Great venue, smaller, closer to home. Its amazing to be able to see a concert outdoors and be home so quick. Parking is available a short walking distance, as of fall 2019 it was $5. Also, a shuttle takes you to free parking just across the highway. The pit area in the front (currently known as the Colors Light Party Pit) was a lot of fun. You can almost touch the band from the very front row. The party pit is standing room only on cement, so if you need/want to sit down buy a general admission ticket. The lawn is nice and has good views of the stage and the mountains. Just like any outdoor venue the further off from the center you get the stranger the sound gets. Great PA, loud concerts, I think they end by 10p due to sound ordinance. Cant recommend it enough. Really a good time. Pictured is Sublime with Rome and Reel Big Fish from about 3 rows back in the pit.
What a totally cool venue! Great views even from the back. Small enough to be intimate and yet get a big outdoor venue feel. Easy parking all around and a short walk.
LOVE LOVE LOVE everyone makes it a point to know your name. They give great service in sales and maintenance. Have bought three bikes there and had custom work done. Will not go anywhere else. Friendly and professional. Know their business and if they dont know theyll tell you and work their hardest to remedy any situation.
Great place for a concert. Plop down on the grass with a cold beer and enjoy the show. Smaller venue so you always have a great view.
Sound issues but still a good show. I would go again
Outstanding outdoor venue. My wife JoAnn and I flew in from Las Vegas to see Hairball. Wow! What a show and what a wonderful venue to see them at. Great staff, security was ever present and helpful. Bathroom facilities were clean and well kept. Good variety of food venders. Definitely recommend the summer concert series at Thunder Mountain Amphitheater!!
We went to go see dokken and queenrych in concert, the venue was smaller than I thought which made it a great place to sit on the lawn and watched the bands
Awesome people to do security for. bar tenders and all involved super friendly and amazing to work with
1st time there it was great. Would like to go again.
Love Thunder Mountain...the people who work there, play there, and the place. We have the privilege of vending at events with our espresso trailer and its always a great experience for us in every way. -Pony Espresso and Pastries
Its always a blast. And Thursday night bike night is the place to be. The bands are great. See you there!
Loved it want to go to Buddy Guy but dont have the money its tight !
Nice outdoor venue. KISS fm gets fun shows here and I always like the idea of a night here!
Great Music ! VERY OVER PRICED CONCESSIONS !
Great concert venue. Very affordable shows!!
The entry into the event was extremely late. Apparently the bands or a band was late and needed sound testing while we all stood in the hot sun. Once inside all was fine. Vendors have reasonable prices in comparison to others. Choices there are on the simple side as it is a small venue which is fine. Staff was always pleasant. Price for tickets was affordable. My only dislike is the porta potties. They do have quite a few though.
Fantastic, great night.
Great place to see a show.
The vibe and atmosphere was great. But its designed for the young and able. My mom cant sit that low to the ground, although she is not labeled handicapped or disabled. We decided to sit in the handicapped section with chairs. It was good until everyone decided to stand. Needless to say, we only got to watch half of the show. Handicapped should not mean you cant enjoy a show. It should be up on a platform or somewhat higher than those directly in front of the tent. Other than that, it was fun.
Awesome venue, first time here, Queensryche was amazing as usual
So much fun n good bands
Bike Nights every Thurs 6 to 9pm. Good food and music.
Great up close concerts.
Absolutely phenomenal!!
Last bike night of the year. Always fun to be with great people. Great music mix.
Have seen several shows here. Theyve improved their ticket taking procedures to make the lines more manageable. Had a friend in a wheelchair, they were quite accommodating.
Such a fun venue! No bad seats in the whole place. You get a great view of the mountains from the top of the amphitheater as well as the sunsets. Usually have good food trucks and reasonably priced drinks, too!
Saw the one and only Gary Allan on 9/1/17 and had a blast! Walked around and saw vendors who were at Thunder in the Rockies. Great time meeting new people and listening to the bands. Great venue!
Went and saw Gary Allen. We also got to see the Flaunt Girls nice added bonus. Gary Allen show was awesome. I am handicapped they had seating for me and a guest right up close to the stage. Best concert experience all summer. Five thumbs up!!!
1st time attending the venue. Nice little place but wish people had the mind to pay attention to whats behind them and if people are sitting that maybe they shouldnt stand where nothing can be seen. Will be looking forward to the next concert.
Great place to see a concert.
Always have a great time .
One of the BEST venues in Colorado to see any live show. Not a bad seat in the house. Reasonable ticket prices and great variety of music. Staff and security are always awesome and professional.
A Blast! Thanks to Thunder Mountan Harley for an awesome treat
Beautiful place, but the acoustics arent as good as some.
Great people, vendors music and drinks
This is a great outdoor venue. The tickets have been reasonable all summer for some very popular artists
Great venue for concerts. Lots of old school Biker Bands. Full bars and good munchies.
Enjoyed the lo e music and entertainments
Went and saw Tesla and everything was great accept the lack in parking, especially no handicap parking for large events.
Great place to catch a concert or toy show !! Complex has a great deal.of parking for events!!
I loved my first experience at Thunder Mountain Amphitheatre. We drove up from Denver for our first concert here earlier this month. Our entry was delayed due to sound checks running late and it was a hot afternoon in the sun. Understanding our frustration the good folks of TMA did their best to hand out cold bottles of water with their apologies with an assurance all would be done to make the evening an awesome experience. And that it was. While only an hours drive from Denver I felt transported to much more tranquil and laid back place. It was awesome. And the bands ROCKED IT well past the time a concert would have ended at an outdoor venue in the Denver area. A big shout out to all the folks involved with TMA, from security to the Vendors and especially the event coordinator, Mechelle. I’ll be back!
Great acoustics and location.
Great place for a concert! Love love this place!
Great place for concerts, events
A great outdoor concert venue! A damn good Harley Davidson shop also!
Being a promotional model for Throttle Addikt during Thunder in the Rockies was a pretty amazing experience. This is a great venue, and it was an awesome event to get to see.
Awesome outdoor venue!
Kind of an aggravating venue for some concerts. I cant be too harsh on it because they are a multi purpose venue. I dont like standing on uneven ground, let alone thick grassy uneven ground, for long periods of time. People in wheelchairs always have a difficult time, older people, or people with mobility problems. And if the concert is packed, its not even worth trying to battle up near the stage. I sound like a crotchety old man, I know.
Great local place for some of the best concerts in northern colorado..
Terrible venue and not safe for kids. We went there for Joan,Jett. It was a biker rally not a concert. There was vulgar items being sold. An outfit with a bra and tape covering her privates. The place smelled like Marijuana no matter where you went. Ive never felt more uncomfortable in my life and Ive been to Ministry concerts. It was not advertised as a biker rally but as a concert. We never felt safe there and spent 80$ per ticket. Never Again. We left at 630 and the concert started at 7pm.
Nice outside venue with good sound
This is more than just a Harley dealership, we have been to many enjoyable events at the store and amphitheater. Two thumbs up!
Great Venue, The beer selection could be better though!
Always great to go here! Good music, vendors are reasonable, and the beer garden is reasonable.
Thunder Mountain its a small place but it shows a great big show dont Be fooled by its eyes that can be loud and fun and yes Ill go back again just came with my pants on
Great concert venue
Im giving this a one because I cant give it a zero. Worst venue ever. Cash only, cant see the stage from anywhere but front row, and had to wait for literally hours to use the bathroom, ATM, and to get beer. Parking sucked... more the lack there of it. Very disappointed.
I live in Steeplechase and we hear the music all the time. Usually to get woken up late at night. I think some consideration for how loud the music is should be taken into consideration as to not wake up residents who live East of I-25. Next time Ill be calling police for noise disturbance. 11pm is past the ordinance.
Queensryche, was amaxing!
Good venue. It wasnt packed when we went so it was enjoyable overall
Great Venue. Not crowded. Close parking.
Long walk for parking but an ok venue
Judah and the Lion was amazing here. This is a cozy outdoor venue and was a lot of fun.
Its been a couple months since we were there... but an extrodinary experience to say the least. Seen Judah and the lion, BEAUTIFUL views, comfortable atmosphere, clean facilities and friendly people
Terrible venue cant see from anywhere in the grass, only 2 port o potties and lines that take an hour, cash only venue that they dont tell you about and atm lines are just as bad as the bathroom. Will never see a show here again.
Great sound system on a grassy hill side.
Great sound and light. The field is a bit small. Food vendors and staff were great.
I normally Love this Venue. But the past couple of concerts we have been to (the acts were awesome) have been a let down as far as the accommodations. My wife is handicapped and cant walk very far or stand in lines for long. The handicapped parking is a very long ways away then to have to stains and wait. The seating is in the very back so when everyone stands up those handicapped arent able to see the acts on stage. You need to be more handicapped friendly. Put the seating up front. That way everyone behind who is standing can still see the show and do can the handicap. Not everyone is 35 and young.
Had a great time at the concert small venue but great place
Ill be going back again for sure
Great place to watch concerts, they bring in some really good classic rock bands.
Great venue, but needed more food & drink outlets. Took 45 minutes wait to get served.
Would much rather go to a concert here then anywhere . Always a fantastic venue . Feels like old days . Love it
Great music venue! Could have better beer choices
Had an awesome time! Loved every minute of it.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The atmosphere is fantastic!! GREAT VENUE for concerts.....We will continue to see shows here whenever possible!!! TMHD is a GREAT PLACE....with GREAT STAFF....

Love this venue! Need more bathrooms
Great small venue for live music!

Staff is always super helpful.
Awesome venue! Always a good time!
Great venue, easy to access, parking is far away but free and available.
Saw Lee brice here it was great
Great venue & awesome lineup that few know about.
Great venue!
Always a great time and cant beat the price for amazing concerts!
Had the time of my life. They never cease to amaze us each event we go to there.
