This place was very good in many ways but I have never had a more disgusting brisket in my life. It taste like fish food and cat treats. I dont even think it was brisket and my kid threw it up. Also the price for the steak was not worth it at all. Other than that the appetizers and wings were good.

Last time I was here was 15 years ago. Thought the food was ok. Sat on the back deck and drank a few beers. Just average. Maybe another 15 before I go back.

The staff is great! They always strive to do the best they can and they treat people as fairly as possible. Nice atmosphere, especially on the back deck when theres music playing and Ive got a delicious burger in front of me to munch on. Its kinda sad when theyre out of something or a food item was discontinued but all the other pros make up for that.

Best wings in Lynchburg! I love em spicy so I get Habanero Dragon sauce with Ghost Pepper dry rub :)

They had an outdoor concert starting after hours and running until 1:00 AM Sunday morning. We live more than half a mile away the road and it was loud enough to keep us up for hours - horribly inconsiderate for a business in a residential area!

Great back deck, amazing staff, cheap drinks

We went on a Saturday night, and it wasnt too busy. The staff was very polite, and quick to help us. The appetizer, and meal, were both very tasty. The drinks were made well also. The environment was relaxed. Overall, a good chill place to have a drink and a bite to eat. Will be returning.

Sherry, Burt and the crew are the most down to earth establishment around. Perfect bar with an even better kitchen crew and great sounds. Better bar food than cooperate stores.

Early on New Years Eve, my girlfriend called the establishment to ask about business hours for the holiday. I was looking for a restaurant to celebrate New Years at that would be open past midnight. She was told that closing time was 2 a.m. Perfect. Since the Tavern is known for its adult-oriented atmosphere during certain events, she asked the employee if there was an age limit. Come one, come all is what the employee said. When my girlfriend, my 12 year old son, and I arrived at around 10:30, we were politely told by a waiter that there are no kids allowed that night. All the drunks and other patrons had their gazes fixed on us. The short experience was humiliating & changed my opinion of Stoney Badger Tavern. Ive dined there probably a dozen times in the past but because of this experience, Ill never return.

This is a good pub. They have regular live shows, standard fare pub food, a good selection of beers on tap, and a smoking area. The staff is kindly and know their business.

If you want a place with good food and a staff that has personality this is the place. They also play good music and steer clear of a lot of the trendy frippery.

Family friendly service. The chef even came out to say hello. He creates his own menu and is originally from CA. A great person!They have the best crab cakes I have ever had! They had more crab than Ive ever seen in a crab cake! The remoulade was the perfect touch!My husband ordered a burger that is wild! It included as far as I can remember, a piece of steak, an egg, pulled pork, a burger patty, and an onion ring. Everything was delicious! Definitely will be returning ! Andrew was a great server, bartender, and everything else!Smoking and non smoking sections are totally separate, including separate bars.Definitely returning and recommended!

Good atmosphere, definitely would come back on a Sunday to watch a few games. The server was great and did a great job considering he was all by himself, not sure if he was the only one scheduled or if others called out but he was busting tail and I’m pretty sure he was working both sides. My beer/glass smelled like cigarettes and it turned my stomach to the point I couldn’t really enjoy my food, but the French fries were delicious.

We celebrated Mothers Day there. Food was great. We enjoyed ourselves. Would probably do it again. Thanks stoney Badger

Great if you smoke. We came here one night and only the smoking area was open. I honestly didn’t know this still existed. Didn’t bother going in as I was already having issues with the smoke just standing in the door.

Just turned 21 last week and figured Id give this place a visit tonight. The service was good as were the drinks. Im a smoker so I appreciate that the bar is friendly to smokers. Im planning on making this bar a regular place of mine.

Absolutely horrible waited over an hour and watched twi tables get served before our appetizer came out waitress said it will be out when it comes out. Rude as hell and cook staff could be heard talking about our table stating i guess they dont want their damn food now. Have never had an experience like this here and i have had parties at this establishment before. I wanted a nice evening out with my family and instead had to go cook it myself. They need to retrain or hire new staff.

Ive only been here when Sonic Bloom plays, but its usually a good experience. I love their food. Only gripe I have is lack of servers/bartenders during events.

Love their wings and nachos! Sweet and spicy dry rub is my personal favorite. Ordering take out can sometimes be a pain cause mine has gotten messed up a few times but the food is always good and the people are always friendly!

Love coming here. Wednesdays are our Badger wings days. Wings are by far the best I have had in Lynchburg. Kudos to the staff for hospitality. Would definitely recommend.

The food was good, and so were the people. It was a little crowded and disorganized, but good atmosphere. Lots of regulars there, and thats what the place banks on, but they have a decent music venue and a good feel to the place overall. The menu has a pretty good variety too.

This is an awesome place they have open Mic nights on Tuesdays and ad well its taco Tuesday you can buy 3 tacos for $8.00 choice of chicken beef or pork also the club sandwich is to die for it comes with a side of French fries and if you go away hungry then u are not human its a lot if food for ur dollar oh the club sandwich is around $10 or %13 is all so please come check it out

Decent food, bartender in the nonsmoking area was very nice. The nonsmoking side was completely empty, so the atmosphere was relaxing. I had the BBQ ribs platter with broccoli and coleslaw. Nothing was amazing but everything tasted good and the portions were reasonable. I would come again.

I enjoy the place, havent been in a while but lately have been going back and its still enjoyable. Havent had a problem with the patrons and the staff are friendly. Music, food, beer is good. If youre not a smoker be aware the bar side is smoking friendly, or maybe check out the other side.

This place has a good atmosphere and a decent selection of beers. The staff is very friendly. They have live bands here as well. My only issue is that they allow smoking,bit this is certainly a plus for others

Ive been going to The Badger for the past 4 years or so and its a great place to hang out and drink beer with friends after work or class. They have a pretty good selection of local craft beers and great wings. Regulars give the owner a lot of crap and he does the same to us. Someone not in on the joke could misinterpret this banter, I suppose, but its all in fun.

Food was great and service was even better.

Came up from RVA for a show. It was our first time visiting. We parked on the side of the building and noticed an oven rusting on the side of the building. Ordered a sweet tea which was actually unsweetened. The tea tasted awlful. As the patrons started coming in we noticed that the vast majority of people were smoking. There was no way to escape the smokers because the band played in the same room. I am so thankful that we found an Outback steakhouse and ate dinner before the show. I dont know how anyone could choke down any food with everyone smoking. I noticed that people were not eating much of what they ordered. A woman next to me ordered a barbecue sandwich and the barbecue was dry and she could barely eat it. The smoking was so bad that I left my husband to watch the show while I sat in the car. We agreed we would not return even if this band played again.

Small local tavern, but has one of the best draft selections in the city. The wings are excellent as well, good selection of other foods as well, if they are available you should try the ribs.

Has the feel and look of a cheap hotel restaurant, but the food is fine, service is excellent!

It smells so bad. Even just going to the non-smoking side reaked of cigarettes. The beer selection is the same as every other bar. Id rather go where I dont have to deal with all of that.
