Being here is a great experience for kids. For only 7 dollars you can ride the pony’s or horses and have like 7-12 laps around. It’s a cheap place your kids will enjoy.

I never gave out one start review to any business because it is challenging to run a small business. But after serious consideration, I decided to give out this review. On Thursday, Match 5th, I wanted to organize a private horse-riding with my companion. Although Ponylandia was closed on Friday, a staff named Mike (if my memory served me well) would love to offer me a private event by charging $50 per person per hour, which was $10 extra per person per hour. I was grateful for his offer. There were a few showers on Friday. On Friday afternoon, Mike called me and asked me if I mind riding in the rain. Of course, I didnt mind as long as it was safe. I answered. But I didnt know that my decision then caused me a lot of trouble and unhappiness till today. At first, Mike was late for 15 minutes. I didnt mind since Friday was supposed to be his rest day. Then when we asked for disinfected helmets. Mike shook his head, which meant that no helmet provided. I was a little shocked. Later, because of the muddy trail, our horses refused to move. We were stuck before a muddy pathway for around twenty minutes. Our horses tried to walk back themselves. Mike and his helper (a young man in his early 20s) tried very hard to force our horses to cross the path. Although we tried to communicate with Mike to cancel the event before the crossing, Mike reassured us that everything was fine. Of course, it wasnt since our horses werent happy. At the rest of the riding, it was torture. Our horses tried to rub our legs against the thorns, stopped at will, bumped our legs into trees or other riders, etc. My companion and I had some experience of riding horses, but we couldnt control two unhappy and unfamiliar horses. We were shocked at the idiosyncratic characters of our horses, which was so raw and untrained. We got cuts everywhere. Because my companions immune system wasnt robust (my companion got infections from fungus before) and had sensitive skin, my companion cried (yes, my companion shedded tears because of the pain) for cancellation for several times during the ride. But Mike turned a deaf ear to my companions request. Since I had zero knowledge of our whereabouts, a supposed to be pleasant horse-riding turned into an abduction. After the torture was over, Mike did offer us alcohol to clean our cuts. He asked me for money and promised to provide me with discounts next time. Since I was a tourist there, I had no choice but to hand him a $100 for a trip less than 30 minutes ride and cuts all over our bodies (see photo attached). By writing this review, I hope that what happened to us will never happen to anyone else. Thank you for reading!

Great experience! My 4 y/o daughter had a blast today riding a horse. The staff is very polite and helpful. They are also very safe and the horses are healthy and nice. Great customer service overall. You can not go wrong, it is cheap and very fun for the kiddos. I highly recommend it.

Love this place can’t wait to go back. Staff was extremely friendly. Perfect location. t’s near the kioskos in Luquillo and El Yunque.

Amazing adventure.. Those guys were great. . Trail had beautiful scenery.. Worth every penny. I would have paid more than 35 for the hour that they charge.

A nice place to bring log and young to ride horses. The staff are great. Also they have a trip by the mountains and by the ocean shore.

Fun for kids. Great when is not busy. When we are there, only 3 kids riding, so they let them ride longer than the 7 typical rounds.
