Relaxing getaway

Rooms are nice but most of all the staff is great.

Its an amazing place to stay, it has everything you need and want for nice quiet getaways. Close to the boarder of Canada. Nice breakfast all you can eat waffles with hot chocolate and a fruit cup. Has a view of a nice golf course with bikes to rent at a decent price and court yard with rocking chairs and a swinging bench out back. Lynden has many fun shops and some of the best bakeries and restaurants in town! My wife and I love it here so pretty relaxing!

My husband and I made this reservation from Travelocity, we searched for a nice place to stay while coming from Nashville to see our grandchildren that we had not seen in 4 years. We paid a good amount for a week to stay here but when we got to the lodge our 7 year old granddaughter wanted to stay a few nights with us of course we could not tell her no as we had not seen her in 4 years. This place told us she could not stay with us unless we paid them $50 more a each night she wanted to stay. I was shocked! We had flown all the way from Nashville to be told in order for our granddaughter we had not seen in 4 year to stay a couple nights with us we’d have to pay this much more each night or she could not stay. Did I mention our 7 year old granddaughter was standing right next to us when they told us this and she was upset and said does this mean I can’t stay with you guys? I was appalled! I can understand maybe charging us an extra $10 but an extra $50 a night for each night (5) that she wants to stay with us! I will never stay here again nor will I recommend this place to other travelers. I have never had a place charge like this before whenever we have visited any of our grandchildren in any state. But here I was told This is Lynden! To me this was not very hospitable, friendly nor very kind!

This was a terrible place to stay. They do not come in to clean the room or refresh anything. We stayed 5 days and not once was the room cleaned, after just 2 days the toilet was black inside. We took pictures but unfortunately we cannot post them to show how disgusting it was for the remainder of our stay. We had an unexpected child stay with us for a couple days and they said the room would not accommodate her but it would certainly accommodated her just fine if we were willing to pay an extra $50 a night. This is NOT a good place to stay especially if you have children. Be warned if you do stay and bring children unexpectedly you will be charged outrageously and your room will not be cleaned during your stay.

The only thing that was wrong was that they did not provide any shampoo or conditioner, the breakfast was horrible and they charged us a $10 fee even though the room was in immaculate condition. Highly recommend it for going to the mountains, it is a great location! Has a really nice pool/hot tubs.

I normally go to the gym here, and lately have been using the driving range, always a good time either way. Have yet to try the steakhouse, though the choices they offer sound amazing.

This is owed by VI Resorts, a timeshare company, however there are private buildings nearby and homes. It is located on a golf course that had a restaurant, swimming pool, indoor/outdoor, and hottub. A few miles away is a beautiful park with lots of trails to hike.

Visited the fitness center while I was visiting family in the area. The gym facilities are nice clean with a large selection of machines as well as plenty of free weights and benches.

Very nice gym, bigger would be better, but its clean and taken care of.

I got a bed bug.Worst experience ever and customer service is very poor.I will NEVER visit there again

Nice comfortable rooms. A studio is roomy for 2 people. Full kitchen, too. Wish the bathroom was bigger. The door is too close to the toilet. Nice steak house and access to the fitness facility, including an indoor/outdoor pool. Close to cute shops and lots of restaurants. Definitely going back.

A great place to stay for a night or a few days. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are nicely appointed. Beds are pretty comfortable and with being on the golf course its quite and relaxing.

Older resort bldg on a nice golf course. Nice people lawn area, wooden swing, & BBQs available for use. Lovely grounds. Indoor/outdoor Pool & 2 hot tubs in separate building. Filthy changing/locker room. Water covered the floor, no locks available for free lockers. Cramped workout area, but nice variety. Restaurant in separate bldg also. Barely enough parking. Could use queen or king sized beds...double bed in our studio unit... too small for 2 adults. Had to close the bathroom door all the way to use the toilet. Had to climb over the toilet to get to the shower... what were they thinking! Very Disapointing.. as a Resort! Im used to plush when it comes to a Resort. Unfortunately, we would not return.

Nice quiet place. 1 bedroom condos are compact. Comfortable for 2 people but more would be awkward. Well appointed and very clean. Staff was friendly. We didnt hang around much during our stay but there didnt seem to be many who did stay around. However, there were a number of activities available - biking, golf, swimming, gym, walking, badminton. Maybe the intermittent showers put a damper on outdoor fun the week we were here.

We love this place for a few quiet days ! Lots of interesting places if you want yo travel around and a very peaceful resting place if you want to just chill! The staff is amazing and more than helpful!

The golf course is open to public and is very well kept. Lots of water in the front 9. Its a nice golf course development. Very good price for twilight rates.

My favorite spot to workout

The room was very nice and clean. The view from the balcony was sooo refreshing. Mt Baker shining in the distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lynden clean town with nice shops and restaurants.

Pillows are useless, bring your own. Everything else is lovely.

Nice quiet place with excellent fitness facilities

This resort has it all. Onsite fitness facility with all the equipment and classes that you could want. Golf course, barbeque facilities, full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry facilities if required, quiet and friendly staff. The town of Lynden has a wonderful village ambience with antique shops, restaurants and other unique retail such as balsamic vinegar and olive oil tasting. Dont forget Edaleens ice cream. Best Rocky Road in the world.

Staff &place was FABULOUS

Great place for rest and relaxation. Or, you can enjoy shopping in downtown Lynden with its Dutch theme. If you have your passport take a trip up to Canada its only a few minutes away. You might want see Stanley Park in Vancouver. Its about an hour drive. Its a five star park. You wont regret it. After exhausting Lynden take a short trip South to Bellingham and go shopping there. There are many restaurants to choose from. If you have a Yelp phone app search for best restaurants in town youll get a great list to choose from. Bellingham, being a college town, has all the culture entertainment to satisfy you. So if youre looking for a place for rest or relaxation or a place to springboard from; reserve your next vacation trip to Homestead Resort in Lynden, Wa. Youll be glad you did.
