Always has magnificent pieces from local artists. I make sure to stop in for a quick look around every time Im in the area. Excited to try out the bar attached to the galleryUpdate: tried the bar and it was great! Coming back up tomorrow
This is a unique space. The art work here is absolutely stunning and the drinks are fantastic. Its a must stop for a romantic date
Great small gallery with a bar in the front. We went during the day and Kyle the bartender was super helpful. I can see how evening would be a vibe as well.
Stopped by to check out the new space. Free lot and street parking. Restrooms were clean and tidy. Stopline Bar is in the front, with gallery space beyond that. Working studios beyond gallery and up stairs. Stopline had several craft beers on tap, more in bottles or cans, some nice everyday wines, and cocktails. They were in between a changing cocktail menu, but very willing to put together any suggestions. Friendly staff. Great experience with non- alcoholic beverages also available. Still working on getting a sound system together. Also a tasting room is in the works. Nice event space. Great spot to sip an adult beverage while perusing art! We will be back.
My first time at the TFG, and this is a very cool experience to view local art while tasting the most delicious stout Ive ever had!
Fantastic crew! Felt very welcome!
Great venue for art and cocktails
I visited Tim Faulkners new location near Old Louisville to see what my friends were up to with their work with poet Ron Whitehead. The new digs are a big step up from where they were only over a year ago.For starters, no more hot rooms in the summer, thanks to the improved HVAC system. The Stopline bar is much more cozy than the previous space, not to mention the outdoor seating available in the warmer months. And of course, the gallery space is wonderful. Its brighter than the last space, and the lighting makes the art look better than ever. I would definitely visit again.
Really bizarre and cool. Fantastic art and fun exhibit
I miss the cavernous space they had in Portland. But the new one is nice too. The gallery still offers a beautiful space for fun events.
Nice layed back atmosphere with an eclectic collection of art.
Gorgeous gallery space! The bar tender Steve was helpful in suggesting the perfect drink and the regulars welcomed us to join them on the patio. Loved it!
Friendly bartender. Didnt have mixers for cocktails. Had only one white wine. Enjoyed the art gallery. Would probably come back if bar is stocked better
I love the gallery. Tim and Margaret are some of the best people we have here in Louisville to offer. They have a warm and inviting place. The bar area is quite nice. Plus the artwork is amazing. A must see in Louisville.
Rock solid beer selection. Great ambience. Not sure about the cocktails; I didnt walk that road.
Great gallery. Love it has a bar... & you can take drinks into gallery.
I love the new space, especially for the proximity to my home. We enjoyed walking through the gallery with our fresh blackberry drinks!
A change of pace from the normal bar scene! I enjoyed my night at Tim Faulkner Gallery & Stopline Bar. The bar, although not large, was not crowded and did not take long to get a well made, even reasonably priced drink. The outdoor patio was full of people enjoying the nice nighttime weather, but inside the spacious gallery was more room to move around and enjoy viewing the art. A dj was present as well at the bar. I will be returning and reccomend checking this place out!
A Louisville gallery of the first rank! A constantly rotating series of showings provides an ever-changing roster of artists, many of whom have a distinctly Louisville-centric perspective in their work. The bar is fun, with reasonably-priced drinks, and theres always a daily special to delight in!The owners - Tim and Margaret - are always on hand for insight, guidance, and splendid conversation. Highly recommended for at least a monthly visit, due to the wonderful atmosphere, interesting people to meet, and the full range of artistic talent on display.
The Jazz artist Poetry artist Marvin Travis were Phenomel!
So quiet...beer was good. Hope they get more business.
A beautiful and unique facility. Inspiring and a great place to hang out. The patio is lovely and the coffee house has great sandwiches and lunch items. Stop by if you get a chance.
Great place. Went to see a DJ on a Thursday and I’ve had a great time. The gallery is awesome and the hosts are great people. Thank you guys! I’ll come back next time I return to Louisville!
Very enjoyable. Bartender Victor was so personable and inviting.
Kyle makes the most awesome. Blackberry Old Fashioned.
We had our wedding here and it was the best night of our lives! The staff was so helpful, anything we wanted or needed was quickly accommodated! The space is so beautiful so we didnt do a lot of decorations because really- how can you compete with such wonderful art surrounding you?!? Id recommend this place to anyone who wants a unique and memorable event! The gallery is wonderful, the art work is constantly cycling around so theres always something new to look at. The coffee shop and book store are great too. This is hands down one of my favorite places in Louisville!
The new space is spectacular, the owners are wonderful and the art is a cut above ! Love love loving the new bar area !
Very nice gallery and cool place to have yoga.
Wonderful space, super friendly owners & staff. We cant wait to attend one of their first Friday events.
Very cool gallery. We went for an event tonight and it was a great time. The bar attached had great drinks and good service. :D
Nice place on the corner of Kentucky st and logan. Love the atmosphere and very friendly.
Tim and Margaret do a fantastic job curating works for the gallery and Kyle, the manager, is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Different kind of atmosphere. Really just sitting around.
Always a pleasure to visit this space.
I love coming here! It’s close to my house and I’ve been able to meet new friends and enjoy buying art from local artists.
Very cool art gallery! They host a lot of fun events here such as community yoga. Theres also a little coffee shop/bookstore in the building.
My sister and I attended the pirate festival on Feb 3. What a great venue!. It fits the event lots of room to move around with tables vendors artwork etc. Its in a revitalized part of town thats growing but it look deserted . but inside what a party. Great job, kypiratefest guys.
Wonderful place. Everyone was very friendly and informative!
Chill vibe. Cool art. Ask for Kyle!
Warm beer, early on a Friday night. Shame on bartenders for allowing that to happen and not giving the customer an option to choose different beverage.
Beautiful gallery, nice people, great art.
The live house DJs were everything. Bartender was amazing and i will definitely be back
This is an incredible museum, how much better with a full selection bar. The owners are amazing and beautiful people of passion, who are driven by their love for art and independence.
Killer art gallery and venue never seen a gallery set up in here I wasnt completely captivated by, the atmosphere of the place alone is so filled with life and creativity its great. They have a book store and coffee shop, food truck out back and artists rent spaces where they work in cubicles built up around the main area. Love being here.
To many snobie personaileties
Amazing art everwhere! Loved all the graffiti. Good coffee and bagels up front.
The new location is legit, Tim and Margaret have done such an amazing job in creating a unique gallery space, and getting back to their roots. We stopped by a few days after their opening to check it out, and are extremely excited to come back after the full bar opens up!
You have got to love a place where you can get a cocktail and look at new art. I dont necessarily love all the art, but it all makes you think.
Ive been here for a wedding, a comedy show, and two competitions. The large space was very adequate for all of these things and the art was very interesting. The only issue was going one time in the summer with no air conditioning. It got pretty warm.
Amazing event venue. Lots of interesting and unique artwork. Love the spray paint art that decorates all the walls.
Excellent event space! Bar area is lean but does offer a few local craft cans. Plenty of great space for an event of any type. I hope more businesses will continue to expand into the Portland area.
Beautiful space with a wonderful collection of mixed medium arts. Has a stage and a cool bar. Very cool spot.
Spacious location. It has a bar and concert area along with several studio spaces. Plenty of interesting events hosted here too. I think it is definitely a net plus to Louisville.
Had a great time, playing free pool and drinking. I met cool people and some hot girls who were setting up a instillation for an exhibit Friday. I will be back ;-)
Beautiful art.. Hip atmosphere. Drum circles and coffee. Beer and artist.. My kind of place!
Went for a vintage Christmas craft and fairs show. Fun ecclective things to buy. Good music, food trucks, fair from locals. Minimum cost to enter.
Awesome tone and really interesting bar area. Coffee shop book selection was very interesting as well. The part of town it is in is a bit scary because of how remote it is.
Had fun! Someone got shot here once
I love they moved to Germantown!
Very surprised! Daughters wedding was here. Love the place, has so much going on.
Pleasant gallery, better event venue. Nice coffee shop up front.
The gallery itself seems to be a pretty wonderful place. Ive only been here for the beatersville car show. Unfortunately the plumbing system cannot handle the amount of people that come for the show and all of the toilets end up backed up and horribly smelling.
Awesome place
Awesome short film event
The gallery of art is worth checking out, very spacious back room for live shows, and good deals at the bar.
Cozy bar, with art gallery.
Great bar + art space
Thank you for hosting the beatersville car show. This is a good location
Awesome location and the perfect atmosphere for Beatersville!
Nice chill atmosphere.. And if you love art its even better..
Enjoying the time here seeing the Pirates exhibits & music.
Great selection of art and nice event venue!
This is great place. Good coffee, good art, nice fun venue.
Great place for future artist to go an share the work an for the neighborhood to view the Artist as work
Theyve improved this place every week - just amazing - my favorite place to play and watch other bands
Artistic, warehouse-feeling venue with a surprisingly good sound system. The neighborhood around it is sketch but I had no worries about parking my car in the street.
Great artwork by Damon Thompson! Thoroughly enjoyed his exhibit!
Amazing artwork, which is very diverse. Really inviting space.
I went here for Pirate Fest, this is a great venue!
Great place to let your hair down and unwind .Had a great time
A lively community of artists. Exhibit gallery, artist studios, event venue with bar, coffee shop.
Cool venue! Loved having the Bluegrass VegFest here!
I love the atmosphere & artwork. Tim Faulkner Gallery is a magical space.
Real nice place to enjoy hanging with your friends and the arts spectacular.
Crazy fun parties, great gallery and best place to go for a fun sale and to meet interesting creative Louisvillians
Great space that holds a wide variety of events. Everything from bands, activist, gallery openings, and life drawing.
Best Art Gallery in Louisville. HANDS DOWN
Wonderful alternative gallery, great as a venue or just a date night
Very lovely gallery with a lot of beautiful art. The location is a bit off the beaten path and can be confusing to find.
Awesome artists and friendly. Great space.
The new space is amazing!
I go to an aa meeting here and I love the environment.
Great art gallery and music venue with reasonably priced drinks and a very cool, warehouse-style interior. Home of the annual LouiEvolve Hip Hop Festival!
