Lake Como is one of the premier nudist clubs in the United States and definitely caters to the ethical naturist vibe without being out of touch from the rest of the world. It is a wonderful property and has every amenity you can think of -- your typical campground and RV park with year-round residents as well as overnight guests, ball courts for everything imaginable (tennis, volleyball, pickleball, petanque, etc.), a 9-hole golf course and driving range (wow!), and nature trails that are truly wonderful to explore. The property also boasts a pool, hot tub, sauna, playground, a lake with paddle boats and kayaks available for borrowing on an honor system, and two different locations where you can purchase food and beverage (were talking an actual kitchen with menus, servers, and made-to-order food). There is a small gift shop in the reception office as well -- we highly recommend the Butt Hutt tanktops! There is a lot of competition in Pasco County, Florida (the nudist capital of the world), but Lake Como delivers true naturist values and combines them with modern amenities to exceed expectations. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to our next trip!

True Paradise. 10-stars. Very Special and Spiritual Place. Grounds are immaculately groomed, peaceful, and crystal clean. Food at BareBuns cafe tastes better than any public restaurant. You can eat inside, out on the porch or poolside. I overheard other diners rave about the food too. The ButtHut is a classy island bar fully stocked. Quality is everywhere you turn. Poolside music, karaoke, the lakes, vollyball, the hot tub. I had a cottage, biked, and ran, and swam everyday. People make a place what it is, and the staff and residents here are like no other, from the gate, to the maintenance guys, the cafe, and the pool, they are all as special as family.

Great nudist community and resort. The activities here seemed endless. I especially liked hiking all the nature trail with absolutely nothing on. A true Naturist getaway.

Ive only ever visited there as a delivery driver, but all of the people I met there were nice. Theres something to be said for a lack of inhibition against societal norms I guess. They have a growth season in the winter months when people come in campers. There are events too. And if youre going to hang out there (pun intended) head to the Butt Hut. You should go there just for the fact that their bar is named that.

We visited this nudist resort for the first time even after all the times we vacationed in Florida. I recommend this resort for economic reasons or if you want a more quiet or cozy environment. The pool area is very good with the restaurant right next to it. The restaurant serves very good breakfast and lunch. We didnt do dinner, but I am sure it would be great. We initially stayed here upon arriving in Tampa and we stayed in the cottage accomodations then we traveled around Florida and came back to this resort three days before leaving. This time we stayed in one of the four cabins away from the main social area, and we definitely liked the cabin better. It was nice and quiet and the cabins were very clean and they kept it that way daily. One interesting thing we saw near the cabins were pretty big empty shells near the ditches. It had been raining every day in our stay in Florida for these last days of July and there was plenty of water in the ditches. Then we saw this stork that was staying close to the ditches and what it was doing was actually hunting snails. So we saw it find one and it snatched it out of the ditch and plucked the snail from its shell and eat it. Anyway we recommend the cabins because they have a screened in porch area to relax in. Only one negative that I have for the resort is they have a smoking section still in the pool area that of course you can still smell. Remember smoking sections on planes, for those that can, or separate smoking sections in restaurants or smoking sections at your work, they didnt deter you from smelling the smoke! So that did and would deter from your experience. Otherwise this resort with its small lake was great and would still recommend this place. Everyone was friendly too.

Had a great time with friends from Sunshower country club out of Indiana. We celebrated January birthdays. We had re-served the pavilion. Before that my friend and I enjoyed the hot tub and then the pool. It was cloudy but we still had a great day!

Great place to visit while in Land O Lakes

People were friendly. I would have given five stars but the staff wasnt very helpful when we got there. And they had the overflow packed in like sardines. However the pool was very nice and the hot tub also was nice both were clean.

My husband and I are thoroughly enjoying our 7 week getaway here. The staff here are very helpful and do everything they can to immediately address any issues that arise. We had an issue with the power to our unit and Tamra at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure we got fixed up. Maintenance staff and an electrician were dispatched and dug up the wire to our outlet and hooked up new wire to a breaker panel closer to our unit in less than half a day and we couldnt be happier! The pool is awesome - heated!!! Hot tub is large and well maintained!!! The restaurant has good food and pub always has something going on. Washrooms and showers are abundant and always clean as are the two laundry facilities.

This was the third visit for my wife and I, and our first without the kids. We stayed overnight in one of the Sandspur motel rooms, and absolutely loved it. The pool is open 24 hours, so we were able to enjoy a late night swim after having a few drinks in the Butt Hutt.Overall, the staff is friendly as are the residents and other guests, and the atmosphere of the whole place is laid back and refreshing. Even our drizzly morning hike on some of the trails was more refreshing than annoying.If youre just now thinking about trying nude recreation or a lifelong veteran, Lake Como is a wonderful spot to visit.

Great place to enjoy the nudist life. I was the in April prior to Easter weekend. You can enjoy the facilities along with others as much as you like or just escape for a walk on the nature trails. I RV camp there, however, the availability of sites is becoming more difficult especially during snow bird season.

We love Lake Como! Friendly down to earth people. Lots of events throughout the year. The cafe has delicious food and a Sunday breakfast buffet. A band at the Butt Hut at least once a month. Music by the pool on Sundays. You can get a massage by the lake. So many things to do. A visit to the website is a must.

I attended a special event at Lake Como in May. Lake Comp resort welcomed us into their facility. Great place! Friendly, safe, supportive. It was weird but surprisingly comfortable to enter the cafe, order & receive lunch, and enjoy it poolside all while wearing only sandals.

Nice music and good food and a pretty place. Place needs updated. Beach area is in need of work. No beach chairs. Pool chairs are mildewed. Facility needs updated. Its ok but compared to others...it needs more reinvestment from owners.

Came on the tour, paid $15. Just had time off and came back (Drove 1 hour). They did not allow non members. The lady at the front was very rude. They did not update to inform anybody. Ill never come back.

This is Gods country. Take a nature walk, relax by the lake in the shade of the great pine trees, swim in the pool aside the lake. The Sunday morning buffets are the best also with a beautiful view of the lake and the pool area! Check the website for frequent tournaments, music festivals, car shows and other entertainment.

1st time visiting, have a few friends that have been, I loved the property and the large number of amenities. I would be interested in learning more about the co-OP and the cost of the lots for sale.

This is our favorite nudist resort. It is surrounded by a nature preserve with several well maintained nature trails. They have all of the usual amenities and a helpful and friendly staff. But the woods and trails are our favorite part.

This is a great resort! There is so much to do there! Theres a huge lake and they have all kinds of crafts that you can take out there. The hot tub is one of the biggest and nicest, it gets really hot. Its a great place to bring a bike and ride around. They have volleyball courts, a basketball court, I think they have a tennis court too. Of course they have a pool, but they also have a sauna, a bar, and a really nice restaurant thats brand new. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful!Overall, this is one of the best nudist resorts to stay at!

Came here for the Burning Man festival to introduce myself to the nudist lifestyle. Camped Fri-Sun and had a great time. Plenty of things to do festival or not and the property and lake are beautiful. Good food, good times, great people. Swimming in the buff feels amazing, if you are like me and thought about trying the nudist resort thing but keep putting it off for stupid reasons I say take the plunge and go for it.

My wife and I had a great time today. Enjoying nature free of normal constritions was awesome. We will be back

My favorite nudist resort. Almost all amenities one can expect at such a facility. Tons of activities. Nice long trails for walking. Large pool maintained at perfect temperature. Even has a chipping golf course.

Relaxed, good facilities, really nice trails for walking; I was there for a mini Burning Man event on campgrounds just outside the ID security gate but Lake Como made us all feel welcome. Will be going back.

If youre a nudist, youll love this place, if youre not, enter at your own risk.

Great resort to relax and rid yourself of clothing. The resort is immaculate and well managed. The common areas and guest cabins are clean and well maintained. Pool is refreshing and inviting. Pricing is reasonable and inline with other nudist resorts. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the guests Ive met have been a pleasure to talk with. My only negative comment, the residents have been most unfriendly, and often have very loud political debates and discussions at the pool. Their opinions run very strong here, and they seem not to care sharing to everyone within hear shot. If youre easily offended by strong political opinion, bring your ear plugs as I do!! Also, the Confederate flag flying on a residential trailer across from the pool is a downer for me. Overall. ......nice, fun nudist resort.

It was just perfect. Went there as a couple with our kiddo enjoyed every moment. Amazing staff amazing nice people all around you. Loved hanging out at the pool as long as we could! The motel room we took was nice and clean, ac was amazing! We stayed with nights now I wish we extended a few more days ;(Would love to thank everyone in the resort the 2 nights we stayed! Everyone was very helpful staff, visitors and residents!

Beautiful location with Spanish Moss draped cypress trees around a lake. Several nature trails throughout the property. Pool, hot tub, sauna, pool tables, tennis courts, watercraft by the Sandy beach, pickle ball courts, all free and all with equipment for you to use free of charge with your daily fee. Motel rooms, cabins, RV and tent sites available for low fees. Full lakeside bar with TV screens. Restaurant. Activities. Amazingly friendly people. A unique, fun and wonderful way to enjoy a day, weekend, week or month. Heck, you can even purchase a manufactured home and live there! Family friendly. No adult activities allowed as in other nudist resorts close by. But this place is not clothing-optional. People are expected to be naked. So bring towels to sit on, sunscreen and a smile and enjoy all Lake Como has to offer.

Always good bands in the Butt Hut on Saturday night. Rooms and property are clean.

Good club except the RV camping area has serious problems with the electric power. Power pops for no apparent reason and the recommended “fix” is to try another outlet

Pure bliss amongst the serene draping cypress trees, and nestled ever so quaintly on the lakefront. Great for day. Stay for a weekend. Awesome vibrant people with lots of love to share.

This is Gods country. Gorgeous Lake, forested nature trails, warm water pool with handicap lift, huge screened-in hot tub, & outdoor showers. Newly renovated wooden bar with deck on the lake has karaoke, darts, and extremely affordable drinks. Huge recreation hall with dances and holiday events. Easily five stars when the new restaurant is finished being built!

What a surprise this place is. The first timer tour is a must do. Taking the golf cart out and driving through 200 acres is an event. Everyone is so calm, happy and kind. I would consider living here.

My husband and I went for the first time and we loved it!! We felt relax and confortable. All the people there was very friendly. You can bring your own food, they have a food truck for lunch and dinner starting at 4 p.m., they also have showers and bathrooms for the visitors. You can camping or rent a motel room or cabin. Many people live in this community and all are very friendly. Dont forget your sunscreen.

I love Lake Como! Its an AANR club. Everyone is very friendly.

We booked a room, checked in a proceed to enjoy the festivities. It all went south when we went back to the room turned down the bed to find soiled dirty sheets on the bed. A call to the office did bring us clean sheets; but when I asked to speak with the manager it took multiple calls and messages to have a conversation with the manager Renee. She left me a voicemail that said we got clean sheets so this was a non issue! Really, did she pay all that money to have to change her own sheets. She did not seem to think there was a problem and was not in the least bit apologetic for the situation. When I spoke with her she was not at all what you would expect from a manger. Sadly, that was probably our last visit to this resort.

Wonderful people and a beautiful property. Take a break and walk the multiple nature trails or play some great volleyball on the many courts.

Well Ive never got to enjoy a recreation visit however Ive been trimming the trees in Como since 97 and have never had a bad experience with anyone there and the Bare Buns restaurant makes a great bacon cheeseburger

Our first visit. Not quite as fancy as Cypress Cove but considering that is a lot cheaper its wonderful. The people were open and friendly, as nudist always are, and the grounds were very clean and neat. Hiking trails are very well trimmed making long walks easy for any age person. Stayed for the Super Bowl Party during which the waitresses worked very hard. Draft beer and wine are super cheap. Apparently this place is being run by/as a co-op without the intent to make huge profits. Get in on the deal before they figure that out. Cant wait to go back.
