Great place for a meeting. MOWW meets there once a months for a dinner meeting with a speaker. Great venue.

Very Nice Country Club in the heart of Lynchburg Virginia. Awesome location for a wedding or event. Was there for a rehearsal dinner & a wedding the following day. Beautiful inside the country club, and outside. Food / Catering was 5-star. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had my wedding here 11-09-19 and they were phenomenal!! They were accommodating, and extremely helpful! Elyssa their coordinator was amazing. She answered any questions I had, and even offered suggestions or solutions to the usual wedding mishaps. Her team was so helpful as well!! I honestly cannot say a single bad thing about any of them or the Country Club. We had the whole upstairs and it was perfect. They assisted with the set up, and they made my vision come alive. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding or special event, seriously come here, you will not regret it!!! They also have a lot of great places for photography opportunities, as well as their Chef is fantastic!

We joined so my children can have somewhere to go and swim that was close to us. The pool was nice, always clean but there were some older women that yelled at my son for accidentally splashing water on them, told him he doesn’t belong there. The manager I spoke to was nice and did apologize but I am stuck paying for a year to somewhere my kids are scared to go to. We only really were going for the pool anyway. It would be nice if we had next summer free or not have to pay the remainder of the year contract!

My sister had her wedding here and they were amazing! It was gorgeous and fit her perfectly! They helped us with everything and we honestly had the best time collaborating everything with them. I would highly recommend for hosting any important event, lovely people and a beautiful setting!!

Oakwood is a turn-of-the-century country club full of vintage charm. They host tennis tournaments, run a community swimming pool, and offer space for events with catering.

Our family has enjoyed OCC for years and will continue to encourage others to join and enjoy this club.I was disappointed in the sub-par lunch offered at the recent LAL Championships, but understand that with such high volume inevitably comes a lower quality offering (sometimes). The staff, as usual, were courteous and hard working.That being said, just because you’re serving Grade E doesn’t mean you’re entitled to treat the customers like Grade E. I overheard a member politely ask the “Chef” to reheat their well done burger (the bun was cold out of the bag and the cheese looked like a cinema prop).Nigel reluctantly threw it back on the grill (literally) and, with the worst display of professionalism, said “.....this is how we’re serving everybody and no one else has an issue.”Vis a vie, suck it up and eat your low grade hamburger puck. That line of reasoning works only in correctional institutions.Bush league.

Attended a wedding reception, the food was excellent, the staff warm, professional, and the setting was warm and intimate!

Primary a tennis club. They have a restraunt and swimming pool. As well they are a place for wedding receptions and events like that. Restraunt also has a full bar.

Weve been coming to this pool for 8 years and the food here is delicious weve only had one problem with a waitress this year she was just really rude but everyone else is really nice though and we plan to keep coming to this pool forever
