Daniel Fernandez Memorial Park

I enjoy Daniel Fernandez Park everytime I go they have a gym open to the public Im told though Ive never been there myself its more of a multipurpose gym from what my understanding is. The park itself is kept clean and debree free.

Very nice park also currently ome of the places that is doing drive through covid-19 testing Monday and Thursdays from 8:30am to 10:15 a.m.

Great new recent additions for playground equipment. Decently well kept and has a good amount of community resources. Not the best, but a good park to be sure.

Great town events held at this park and always free admission!

While its still a very nice park, there wasnt any room in any of the trashcans anywhere to put any trash. We were at the park just before noon, just hard to believe that many people had already been to the park.. Overall though still the park is a great place to go.

We had such a great time, took my niece and my puppy they played for so long. There is basketball court, kids play ground, tennis court, swings, and grass to lay down on. Perfect park

Covid19 testing went well there.

Los Lunas communities through a Halloween party for everybody. I took my niece over there had a great time. love the haunted house. I wish I could taken pictures of it.

The Daniel Fernadez Memorial Park has wonderful improvements made to it.

Great place with a nice facility. Only reason it doesnt get a 5 start is that there seems to always be trash all around the playgrounds. Not just trash from the day but if you visit during the week you will find trash from what looks like a birthday party the previous weekend.

Very clean park. Great to take walks around the whole area, shaded parking, clean RRs. Tennis courts make it fun.

This park was so much fun for me and my 2 year old.... ;) going back for sure!

Clean well kept park

This park is wonderful. There is plenty of grass for picnics, or laying out a blanket and enjoying some reading. There is a great jungle gym for the kiddos. There are plenty of area for sports. This is also where a the big events are held for holidays in Los Lunas. They have the Easter egg hunt, the best 4th of July fireworks, and a great Halloween event.

Fun place for playing with your family

Good place to get head at two in the morning.. just sayin..

So much room! The playground equipment is updated and gives the kiddos fun for hours. Dont forget the bug spray and sunscreen though!

This park has lots of covered picnic tables and a clean restroom stocked with soap and papertowels. Its a really nice park.

Clean and spacious. Had a fun barbeque with family praising Jesus as we enjoyed each others company with food, fun, soaking in the sun!We brought football, frisbee, and all kinds of fun games. Thank you City for keeping it so clean, grass well watered, and maintained.

Big park. Pet friendly. Football field. Tennis court. Two playgrounds. Enough parking. Quuiet area buy train tracks.

The park is like any other park with a playground for smaller children and one for older kids. They have picnic tables with nice shade and restrooms.

Hometown Recreation Center so you know I love it. Wish it was better taken care of inside and out and more Adult Sports were offered year round. Great staff amd very helpful when able to be found.

I love this park. Its always super clean

I volunteer walking dogs through the Park 3 times a week and its always nice, plus I love the bathrooms at the community center, for public bathrooms they smell so awesome.

Not clean... Gave 2 stars because at least there was shade and ok parking but the park itself is NOT clean...bummer since we live only a couple miles away

Sub par after school program. They hire inexperienced college & high school students to try & take care of 30+ kids.

Fantastic classes, nice instructors and reception staff. I cant believe I can get such great classes for only a small amount of money.

Ive went to that park since I was a child and its a really nice park and playground for children I take my kids there still and will continue to keep going there.

That was my first time being at Daniels Fernandez Memorial Park its so beautiful I would love to go there again this time with my family because I dont drive I catch the bus and my family dont live here there in Hawaii so Im just waiting for them to come here next year

Great memories at DFP!

Love the new playground! Its huge! Big slides several access points. Many sets that have been built through my 25+ years of enjoying parks here in Valencia County that where tiny and the skill level was low. They had wheels painted with a spiral which you could spin what a hoot. Lol and any attachments were taken or broke off in weeks! This beauty reminds me of the more traditional playset with a bit of a modern twist.If you like working out at parks, keeping things fresh i recommemd this one. The rope maze is like an American ninja course! I enjoyed it and im a 31 year old mama.

Employees of Daniel Fernandez park should be ashamed of getting a paycheck. The park is a disgrace, I walk there every day & see the debris trash, drug paraphernalia, used condums, broken glass on sidewalks, pavement, thinking today it will be cleaned up just to be disappointed. You must be proud of your job.
