This is such a great outing during the pandemic, when the options are so limited for date nights or getting together with friends, especially during the winter months. They offer sanitized pods that you can reserve online for a reasonable price ($40ish depending on the pod) for up to 6 people, then have free play during the 1.5-2 hours. They have exciting cocktails, and even port and cider, along with free snacks. Service is great!

We stumbled in not entirely knowing what the flip side had to offer. the staff were incredibly nice and helpful with letting us know how they were set up due to covid! we “rented” the air pod which had 4 games and the air hockey table. it’s an hour per person, and all of the games are on free play mode. it’s entirely worth your visit especially if you have a party of 4-6! there was only 2 of us this trip but it was loads of fun and we’ll be back to try another pod.

Im afraid I did not have the pleasure of visiting pre-COVID. However, now I can say that they are dealing with the new setup incredibly well. The staff is busy but so friendly and working their butts off to make everyone happy. Its also very clean in the individual pods with hand sanitizer available and someone checking in for drink and food orders regularly.

The Flipside is a must stop for anyone in Loveland. Fantastic service and a great selection of pinball machines and arcade games. With the new accommodations theyve made due to Covid-19 laws, my family and I were able to enjoy a private, safe, and fun experience for my birthday. If I could give 10 stars I would. :)

We visited on a quiet Sunday night and met Rachel and Kyler who were fantastic. Theyve made some really smart adjustments to how they operate for COVID. Now, the different games are sorted into pods of maybe 5 or 6 games each. You reserve a pod with your group at an hourly rate (2 hours at a time if I remember right), and then you have freeplay with those games. No coins required. Plus, once youre in your pod, your group can take masks off. They sanitize everything down between groups and take it really seriously. I was impressed.Even though we didnt have a reservation and it was almost close, Kyler let us drop into one of the pods for a cheaper rate. We got a few drinks (they have a surprisingly big menu and a lot of beers on tap!), and had a blast. Rachel was our bartender and took good care of us. Once the other group that was there left, Kyler let us pick the music and continue playing while they cleaned up. It was a fantastic time for a spontaneous decision to pop in. I appreciate the great customer service from Kyler and Rachel!

Came in during covid and the way they set up the shop was awesome for families to have fun. My kids had a great time and the beer was great. Local, craft, and with variety. Will definitely be back.

I this place! Having a pinball and beer/drink place is a great idea.Considering the games not withstanding, the MAIN reason why I go here, is the staff is just SO friendly. They are always smiling, talkative and engaging. In a place with so many distractions and younger people, I find this to be welcoming.The games are great, lots of choices of pinball, skee-ball and even a couple of old school video games.They have a decent drink selection as well!

We just went for drinks before we went out to dinner because our friends recommended as a fun place with bartenders that enjoy making whatever you want and that was true. We enjoyed different Mules from the happy hour menu, a Corpse Reviver, and a martini. The personable bartender said she was enjoying that we ordered things she hadnt made in awhile and that we all ordered different things. Drinks were well crafted and delicious! They also have tasty complimentary snacks which was a pleasant surprise. Its a clean and colorful place with cozy seating areas and no bar atmosphere. We will definitely return and enjoy the arcade next time.

What an amazing pinball place! I was really impressed with how well all the machines were shopped. They also had a lot of limited edition new machines and some real Oddities that Ive never seen before. Do yourself a favor and check out the fortune teller machine if shes on its the most advanced youll see I promise

Perhaps the best hidden gem in downtown Loveland! The Flipside has it all... A Great selection of games, Fantastic drinks for adults and kids, and the staff is Super friendly and welcoming. We went for the first time on a nice Sunday afternoon and definitely had a blast there. The pinball machines are top of the line and our bartender was Awesome! This place is a lot of fun! I love the old style pin ball games! We had some Moscow mules for drinks, played the 4 person Pacman, and played lots of pinball. The games are a bit pricey, which ended up limiting how long we stayed. Expensive games at places like the summit at least give you points to purchase arcade style prizes. I dont need the prizes, but spending 75 cents for each game of ski ball gets expensive rather quickly...

Never can go wrong with some pinball and some free snacks. Great part of downtown that really feels like it belongs and makes downtown Loveland feel homey but not in a way like mold town.

First time in and I had a blast! Games and drinks (and I dont have to travel all the way to Denver? Yes!) Good selection of liquors and the staff made us feel welcome. Im a nerd and I felt right at home. Snacks are free and you can have as much as you want. Truly a great experience!

Theres a restaurant in Seattle, WA that decided to charge men an 18% surcharge because they were men. After a few months of this idiocy they announced that theyre closing their doors. Apparently the Flipside subscribes to a similar philosophy.One of my sons was having a drink with friends. When he tried to talk to one of the bartenders, she called him a misogynist and told him to leave. Not wanting to push a bad situation, he did. The next day he was irritated at the way that he had been treated, so he went back, lodged a complaint with one of the managers and said that he felt he was owed an apology. They told him that they would check out the situation.He returned a few days later with his 2 young daughters and when he asked about the status of his complaint, the manager (who was not present when the original event occurred) accused him of making lewd remarks to the bartender and making people feel uncomfortable. My son told him straight out that claims that he made lewd remarks were a bold faced lie and that he was not responsible for other people feeling uncomfortable about him.The manager responded by telling him that he WAS responsible for the feelings of others and told him that he was no longer welcome there.So much for the customer always being right.My advice is that if you want to go somewhere to have fun, this likely isnt the place for you. If you want to go somewhere to be yourself, this likely isnt the place for you. If you arent concerned how others feel around you, this definitely isnt the place for you....and if anyone working in this place makes you feel uncomfortable, dont ever expect an apology.

A flashy establishment with poor customer service. This problem is only furthered by the owner keeping and protecting his rude Bartenders; who have had multiple complaints lodged against them for their poor service, and bad attitudes. (Just select 1 star on Google reviews, to see my point.)The staff also seems to have a problem with telling lies when it suits their needs. If you want a good place to play a few games over a drink, I would recommend Pinball Jones In, Fort Collins, over this sewer any day.

So I really enjoyed this place! It was very clean and had a really great vibe. The service was great and the bartender is working on a signature cocktail. Its called a Jamaican mule and its quite tasty! They also have free snacks... Just FYI. The games were all in really great condition and they worked really well. I especially enjoyed the ski ball and air hockey. I had a really great time... It you havent been its worth checking out!

Fun Place, great for the whole family. Brought my dad in to play pinball, he hasnt seen a game since the 70s and couldnt get him out of there. It was great seeing him have such a good time.

Fun place to play some classic arcade games. Ski ball will eat your money if you don’t roll the ball quick enough, but other than that, super fun place. They have an atm if you don’t have cash, and a quarter machine for bills up to $10s.
