I was a little disappointed when I came to visit this park. Theres only one small ramp and some nice edges and corners to slide on but that was about it. Beyond that, it great that this park is here. There was definitely no shortage of skate boarders making use of the place.Im not sure if its because of covid-19b budget or the parks close proximity to downtown but there was a lot of litter. Some of the homeless have set up encampments within the park boundaries.

Took son and he loves this place the staff are so friendly and helpful the young people who go are so respectful of each other it’s great very impressed and we do not live locally but it’s worth the travel

Great park not too many obstacles. Good place to go early to work on certain tricks. Hard to have a full sesh but very fun place to be.

Used to be great place to bike to or skate board now kinda ghetto be ready to be asked if you need drugs

Park is fun. Wouldnt be able to spend a whole day here. Theres 5 main obstacles. A long manual pad with 2 out ledges on either side. 2 small stair sets with rails and down ledges. Watch where you sit in the grass cause the trees have these sharp seed pods that will slice into you.

Good park but lately private schools come to have their lunch and gymnastics at the same time their our sometimes homeless people at the park for example today I watching a class having their gym period one of the teachers happened to see a homeless man laying on the ground not disturbing any of the students the teachers walk up to the Man trying to wake him up unfortunately the homeless man was not responding so they call the police the teachers tell his students to be careful cause their my be gangsters. P.s I dont like when outside people the talk bad about our park specially when their our trying to kick us out of our park

I give this skatepark 2/5 because there are people who smokes weed and/or drink alcohol in the park. And the skatepark pretty much lacks features, such as bowls, like clover bowls and such. And the ramp out there was a mistake to replace the concrete ramp that was built before.

If I could give it a 0, I would. No parking, construction all around, skatepark getting smaller. I spent over 30min trying to find parking then my son just told me to go because he didnt even like the park

Cant even count how many times Ive been here. Just brings good memories FAMILY

Its a small park honestly, but if you need a place to focus on one trick, this is a great place for your skate sessions

Cool place not real big but good enough

Opened in 2009. This is a great skate plaza for its size. There are many ledges, manual pads, and there are two stair sets, a five stair hand a three stair. I would recommend the 3 stair rail if you are just starting to do hand rails. The five stair goes from narrow to quite extended. Fun place and there are always people to play skate. It is close to the Wilshire/Vermont and Westlake/MacArthur Park subway stations on the red/purple lines, so it is easy to get too.
