daughter loves this place but Im not a big fan

Nice place

Good variety. Pretty decent prices.

Did not have everything advertised.

This store is better than the Rockford location -- cleaner & less cramped. I also think it has a better selection.

Wide variety of merchants. Can always get help. Only 4 stars because they are a little bit pricey.
