I love this place and there food

Amazing place for fun for families, kids, or even just adults who miss when skating rinks were the thing!The staff were all EXTREMELY helpful, friendly, and down to earth. They had games to play such as Nerf wars (on the rink) and wrap the rink (they three out new rolls of toilet paper for fun and let skaters throw it around to kind of TP the rink), and a countdown to midnight on new years Eve where the staff released balloons filled with prizes for the skaters.It was amazing, the staff are amazing, and I WHOLEHEARTEDLY reccomend!

There was a time when I would have given the skate ranch four stars at least....I am a grandmother I raised my children who went there when they were kids now my kids have kids who go there .about seven or eight months ago my granddaughter and one of her friends who she has known since she was 7 years old got into a fight at the skate ranch. Granted, it wasnt right what happened and they both made a terrible mistake. However they have since made up and are friends again but apparently the manager has told both of them that they are banned from the skate ranch for life and will never again be allowed to come to the skate ranch. My granddaughter just turned 14 years old she was 13 when this happened. because we live in lufkin there is virtually nothing for kids to do here. the skate ranch was a place where she gathered to meet friends and went there for years with no problems. she has lost some of her friends because she is home-schooled and the skate ranch was one of the few places she had to go to socialize. She has become very depressed. She has gone to the manager of skate ranch and expressed her remorse twice. The manager has shown no mercy and both times has told her to get out. my granddaughter is not a troublemaker she is a good kid who got into an altercation with a childhood friend and made a mistake. Apparently the manager of the skate ranch thinks she should pay for this for the rest of her childhood. I will never see the skate ranch the same again as I did when my kids were growing up.

I always have a good time at Skate Ranch. The place is clean and comfortable. Owners are good people, staff great too. They are family and individual friendly. Everyone of any age who likes to skate can have a blast here!

We had 2 grandsons birthday parties there on Sunday 2/23/2020... the lady behind the counter was the bomb! She kept on top of it ALL! Friendly and was very patient with all the little kids! We will be back!

This place was great! It had a good vibe and the staff was helpful and friendly. The inline skates I was using were a little worn but to me that is part of the experience.

Attended Great granddaughters birthday party. The kiddos all had a great time. The facility was clean and attendants were very nice and polite.

This is a Lufkin classic. Ive been several times over the years and its always fun. I wish they would put a sign out on the loop because you almost forget its there the way its tucked away. If they did some advertising, Im sure they could get more business. Between this and Hijinks, its about all there is to do around here strictly for entertainment.

Its a good place to go to have fun with friends and or family so yea and I really enjoyed it .

This is the best place EVER to have a party!!! The staff is amazing and super sweet!!!! They even have a rug rats space for smaller kids to play!!!! We will definitely be having another party here

Had a super great time . price wise was great and snack bar was excellent . but would like to see an up grade on the vending machines . some were not working but still taking your money . overall good place to take your kids .

The ladies at the front desk were super helpful and so amazing! We had my daughters birthday party there today and I was running late and they were very understandable and didnt cancel it on me. Definitely will be going back!

We recently had a birthday party there. They have updated the place! We enjoyed our time there. I actually reserved a party area for the wrong day and showed up to have the party with family from out of town. They were more than accommodating. They allowed me to have the party anyway! We will be back.

I loved it! Floor is awesome! The people are friendly. The music is mom approved. Nothing skanky nothing provocative. Food is good and decent priced. Skates are in excellent shape. I will come here from now on. They also have great party packages. Its not over crowded at all. I absolutely loved it.

Its very clean, safe, and fun but the workers seem very unhappy and depressed but when we went near them they acted all happy and joyful it kinda seems a bit strange

Terribly disappointing. I typically go here with little to no problems, Ive had issues here and there over ridiculous things but they were typically too little of an issue to not come back. But this time it was completely ludicrous. I wasnt the victim, I was a witness as was my boyfriend. My sister, my step brother, and my two friends were accused of exchanging drugs and cursing at children. As we are all around the ages of 13-16, we didnt expect the approach this worker had given us. Extreme aggression and attitude over things that we hadnt even done. My sister had been skating off the skating floor and muttered to herself screw it, to which in turn a large group of little children told her screw you! So by then she decided to sit down, and she said the s word among me and my friends. Mind you, it was not that loud. We sit very close to the booth, because we typically sit there. The worker who worked at the booth came out and informed my sister not to curse so loudly. We apologised and moved along. Later, a different worker comes along, sits next to my sister and gets so close to her face. She says We do not accept cursing at children or handling drugs or cigarettes in this building. If you have a problem with it, theres the door. If you have a problem with me, say it to my face and Ill handle it. Say it behind my back and Ill know you did. I didnt really mind them telling my sister not to curse in front of children and such, but accusing her of passing around drugs and cursing directly at children? Firstly, the children were the ones who had cursed at her, me and my boyfriend had heard it ourself. Secondly, you couldve handled that so much more professionally than you did. Then whenever we attempted to leave, they said we couldnt were minors. Luckily our mother had arrived soon after, but my sister had already had a terrible anxiety attack from the attitude and accusations. Even whilst the lady was accusing her of passing around drugs, whenever me and my friends promptly said we didnt do drugs or cigarettes, the worker at the booth repeatedly said check their pockets! That is not allowed obviously, and they threatened to call the police even though we hadnt.done.anything. All I will say is that it is definitely not for someone who is older than 10 years old.

We just went was taking my daughters but i was getting charged for my Autistic son he cant skate and he wont it was a huge disappointment i told the Lady his not going to skate but she said she needed to charged me for his admission even tho he wasnt going to skate never coming back or was it cus we were Hispanics it just dont make sense

I couldnt help but give it a little more than face value because of nostalgia. I grew up roller skating here and now my kid is too. It seems like they are always working on something to change or make the place better. It is a mom and pop owned skate rink. Nothing fancy but the kids are safe and have a great time.

This place is awesome. Friendly staff. Skaters are nice, and helpful. Very fun time, clean atmosphere. We will be back and I recommend.

Bad experience will not be going back... i was accused of cussing at younger children and passing around drug paraphernalia... being the mature 16 year old i am i DO NOT WHATSOEVER use drugs... i study in forensics and drugs and i am aware of the consequences. as do my friends the situation that happened tonight was not handled by staff properly and outside the place whilst waiting on my ride i had a anxiety endued attack... because of the way things were handled... i had gone there to work on my project for English as to why this place was my favorite place.... to say the least i wont be doing my project on this place anymore... i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone above the age range of 12

I enjoyed myself at Ranch skating place even though I didnt skate. My sister and her children enjoyed roller skating.

The lady sold me a $3 for a drink and said it was free refills and when I went to get it refilled she charged me $1.75 ugh!! I would have brought the cheaper cup if she was truthful. The only food that we bought and got hot was the French fries, the cheese sticks were hard and cold after being cooked. I do NOT recommend this place to eat lol it is gross

Very Friendly and Family oriented! The facilities were very clean and smelled fresh. Great music was played, nothing with offensive lyrics etc. The kids loved the many games like limbo, races etc. Drink prizes were given to the winners.Looks like a great place to plan a party with ample seating and room for fun, ice cream and cake.I love that they let adults out on the floor to walk with little ones learning to skate.

It hasnt really changed much from when I first started going in the 90s. If you went in the 90s then you will experience about the same experience. Not bad just the same old skate ranch.

Vending machines ripped off my 5 yr old and made her cry. Their reply we dont own them was working use at your own risk. Who does business like that? Well the lost 100s $ from my family and thousands in future from that move.

It is soo much fun if you are starting out you may fall alot but when you get good at it you will have sooo much fun!!

March 2018: They did not anticipate this last Paw Patrol event! Not only did we not get to skate because we had to wait in line instead, but my kid cried half the way there while waiting!Update: January 2018- About a month later they had an event to meet Gekko from PJ masks! We were stoked and prepared ourselves for a nice turnout since this next time, they were taking reservations! I bought my son and my coworkers 2 kids passes and shirts! It was a total rip! We got in there, skated for like 30 minutes, went to order food, they werent serving pizza so had to get 3 kids and 3 adults all separate items which was a huge pain! When we got our shirts, we quickly realized that the gekko mask is upside down, I confronted them about it and all I got was a Ill ask the manager when she gets back lol! We didnt even get to enjoy our food because it took forEVER to come out and they cut us off and pretty much MADE us all leave and be out by 1pm!I will never trust an event or spend any money ever again doing there extras (shirts, events, etc) Ive been in once with my kid, mom, neice and nephew and it was alright! Still took FOREVER for our food, and what a shocker... No pizza!

The skate ranch is dirty, old, and children the have no supervision. But this is Lufkin no one knows what a nice skating rink looks like. So I guess it is okay for our town. It really needs to be remodeled, the rink itself really sucks.
