I was ignored by some rude lady when asking about upcoming classes and the fall schedule and left empty handed without purchasing any over priced art supplies

My son has been taking art classes for the past few months. I cant Express enough how awesome this academy is! Our son is learning so much and always has a smile on his face when its art day! Thank you for doing such an awesome job! I would highly recommend them!

As a “mature” student returning to drawing classes after a 30 year hiatus, I was nervous and worried about the class. Alas, nothing to fear! Different than any art class I took in school, the environment was ultra friendly and completely non pressured. Each student gets one on one instruction in a wonderfully well thought out curriculum where I made rapid progress and was rewarded from the very first session with passable drawings. Now I have just graduated to the solo pastel and I look forward to returning each week. I feel I have met good friends and the instructors Lindsey and Cody need a separate review all their own to describe their patience, talent and ability to draw out their students effort and passion.

My 16 year old niece came to visit from out of state and I signed her up for a class while she was here. She got great one-on-one tutoring from Cody. She was so inspired that she would like to pursue a career in illustration. Since they have such a great selection of art supplies we purchased some ink pens and refills so she could finish what she started in the class. Just walking around and looking at what other students were creating made me want to take a class as well! Everyone in the store is so helpful and attentive.

Great instruction. Nurturing environment. Excellent programs. I stumbled upon Schissler Academy on 4th Street in Loveland, and began taking recreational classes. Now, two years later, I am *SO* blessed to be part of the Academys Certificate Program (2 years full time art school). Its work, but SO worth it! Janeen explained to us how ANYONE can learn to draw (if they dont have a visual impairment) -- and that with good instruction plus the willingness to work hard, anyone can learn to draw. Its really true. Schissler Academy provides excellent instruction. If you are willing to work at it, you can learn to draw. (And then branch out to have fun with paint, pastels, etc.) I encourage you to test it out! || April 2020 update, after having completed the Studio Certificate Program: I highly recommend Schissler Academy for its quality instruction which has prepared me well for a second career in art. Thank you, Janeen, Cody, and Lindsay! Also, Codys De-mystifying Color Portraiture class changed EVERYTHING for me about portrait painting! I am SO grateful!

I have taken lessons from Janeen, Elizabeth and Lindsey for a year and I LOVE what I am learning. As a non-artist person, I am easily intimidated by drawing. Janeen and her young group of artist create a very non-threatening, very affirmative site for learning and growing. They are exacting in their critique of my work, but do it in such a way that makes me want to grow and learn. I highly recommend this studio for all levels of artists. I study with very talented already developed artists to folks like me that are at the beginning of this journey.

The art academy is a wonderful place to discover your creative muse. The instructors are excellent in both technical and creative art. The environment is nurturing and encouraging. I highly recommend it.
