What an interesting place. At the time of our visit they were setting up a new exhibit so there wasnt much, but there was some local paintings that were beautiful. The museum was attached to an old church that was just beautiful. The ladies that were there were so nice and helpful. A very pleasant experience
They have a great variety of art
Due to covid we could not enter
My daughter went to a weeklong day art camp this summer at the Museum of East Texas, and it was a great experience! The staff was very kind and accommodating, and my daughter had a wonderful experience. The price was also very affordable! I havent really checked out the museum itself yet, although we plan to soon, so I cant really comment on that yet.
Loved the festival of trees exhibit. They have a walker and wheelchair available if walking through the 150 + indoor exhibit is a problem for you. We purchased a glass angel for our Christmas tree ornament this year from the gift shop. They sponser art camps for all ages and offer scholarships so all can attend. Hope I can attend sometime. All areas are wheelchair accessible as are bathrooms.
Took my 4 month old son when my mom and grandmother went to festival of trees. They all had a blast new Christmas tradition
Had seen advertised where Festival of Trees was suppose to be opened today. 40 min drive there with my kids just to find out they were closed due to getting ready for a gala. On their pg saw where they didnt even announce closing for today til about the time for opening.Myself along with others whom I spoke to in parking lot didnt know of closing either. Very disappointing . I would make sure to call before going to any of their events first
A lot of history brought back memories. Young generation should go to learn about the history
Took the wife to see 162 Christmas lights on display. The people that were there are so friendly and accommodating. Thanks

Its a great place to go see stuff about about lufkin and Texas pass
We always enjoy visiting the MET, but especially around Christmas. The local artwork is nice and the summer art camp for the kiddos is great!

This is very interesting place to go visit and the attendants are very helpful and nice. Plus its got an awesome amount of art to check out.
Lovely space. Interesting, if limited, exhibits. Great for kids.
No changing table.
Check their website out for whats on display. They were renovating when we visited but the volunteer was very welcoming and had all sorts of great things to tell us. It is a must see if you are in the area!
Fantastic museum - great rotation of exhibits as well as activities for kids.
