Often I have been to Bats games and the stadium management had not booked someone to sing the National Anthem. Instead we listened to an MP3 recording of an organ playing the music, with no words. Half the spectators do not remove their hats or even stand. The stadium needs to show pride for the Nation that dawned the sport. If you show the National Anthem is important, your spectators will often follow suit. Keep playing an MP3 with no words... youll get what you have now. Position your ushers down the aisles of the spectators and have them remove their hats and place them over their hearts. Have your vendors come out from behind their booths and do the same. Show respect for your countrymen that died for the privilege of playing the game. Dont let baseball turn into the NFL, NBA, NASCAR..

Great stadium nice atmosphere but the bats took a beating tonight

A wonderful park all around. They have some a good job of making it family friendly. The only thing I didnt like was the usher was running people out of seats that were empty. What did it matter if people moved closer if seats were available. Otherwise we had a great family day.

Slugger Field is a beautiful baseball field, maintained very well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location near the Ohio River. There is a play area for young children. The team itself has years with a good record and other years with a poor record. Their role is to develop talent for the major league team, the Reds.

This was a good evening with good food near left field. Loaded baked potato and BBQ pork sandwich was very good. Had a cool breeze with shadows from nearby building. I think it was a great spot.

Always a great experience... Voted best AAA ballpark in America. Im from Chicago, a lifelong Cubs fan! Going to this place gives me a slice of home. This is 100% my favorite spot in Louisville.

Love this ballpark. clean seats, nice restrooms. food is over priced (as any ballpark is) but tasty. fried Bologna and hot dogs are to die for. great playground and Carousel for kiddos. staff is super nice

Best game Ive been too in a while!.. Nick funnel cake Ciuffo was so clutch, hit 3 doubles and made some great calls behind the plate... Hands down new favorite player. Great ballpark too.

Went with a friend on the last Thursday beer promotion of the year. We both had a great time enjoying the game, the crowd, the weather, and the refreshments.

Despite living about 1/2 mile from Slugger Field, this was my first visit to a Louisville Bats game. The stadium is larger than I thought it would be, and it took a lot of steps to get from the entrance to the seats. Its well laid out and the view we had from section 112 was great. Took a 10-year-old with me and he had a blast, getting to run the bases after the game and receiving a baseball. Unfortunately this was the last game of the season, but I foresee us returning next year :)

GO BATS!!!! Great stadium to be in, I remember running bases as a kid and dancing with mascots. The jerseys are awesome and the players are always interactive :)

The best family outing

The Louisville Bats are in a class all of their own in minor league baseball. I have worked with them purchasing advertising over the years and have supported them as a die hard baseball fan as well. I have never had a bad experience at Louisville Slugger Field. They have built a fantastic culture for both their employees and fans.

Fun atmosphere. A great ballpark with so much to do. Louisville can be proud to have a facility like this for 20 Years.

Nice ball park. Concessions were terrible. Waited for 20 minutes in line to order a burger, got up to the counter (finally) and was told they didnt have any, it would be at least 10 minutes before they were ready. Went to another stand / line, which didnt move AT ALL in the 15 minutes I stupidly stood there, until I gave up and went to the Papa Johns kiosk, and got a pizza in 1 minute. It was a thin crust, though, which was disappointing (not the standard thicker crust).Fun fireworks display after the game.

Went on kids night with my boys. It was awesome! The kids got a hotdog, nachos and drink plus admission for five bucks. You cant beat that for entertainment! Plus the bats won

It was a good day for the games. We were in one of the suites and it was really nice. The food was good.

Nice field and good atmosphere. The concessions are painfully slow and its because of the register system - not the employees. They need to modernize and speed it up. We got in line for sausages before the 1st inning and got to our seats in the the top of the 3rd. Almost every place had excessively long lines that moved way too slow. It should be grab-n-go with bar codes like other parks have migrated to. Would be 10x faster.

We purchased our tickets online and selected by the dugout. However, when we got the stadium they had us in the back by a trash can. Not a section I would have ever picked for our first visit or for our 11 and almost 7 year old. We talked to the gentleman who was helping with seats and he apologized but said that our best bet would be to head to the ticket counter to see what could be done. After being told nothing could be done we went back to our seats. I sent an email to the general email stating how disappointed we were. 15mins later two gentleman from the Bats/Stadium office came to us with tickets for better seats and apologized for the inconvenience with everything. What could have been a bad evening turned into a fantastic visit. Baseball and occasionally basketball are the only sports my oldest can play due to a broken neck. So being that close to the big guys is everything to him. Not only that but the guys actually spoke to him while on deck! I dont think Ive seen him smile that much ever! Schebler even gave out fist bumps which made both boys nights.Thank you for an amazing evening that the whole family will never forget. We will be back to your beautiful park soon!

The stadium is very nice, if only the Reds would field a team that matched the stadium. At least for now Louisville FC plays here and draws a crowd.

Great place. Great team. However. If you want your seat not to be taken. Its best to show up early. Some times it seems first come first serve as far as seating goes. But overall the experience is worth getting a new seat even if its next to someone you dont know. Its a big place with lots to offer. Im not a real baseball fan but I would say this is real baseball. A real team. And they play hard. So go bats.

Environment solid. Food options are a bit pricy but not outrageous for a game. Excellent beer selection.

Clean stadium, friendly security and concession employees. the playground is a nice perk for kiddos to stay entertained, rather than having to sit in their seat for several innings.

4 of us had a very good time last night. Bats were down, tied, down again by 3, and then won it in the 9th. It was hot and humid, but bearable. We enjoyed the bbq pork nachos, philly cheessteak, and more delicious fare.If they could add some extra ventilation, it might lessen the heat.

Weather condition was great and great place to relax and enjoy a game.
