We were so happy on Angels gymnastics. My daughter learned a lot of new skills at the same time had a lot of fun and she could not wait to be there every single day. Tony is an excellent coach and a better human being.
Great place, kids love it!
My daughter had been in other gyms, she arrived to Angels gymnastics to optionals team level 8. All I can say is my daughter loves this gym, the coaches are very experienced, professional and dedicated to your childs progress. Tony, the optionals team coach took my daughter all the way to Regionals, he is a top notch coach thats knows his thing. His methods are fun and dynamic and this keeps kids engaged, kids have fun, make friends and learn awesome skills. I would recommend this gym for your child if you want your kid to practice real gymnastics, stop looking and join angels !
My daughter started in camp at age 9 and 10, then took lessons at 10 and then joined the team at 11 . Angels is the ONLY place my daughter ever loved- she tried dance and cheer and hated both--- she liked piano but the music teacher told her to practice and dont come back for a year . So now she just turned 13 in level 4 team and its good for her. She works hard to get results. Camp is all fun btw --(not hard work like the team can be )with arts and crafts and a mix of activities. The owner, Tony, is an enthusiastic, very experienced coach and he takes an interest in each child on the team - - he and the coaches give plenty of individual attention to my childs skill needs but ALSO are positively shaping my child for all of life challenges not just gymnastics. This is super important to me--------- ---We have had several great coaches Charley, Jordan and Allegra in the past and we love all 3.. My daughter and I get attached to each coach and it can be hard when a coach changes or leaves . This is 1 thing I would like to happen less but part of life is adapting to change. Anyway this is a gym with great equipment, a smaller team compared to other places and team bonding events and a good place to make friends. Everyone there works hard to give each class the best - - they will not have time between classes to chat so when I have questions I ask the coach when is a good time to talk. Some of the parents are very demanding between classes and - I feel sorry for the coaches -- I will finish with it is very rewarding to see my child at competitions and states and see how proud and excited she is .
Angels Gymnastics has been a perfect fit for our kids. Both my daughter AND son are on competitive team there and are thriving in a positive, nurturing environment!! We tried another gym, which was nice but we had to return to Angels because they are just so amazing. We are so thankful for Coach Tony, Coach Sherry, Coach Josh, Coach Gabby, Coach Nicole, and Coach Ashley for all the time and effort....we are FOREVER GRATEFUL!!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!
Love the personal attention the kids get! In just a few months my daughter has excelled more than she ever did at another gymnastics place. They teach with love!
The staff are so great with the children they are teaching! All the children are happy and excited to participate too.
We have only be at this facility for 2 months now and I am so far pleased the teacher talks to me after every session and gives me an update on how my daughter is doing she does her best to correct techniques if being not done properly sometimes she may not see all the mistakes but I can tell she does her best to give each student her undivided attention throughout the duration of class. My daughter did a skill that was hard to do and she got to ring a bell and what happened after touched my heart once the bell was hit the whole gym stopped what they were doing and watched her do it again young old and even coaches and then everyone clapped for her I was so happy and touched to see the support from everyone. What a way to make it extra special for her. A few weeks later she was hurt doing a cartwheel and they contacted me right away and took great care of my baby comforting her calming her down. I would recommend this facility to anyone thank you angels gymnastics!
Love them!! Both my daughters have started and they absolutely adore CoachAvry!!!! She is amazing . *****
This place is magic! Locally owned, has its own vibe, not some corporate conglomerate with robitic staff. Love it!
There are better gyms in the area then this one. They dont have a level 4 team and the owner is always complaining about the parents.
All the Coachs are great!! It is a very encouraging atmosphere for my daughter. We love it at Angels!!
This place is horrible! I was so excited when I saw a gymnastics facility in the Lutz area and couldnt wait to get my daughter enrolled. On our first class, the teacher didnt call names, she stood off to the side and other children who knew her, ran right up to her. We waited for 10min before I went up and asked why she wasnt called and Tony, the owner, asked why she didnt go...told him because its our 1st day and we dont know who Amanda is and she never called names (DUH). There were 10 girls who were enrolled in the class...which was great for my daughter as she is a social butterfly. Unfortunately, she gets easily distracted and sometimes needs help with simple commands (this was stated to the owner when I signed up). The first thing that really bothered me was that the teacher was never able to pay attention to all of the children in the class and would let them pretty much do whatever they wanted and wouldnt correct any of their technique. She had them go down the trampoline and didnt even watch, but instead talked to a fellow coach, as my daughter tried to do a cart wheel right off the edge of the trampoline. She was fine...but the point is that the coach didnt even see it...she was too busy talking to the owner, Tony. I decided to give it another try the following week and the same thing...she didnt correct anything wrong they did nor pay attention. She would show them what to do and then stand back and basically have them play. Other parents, including myself, were a little frustrated that she never paid attention, nor helped them do anything. These kids are 5 & 6...they need to be helped (especially in gymnastics where they can break their necks). When I voiced my concerns to Tony (the owner), he immediatley got defensive and said well its not my fault your child cant pay attention. REALLY?!?! Shockingly I still remained calm, until he basically called me a liar by saying that his teacher is a champion in gymnastics and knows what shes doing and wouldnt have done this. I suggested that maybe there should be 2 coaches with a group this big and he laughed and said no place does this. CORRECTION: most places do this...I was in gymnastics for 7yrs and we always had 2 coaches with a group that size. I also brought up how my daughter fell off the trampoline and couldve been seriously hurt, because the coach was too busy talking...his response was: thats why you signed the paper that said we are not liable for any injuries. At this point I lost my temper and wanted my money back. NOT ONCE did he apologize, he simply handed me my money back. I am not a hard person to please, but the way the owner acted blew my mind. I would never recommend this place. And I have had 8 friends who have finished out their month with Angels and gone elsewhere....Go to premier in Wesley Chapel- they are fantastic and very friendly.
My daughter loves gymnastics and is learning a lot
