I love it at Lupin. As a young woman I feel like here I am finally free to relax and present myself however I want. Im glad to know the place during and after a change in management and residents which really elevated the vibrations here. I cant wait to return. Though the hot tub is off during covid everything else is going strong; not many places can offer so much recreation in this challenging time. I definitely recommend the food at Nourish as well--its incredible and Chef Michelle is the best.
WOW!! A Diamond in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains. No words can give justice to the amenities, but I will try.NOURISH restaurant has a Chef who is an artist with flavors and food.!! Meals there are anything but typical.!! By far THE MOST AMAZING CULINARY EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER ENJOYED!!YURTS are furnished nicely with coffee pots and comfortable large beds. I LOVE STAYING IN THE YURTS!! YOU WILL TOO. !ACTIVITIES... are also AMAZING !! YOGA under big trees on lush green grass lead by Beth and Marie who are very calm and centered yogas. ART CLASSES and HIKES with Mindy are Phenomenal! She was born to lead you into a naturist hike you will truly enjoy and her art classes from making walking sticks to drawing with live models in the peaceful serenity of the outdoors.I ONLY WISH I FOUND THIS PLACE 20 YEARS AGO.!! We ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT STAY and return home completely relaxed and rejuvenated and already planning our next visit.
My husband and I Stayed at lupin for a night and the kitchen staff was very friendly. Chef Michelle and the guy with a lot of tattoos were helping us and they were so extraordinary. Cant wait to return it was such fun.
One of the oldest naturist clubs in CA; beautiful grounds for hiking, super friendly people, very nice live music, wonderful atmosphere, fun activities such as yoga and art classee. The food is expensive though, not tee tastiest, and options are limited. They could do with a few more toilets and restrooms around the property.
Lupin lodge is what I needed to relieve stress after work. It is away from the city, lots of trees and lovely deers and rurkeys will be your neighbors!Disclaimer, if you feel offended by ramdomly being in the precense of a nude guest, this place is not for you.Office personnel is very corteous at all times and permanent residents are great to talk to!
I go every week. Fresh air and sunshine.
We loved the relaxed, mountainous atmosphere with friendly, kind people - residents and other guests. What a lovely day!!
I have day visited Lupin several times. Staff is always very nice. Pool, spa and sauna were enjoyable. Clubhouse has good food and nice areas to hang out. My real draw is the trails. They have a number of trails to hike (some steep) with great views. I hope to one day try out a Yurt. Recommend you check it out if in SJC area!
Lupin is awesome, I was there in 2014 and 2019, the place hss completely changed ! Unbelievable, such a beautiful hippie energy, mixed aged group! The guests, residents and crew were very hospitable! So free and welcoming. I will definitely come back and visit again more often
This is my Happy Place
Favorite way to spend the day
Beautiful land!
I love this place. Getting out of the heat of Arizona into the cool forests of Santa Cruz mountains is amazing. Along with the access to free wifi, the restaurant, jacuzzi and swimming pool, once you walk out on the trails, within a couple minutes you are completely surrounded by forest. The staff and people here have been friendly and nice. It is clothing optional so kindness is very important. Seems to be all ages from children to twenty something all the way up to seniors. I love that its a mixed community. The yurt for this Arizona person gets cold at night so Id bring a sweater or jacket for night and youll need a flashlight for the night walks to the restrooms --- but I saw deer hanging out on my way to the restrooms so that was cool..
I went with a few friends and hiked. We also checked out a Yurt for future use. The place is gorgeous and I cant wait to go back!
Lupin is truly a paradise! Everytime I have been there its been a blissful experience. The views of lush green mountains are breathtaking and the people are so nice. I look forward to going back soon!
Best spot ever to be ones self
One of the oldest established resorts in the West. Wonderful people and awesome hikes.
The people here were mostly friendly, even the somewhat surly counterman at the little cafe in the clubhouse, especially if you give him a small tip and he gets to know your face. The sun deck is nice and the pool and hot tub are too, if a bit small. Beyond that, this place has seen better days, with a lot of ramshackle little cabins, RVs, and some old yurts. My yurt didnt have a coffee maker, microwave, or refrigerator. I couldnt open windows to let air through. On the plus side, the resort attracts a diverse crowd of all ages. All this being said, they do have a lot of fun here on the weekends with dances, volleyball matches, open mic, and their very own DJ. There are some short hiking trails and a creek on the property. If you use Google Maps to navigate to Lupin Lodge, turn right after you cross Alma Bridge, not left as instructed. Look for small signs with the number 20600, pointing to the left.
Great naturist (nudist) resort.....
Such a beautiful place to be. Love the peace and tranquility that comes with your stay there. And at night the sound of mother nature pets I love it.
Lupin Lodge has proven to be an incredible force of nature. Nested in the mountains between Santa Cruz and San Jose, the community at Lupin is beautiful! The hot tub late at night, the restaurant and the up close and personal relationship with nature all make it a wonderful place to spend time. Thank you Lupin!
A 1 star rating is way too much. From the moment we walked into reception I wanted to run away. We booked a 3 night stay in a yurt. The lady in reception was very rude and we did not feel welcome at all. The reception stinks, is untidy and very dirty. The communal kitchen never gets cleaned, rotten food, dirty dishes and counters, rat droppings on and inside the fridge. All over the grounds it is messy and untidy, old spiderwebs, leaking pipes, construction rubble ugh terrible. Even when we reported the dirty kitchen the lady at reception just said oh we put a notice up that people must clean after themselves and you must know were in nature there will be rats.No self respecting naturist will ever support or set foot here. How can any naturist association approve of this?We left and did not stay, it is a terrible place.Anyone rating this place more than one or staying longer than a minute shows that living in filth is fine.
Ive been a member of Lupin Lodge for a little over a year. When I first got here I immediately loved the grounds and the surrounding nature. Yes Lupin can make some updates, but what people dont seem to realize is that this is the oldest business in Los Gatos, founded in 1935.Since being a member, I have seen growth at Lupin. I have watched as the grounds become more user friendly and become updated. Ive seen families come and enjoy themselves while there is a live band playing. Females who are ashamed or shy with their bodies, flourish in the total body acceptance atmosphere here.Lupin is a unique place that is welcoming to all. If youve never been to a nudist place, I recommend Lupin as your first stepping stone into this lifestyle. With no body shaming, fun activities and wonderful surroundings, Lupin is great.
One star is just for charity. All the stuffs are rude and unpleasant. All day in the pool was four people and they all were over 70 years old. At night an old ladey came and played music I didnt see people in my age at all just a few old men and women were there. They were unfriendly and they all dont like young single boys if you go with a young girl and the girl dance and hug the old men then they like you and also pay a big money and accept all the rules. Now I visit the nude beaches there is no limitations and I see a lot of people in my age and its all free
Nice place, generally great crowd, long standing club. Needs a few touch ups here and there, but otherwise pretty nice.
Rustic but nice.
Me and my husband came here for the first time last weekend. We absolutely loved it. Gave us the chance to rekindle the spark in our relationship. Lupin is a good place if you and your SO are having troubles and need to get away from the stress of outside problems. We really reconnected here and I cant wait to go back. The food was good, they had a baked chicken with veggies that was super delicious. The staff was really accommodating to our needs. Im definitely telling my friends about this place.
This place is an awesome escape, your only nude when other people are wearing clothes. The pool is great place to spend a weekend soaking. Restaurant is ok but service is extremely sloooooow. Bring a lunch and a six pack and enjoy the pool!
Very nice resort with lots of facilities and activities to do. Beautiful spot in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Not a safe place especially at night very rude staff. Not good for yong people because of a lot of limitation
I went to Lupin for the first time for Bodyfest last week. I had a great time and will be returning. The pool and lodge areas are older but well maintained. All restrooms were clean and functional. I enjoyed all the meals I ate at the restaurant. Staff there and guests were all very friendly. That said, if you look for it there are neglected areas around the whole resort such as the little shack with the ice machine near the swimming pool which has a roof falling down. Or the old week overgrown abandoned tennis court.Still the forest setting is very beautiful and I would say the good far out ways the bad. I will be returning. Your results may vary but I would recommend you give it at least one try.
Naked men and women fun in the sun relaxing and clean dont be shy or quite just dont be a weirdo hot bodys everywhere I will be back bring a towel
Its a nice place to go for naked everything especially if youre over 60
I am not now a member of Lupin Lodge, but was for many years. When it is time to find that happy place in my mind, this is where my mind goes. I have many fond memories of this place, and have seen it change from a decidedly rustic setting to a true resort setting, but never loosing the friendly touch or the connection with the surrounding nature of the Santa Cruz mountains. One comment relates an experience where there were only men. In all my years of membership and frequent visits, that didnt even come close to describing my experience at Lupin. If you call before you go and explain any concerns to the staff member on the phone, I am sure they will give you accurate information. And if you find things to be less than advertised, it has been my experience that they will be amenable to working out a solution.I cannot recommend Lupin highly enough as a safe, enjoyable place to enjoy nature and meet friends.
The friendliest and kindest staff I have encountered in years. And the place itself has an undeniably lovely atmosphere. I really enjoyed being there and will definitely return.
The people are fantastic and it looks amazing!!!!!
A great resort full of wonderful people. The atmosphere is very laid-back, and the yurts are top notch.
A jem hidden away just minutes from Silicon Valley. A beautiful place in the Los Gatos mountains to relax and unwind from the buzz of our daily lives.
A wonderfully relaxing clothing optional resort just minutes from Silicon Valley.
Lupin is a great resort. It is low-key. I have taken others and they have enjoyed. The comment about all men is not anything I have ever encountered. In fact so much of the entertainment is created by some very creative guest women. This is not a slick, commercialized resort like Laguna Del Sol. Thats not a dig at LDS which I enjoy visiting also. It is just a much more low-key, entertain yourself place. I often go and bring my laptop to work on articles or reports, as I sip a beer on the veranda. My hats off to the owners.
Great place! But pricey for what you get. But overall good experience
It is very comfortable clothing optional resort. I enjoyed the hot tub, the sun and the pool.
IVERY OPEN & COMFORTABLEITS always been a nice place to spend time The Pool and HotTub area is very clean & safe I have yet to attend a FRIDAY NITE NAKED DANCE some day I will it is a experience everyone should try once too see if it is for them it’s nothing nasty or dis tasteful I enjoy every minute I am there peace and love Yvette Cox
Great place to hike then chill by the pool
I love seeing the wildlife and all the deer. The people are also really nice.
Beautiful scenery and the most relaxing getaway I have experienced in years. I loved it and plan on returning many many times.
Google maps is wrong on how to get there. It takes you to the back entrance. No registered sex offenders allowed. They check at the front office.
Relaxing atmosphere. Amazing people. Many drive from other states and countries simply to visit lupin lodge.
Horrible ass place this place needs to be burned to the ground. The management is completely out of hand rude. Theres no such thing as hospitality at this place. It was like some kind of cult of inbreed weirdos. My wife was scared the whole time we were there not anyones idea of a good time
The pool is great and heated. The sauna and hot tub are nice for destressing.
Everyones own opinion. this place it home away from home. and to the guys statement below. this is my home ur probably a freak n or weirdo. n try n burn anything here n .....@$##_ well u get the point
Great food...good company. Members only.
Very bad place to workThe owner is very crooked and wont pay uVery under staff and some of the staff are very rude.
Very nice Naturist Resort.
A dirty facility. After complaints they were removed as an AANR approved resort. If you are looking for a true naturist experience go somewhere else. If you are looking for a used rubber laying in the outdoor shower or a rave and a fox hunt then this is your place.
This place is a dive with nothing but meth heads and unattractive people who seem to think they are at the Ritz.. Its sad laughable and gross
I found that place through the news station, so I went to check it out, at first, it was hard to find, cause it was so hidden, but then after talking to the stuffs there, I found the place. The place was soso, nothing high tech, but very natural. I was a little disappoint when I went there on Monday, cause there wasnt a lot of people, but it was quiet, and ppl there are very friendly, everyone has their own opinion, but I like the place, had been going back there once every week for the past 3 weeks now, will keep going back there to visit when I have more time.
I just love, Great natural Energy + + + + + with everything, Go and see ! Amazing
Awsome spot hard to believe its this close to a big city
Color me bare in may 24 is so great
This place and the area great love it
Got locked out for the night & had to sleep in my truck on the side of the road
Paradise here
Great place to relax
Very peaceful place.
Freeform
Excellent place.... Love it!!
Lots of pokestops
Wonderful way to relax in the aun
This place is full of freaks that hate outsiders. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time I was there. The fact of the matter is, Lupin is a trailer park for social misfits. I will never, ever go back.
The staff was completely out of hand and very rude to the guests i left and will never return
Was a dream cum true.
