Marcus and his group are a wonderful and passionate community. They just want to share their love and passion for parkour and get the younger generation active and having fun while doing it. 5 stars all around, highly recommended
This establishment continues to provide wonderful and effective instructions and education to my child and others in the Louisville area. The leadership team and owner is very passionate and driven to provide a fun, educational, and safe outlet for our community!
Fantastic, CLEAN, facility. Knowledgeable, professional instructors. I knew this place was home as soon as I saw the Naruto leaf village symbol.
Marcus is an amazing parkour coach who is super passionate about his teaching and actually cares about his students. Fantastic!
I heard about this place once kentuckiana parkour joined. Marcus (the owner of kentuckiana parkour) is great with kids and stays professional but in a fun way!
So far we have only been going to open gym, but the facility and the employees have been great. Our kids love going there. We are considering taking classes there down the line.
Awesome gimnastic place. The place, atmosphere, location but the greatest is their coachs Specially Mimi and Lindsey. Mimi took Ana to the Kentucky State championship in Xcel Silver
Best place to be
Very dissatisfied in the record keeping of this facility. I had been going there for several sessions. Told me I owed a balanced when I had bank statements that proved I had over paid, they wouldnt give me the difference. Wont be going back if cant be honest.
I cant say enough good about this place!! My daughter started here 3 years ago and just joined their Competitive Team. The coaches are well trained and make gymnastics fun for my daughter. We LOVE KGA!
We came to KGA two years ago in search of a competitive gym for our daughter and we couldnt be happier. She is flourishing in an atmosphere where competition and fun are balanced and healthy. Any problems weve had (always small and unsurprising ) have been dealt with promptly and professionally. KGA provides a competitive team in a healthy, fun framework, and I recommend it highly.
KGA has been awesome. From the coaches to the office staff and owner/s everyone is welcoming and takes the time to get to know each family and gymnast. We have been going to KGA for 7+ years. The camps are great too, we know our kids are safe and cared for in a loving environment.
We love KGA. Its a great place for gymnastics, birthday parties and camp. They are great with kids and take time to make sure the technique is right instead of rushing them trough the next trick. Great ownership and staff. We love the staff and families at KGA. They are welcoming and inclusive. They offer a wide variety of gymnastics classes for kids of all ages and levels, competitive team and other classes like ninja kids... Thank you all for being awesome.
Okay gym but they were not very flexible working with my daughter on the spectrum since she did not always listen and ran off at times. They saw her as a liability and made that clear to me. They also did not have the space to accommodate the number of people/classes running on saturdays.
KGA has been an awesome place for my daughter. The owner and coaches care about the families of KGA and work with them to be successful and happy. Recently my daughter was injured and the owner personally called me that evening at the ER to make sure both my daughter and I were ok. They have continued to work with and support my daughter despite her injury and I appreciate the confidence she continues to get from every practice.
I love the staff my daughter started team gymnastics almost a year ago and she begs to go to practice...i love the fact that this gym teaches her hardwork pays off....coaches are very supportive to the girls!!!
My daughter has done competitve gym for years at KGA and loves her coaches and teammates.
We have loved our time at KGA! The staff, especially the coaches, sincerely care about the gymnasts. They are very open to the parents being involved and are humble in their communication with the parents should any concerns ever arise. We have been at KGA for almost 3 years...first on the recreational side and now the competitive team side. I love watching them practice and work with the girls...Ive never heard any coach inappropriately pushing any of the girls to do more than their bodies can handle. My 9-year-old daughter absolutely loves her gym and all those that work there! With all that being said, I was curious to read the other reviews...I was absolutely shocked to see the feedback someone gave and I honestly cannot believe its true. It sounded to me like a parent that thinks their child can do no wrong when the child was acting out and probably distracting the whole class. If she was concerned when her child was out of sight, she could have walked down and found out what was going on right then (again, in our experience, KGA has always been open and transparent in all their handlings with the children under their care). Im not a parent that typically drops off and leaves their gymnast at practice, so all last year, I was in the gym watching my daughters 6 hours of practice every week...the coach that was named in the poor review, Ashley, is exceptionally patient, and from what Ive seen, treats the girls with respect and kindness, but also expects to be treated the same way in return. If the mother tried to speak with her immediately after the class, KGA has classes back to back and its typically pretty chaotic as transitions are happening. If she was truly that distraught, then stay and demand to speak with someone when the craziness of class dismissal is done. Just my opinion and take on things, because it does bother me when someone is trying to slander the reputation of an amazing gym.
Coaches are friendly, patient and very knowledgable. I appreciate the smaller facility because its not as overwhelming for my daughter.
Amazing gym and coaches
Great place!
Most coaches are kids, seem more concerned about their cell phones than the kids.
Extremely disappointed. I would have never guessed a professional gymnastics academy would suggest they wouldnt have availability because my child is a boy. He is 6 and has been in gymnastics for the past two years. To suggest he could not take lessons because he would have to be in a class with all girls seems somewhat discriminatory. I hope to have better luck with other gyms in the Louisville area.
