The Flying Locksmiths completed a second job for me today. They changed out 16 locks and the hardware. They did an exceptional job.

They will not stop sending email spam!! Its supposed to be illegal to send UCE to strangers.... but I guess The Flying Locksmith (Louisville) just ignores the law!! I will NEVER do business with someone the does not respect email norms (much less the law).

I was delighted with the service I received from The Flying Locksmiths staff. From my initial phone call to the finished product all went well. I had 10 different locks to replace on an older structure that easily could have presented installation problems. But the professional locksmith took care of the job efficiently and with kindness. His knowledge was outstanding. I will not hesitate to use Flying Locksmiths for all my locksmith needs in the future.

I would not recommend this service, ever! They came out to fix a loose door handle. They did fix it temporarily and when it began to get loose again after about 3 months they said they only have a 30 day guarantee on labor so it would be another service fee, etc. I ended up going with another company. Thankfully I did because I found out that the Flying Locksmiths service technician, Eddie Abell, not only put in the wrong size set screw it was broken off so it had to be drilled out to be fixed correctly. Additionally when you call the number you get transferred to a dispatch service and can never actually talk to a service technician. This was an absolute waste of my $150, buyer be warned.

The technician (Chris) and his helper were excellent. Great customer service and made certain I was satisfied before they left. The final product was clean and worked perfectly. (Job: Residential smart door opener with remote access, re-key house, extra keys). Highly Recommend.

I am a plumber in the area. A few weeks back, on a job I broke the key off in our excavator. Time is money and I needed someone quick. I called them and Todd was out to us in 25 minutes and he had the broken key extracted in less than 2 minutes.They were professional and on time. Great job!

I had some simple items.. a couple of interior commercial door handles that were not latching properly but their technician performed the fix for us. Professional and solved our issue. He also introduced me to some new bluetooth based locking systems that can be controlled by phone. We are not there yet but at the time of replacement will look into this technology more.

My technician was very pushy and rude. I called around 5pm the previous night stating that I would need the service performed at 9:30am the following morning. He called at 8 to tell me he was on his way, but then I had to inform him once again I needed him at 9:30am not 8. Once arriving he simply performed the lock out task which is a fancy way of saying destroy the doorknob. I was under the impression he was going to pick the lock to try to get it open. Once he did that he then told me he was going to charge me $129 for a new door knob, to which I told him I didnt need his service and was capable of putting my own doorknob on. He took offense to that and was upset.Maybe it was my technician, but I wasnt satisfied with the quality of work he performed under the Flying Lock Smiths name.

Shortly after the events that prompted the review that follows, I got a call from the owner who apologized and said the screw up was due to a misunderstanding with their national call center. The owner wanted my business and said that to call him directly when I wanted to reschedule. I appreciate him reaching out and have modified my rating to reflect this. Original review follows... 45 minutes after a scheduled appointment I called to see what was up. I wad told they dont schedule appointments but (of course) I was next on the list. Their website clearly says, Schedule your Service. Sorry but I dont have time for this, or what I perceived as the run around, so I cancelled. When I made my appointment I was told that there would be a $79 service call fee and $25 for each lock I wanted rekeyed, for a total of $279. I discovered this company via HomeAdvisor but decided to call directly to hurry things along. Checking their website I saw that they were offering some sort of discount and offered rekeying from $19. I was just offered a flat rate.

Called Flying Locksmith late in the evening.The following morning they had a service tech at the site who diagnosed and correctedthe problem. Service charge was very reasonable.
