Very pleasant experience. Locker room small. But very clean. Water temperature in both the shower and pool comfortable.

They are going the extra mile during COVID and its greatly appreciated. It would be nice if they would/could restrict anyone not wearing a mask from entering.

Really wonderful recreational facilities! Nice pool with all kinds of aquatic classes for all ages! Also indoor racquetball courts. I am most interested in all of the yoga classes that are taught here. You dont have to buy a membership fee for the yoga classes either. They are pay as you come, and first come, first served. No reservations for yoga classes. Good variety of classes as well! Excellent facility with outdoor walking course as well with a small lagoon and several of Lovelands famous statues are located throughout the premises! Absolutely beautiful campus connected to the Civic Center, and other city offices. Also on the campus is the historic, and absolutely beautiful Washington School, built in 1905 (113 years old!)!

Nice facility with clean locker rooms and friendly staff. There is a family locker room area, which is really convenient for parents with little ones. The indoor and outdoor hot tubs are nice, too. I swim here when visiting my in-laws, and the daily use fee is about 5 bucks for an adult, which is very reasonable for the size of the facility. My only wish is that the lap pool was a touch cooler, but its ok.

The Chilson Rec Center is a staple of our Loveland community. The staff is always friendly, helpful and dedicated to serving our citizens. The facility has everything you need relating to wellness, including an indoor and outdoor hot tub. They even a steam room! I highly recommend this local facility.

Ive been here with my friend Camden a lot before and it is an awesome place to swim during the winter time. My favorite feature is the outdoor hot tub because it is 2-6 degrees warmer than the indoor hot tub, has no lifeguard, I feel more independent in it, and I love it that the minimal age for it is 16 instead of 18 years old.

Great place to take kids to swim & join them in the fun. Theres a lazy river that has currents &, a vortex area, that my granddaughter says it like being flushed. The slide is long,fast & fun! Theres a big play area for toddlers with fun interactive water toys & a slide at one end & the other end has a tall fountain that has its own surprising touches, & two stationary water guns that can be moved side to side, up & down. From the toddler play area to the fountain area it is all in about a foot of water, theres also a 4ft deep area where you can play basketball. If you just enjoy swimming, theres a separate area next to the play area. For the kids it starts at 1ft gradually into-3ft. feet & 4ft deep lap lanes, hot tub & stem room. All indoors. Good times!

The staff can be abrupt at times and pool rules seem to fluctuate (tubes in lazy river etc ) and pool temps can be chilly especially w fans blowing but.... Its pretty clean, affordable, convenient and my grand kids and daycare kids love going

Was a fun place to swim. However, my sister broke out in hives after we got out of the pool. If any employee would tell me what chemicals you put in your pools that would be greatly appreciated.

Im taking my 5 year old son to a hip hop dance class there and hes loving it. Today was the first time I came to the Chilson Center. I stopped by the front desk for directions and the staff was super kind and helpful. Walking through the center left a good impression. Im looking forward to coming back to use the pool and weight rooms. I was impressed by how many staff members were out and about helping people out.

We live the classes they offer, from kids gymnastics to Zumba. Quality machines and super fun events like glow -swim make it an exceptional recreation center.

Wonderful facility with activities for all ages. Swimming, hot tub, steam room. Great live music dancing every other Monday night. Check their web page for complete listing of activities.

Great Family friendly staff but facility is a little dated and rec district needs community investment

I love the Chilson. Its an amazing place to spend time as a family. I was there taking my four year old to the Tumbling Tots class, and Alex was the instructor, he was SO amazing!! Its very affordable and a great summer activity I would recommend to any parent with a toddler!

Pools cool, smells a bit too strongly in there though. A/c is om blast in the locker rooms so it goes from nice warm, chlorine smelling pool area to Artic temps real quick. Sauna is a bit much, can be hard to breath and see but over all fun. Everything else seemed in pretty good condition and the locker locks are new and easy to use.

We love the pool and hot tub area, great place to work out, amazing preschool, popular place to go for teens for basketball etc, people love to play racquetball here, they have a kids night out every Saturday and its a beautiful location-right next to the library and down the street from beautiful, historic downtown Loveland

Chilson Center is great fun. Lots of things there. Reasonable prices and membership like deals.

Overall a really nice Rec Center in the middle of Loveland. I have been coming here for 6 years. The facility is always clean, and the stuff if usually overall very nice. The locker rooms are nice but the shower areas need a renovation bad. The gym is really nice and has everything you need to get a good lift in.

I have been going to Chilson for six years now, primarily for the spinning classes in the winter months. Excellent spin instructors, good bikes and a lot of camaraderie. Sherrie puts together a great spinning program and recruits excellent instructors year after year. The Chilson is also priced so all can enjoy keeping healthy... a welcome service all the way around.

We love the Chilson Center, they have a variety of machines. They are always hosting fun activities in their catalog. The gym stays clean for the most part. The only negative is the hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Nice clean swimming pool and thelazy river although meant for kids, is good exercise. One of the best swimming pools in northern Colorado. They also have two hot tubs and a steam sauna.Upstairs they have a running track and workout equipment. The work out equipment is good and the staff is nice.They also have nice basketball and racketball courts.Cost for one time is 4.75, and you can get a 1 free for 9 card, or do a monthly deal.

A lot to offer, great pool, work out area, inexpensive entertainment for the whole family.

My kiddo has been attending abdc summer camp and he loves going! The staff has been great and he is excited to go every morning. I will definitely be attending every summer from now on!

Check out the classes they offer, for a little over 5 bucks you can take structured exercise classes that they have daily. You could take several classes then hit the pool!

Pool, spa, kids play area. Lazy river. lap pool. what else do u need. Fairly inexpensive for the whole family. Separate family changing rooms with showers.

The pool is the biggest reason we visit the Chilson. My kids love it, it is rarely super crowded, and the life gaurds are friendly. My kids like to swim laps, as well as play, which is easy to do here. There is usually a lap lane or two available. The hot tub is nice too! My kids wish there was a diving board, but are still happy to go play!

Review is for swim lessons only: I highly recommend having your children go through swim lessons elsewhere. The teachers are all super young and the two that my child had were awful. One of them was really rude and rolled her eyes constantly and the other just stood there in the water and didnt even do anything. They also would just expect the kids to know what they were telling them to do without actually teaching how to do it first. My child stayed on the wall through the whole lesson due to not knowing how to do what they were asking and they allowed this to happen. Honestly, you would be better off taking your child to a pool and teaching them how to swim yourself.*Again, this is not a review on the whole building, just the swimming lessons.

The pools are awesome! A great place for kids to have fun swimming. There is even an indoor lazy river and steam room. Our new favorite place to swim.

Parking really really sucks. We usually end up having to park a few blocks away and walk. They always seem to have some event going on in the Senior Center, so theres no parking available on the weekends when I take my daughter to her swimming lessons. Other than that, nice and clean. Great staff and instructors. Also, theres only 3 family changing rooms, so expect a wait if youre going with kids.

Clean..well staffed..always a treat for all ages and talents. Senior center attached with a multitude of resources and a wonderful lunch for $2 (for seniors). The library is only steps away with activities for young and experienced alike. Go explore this gem, you will not be disappointed.

It is fun to be with your family and its easier to go into the water any place Ive ever been to.

I just rode by on the five star bike path, but it looked nice on the outside.

Chilson is very nice, but lacks a deep water pool. Deep water aerobics classes must be taken at a local high school, which greatly limits pool accessibility. The classes are only available during the day when many people work, which is another issue.

I personally have a membership here and I love going whenever I can to get a nice sweat going and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Its usually pretty busy but its not to the point where its uncomfortable and you cant find a machine you want to use.

My kids really enjoy the Saturday Kids night out events held throughout the school year.On top of a great facility the staff is generally helpful.

Best indoor pool and the lazy river if you go early before all the kiddos get their is sho good for any condition that water is good for like arthritis and fibromyalgia. I recomend if your in pain grab a floating device out of the locker so it helps you float and can still paddle with hands and legs or just arms or legs.

Since having my son 4 years ago we have become regulars here and it is a great rec center with activities for everyone. The pool facilities are what we use the most and we always have lots of fun plus the swim classes offered here are very good. I have also used the gym facilities in the winter and have enjoyed the walking track especially. We have also taken part in a lot of the early childhood activities offered here and our sons preschool is located here. I love how many opportunities there are for learning here.

Great gym, nice pool with a kiddie area. Yes many different activities one can sign up for at low costs. They have a great babysitter class for young teens, and the day care option while you work out is affordable and very helpful if you have small kiddos

We went swimming today and I have never been more disgusted!!! The pool had food all over the deck. Blood was on tables along with food. I did ask a lifeguard to clean up the blood. The family dressing rooms were filthy. Food, trash, clumps of hair, dirty diapers left in grocery bags. And the paper toilet covers were wet, wadded up and shoved in the box. I wouldnt let my kids take their shoes off and we had to shower again once we got home. The Chilson pool will not be a facility we will return to or recommend. I would be embarrassed!

Well for the most part it was good. I had only went to the pool so I can only help with that part. The lanes are long enough for some good workout yet wide enough for play. The instructors are very helpful they helped my younger brothers learn to swim. The locker room is state of the art with digital locks that are set for reprogram after every use. The only complaint I have is the hot tub isnt very hot but apart from that this place is amazing.

Great pool with huge lazy river, basket ball hoop in pool, great little kids area and a fun slide for all the kids. Clean facilities. No diving board. Lots of swim Lanes and a big hot tub.

When I went there with my brothers we constantly where getting yelled at. The staff there can be ok. The showers are crowded, they need more showers and more space between the lockers and the showers. Besides that the pool and the slide is amazing. Would defiantly come back.

I use the pool there. Only reason not 5 stars is you pay for every facility which makes it expensive.

I used to love this place. My sister and I would take our daughters to the pool every so often and they loved it. We went swimming last week and now both of the girls have diaper rashes and my sister and I have yeast infections. How nasty does the water have to be in order for this to happen? I’m so disappointed.

Great inexpensive place to work out and go swimming. The lazy river is indoors and lots of fun for the kids. Please wipe your equipment when done.

Love the bike classes, and the equipment is maintained well with 2 weight machine areas.

Go there frequently. Clean and operational. Staff is well versed at checking you in but not always friendly. Can be very crowded on the weekend. Loveland needs to consider opening a second rec center on the west side of town.

Cant believe they let little kids in hot tub.
