STAR HOOKAH is not for everyone. Its old world, romantic charm in a downstairs cavern. Almost as though youre transported to another place and time in which a good meal is supposed to be enjoyed in a specific, leisurely order. If youre in a hurry or prefer hip and modern decor, this is not your place.

The place has a great vibe. The selection of tabacco is quite good, ranging from fruity, original tabacco & no nicotine selection.Staff was vary helpful in make the right selection for me and my Friends.As far as the prices go Im not too knowledgeable about prices but seemed a pretty fair price would recommend it if you are in the area.

This place has the weirdest rules. Came here with a group for a friends birthday who had a table. We followed all the rules they gave us: we got on the guest list, got there on time, and was properly dressed. However, once we got to the front of the line, we were not allowed in because there was not enough girls in our group. I understand not being able to get into a club with not enough girls, but we were on the list AND we were going in as part of a party who got a table. We literally had to wait an hour till there were more girls in the venue before we were able to get in! Also, didnt get too much service for the table, but it is pretty common with my experience with tables in K-town.

I just keep coming back to this place over and over because the food is so exciting in the menu changes often. Josef Centeno is one of my favorite chef here in LA. He is magical with vegetables and makes everything taste so great. The happy hour menu always has good food and their margaritas are one of the best in town. Their Lamb birria a stew full of flavors, puffy tacos, nachos, are all amazing but order things on the menu that you cannot get anywhere else. My DTLA food crawl always starts here. This place never disappoints. Bartenders always great.

Went here on a Monday night with a few girlfriends to do something low key. It is a nice lounge to just hang around. It wasn’t packed when we went.

This is an awesome bar on weekdays when its not so crowded. On weekends it can get too crowded to the point where its impossible to get from where youre standing to the bar to order a drink.

Band was playing covers from all decades and did them really well! Need something to do downtown, this place would be highly recommended.

I been going to the spot since day one. I love the people who work here and the hookah here is what I look forward to when I come here. They take care of me at every moment. Customer service here is just awesome. I come back and just enjoy myself. Definitely five starts from me. As always satisfied customer.

I really liked the vibe in here. Music was great and the sitting areas were perfect for whatever size group you were with or to meet others. The staff wasnt too nice however and the price of a hookah was a bit steep for the quality.

Now this place was a Fckn AWESOME way to end my visit in LA!! They had Hookah & Drinks!! the music was On Point & the ambiance was fckn amazing!!! Definitely coming back!

The staff was very friendly and helped us pick our flavors. The Hookah was very reasonably priced as well, we will definitely be back.I loved the music as well. I suggested arriving early.

Had a great time here....the prices change depending on the day and time so call ahead if you are budget conscious. Many flavors, the coals keep coming, music is on point if you like hip-hop. Cool chill spot during the week as a date or after dinner.

Pretty bare interior, service wasnt great and the whole process to get in was soooo extra, - patted down, ID scanned, videotaped?? HOWEVER. The crowd started to grow and I immediately knew...oh this is the spot. There are screens all around bumping music. The party was starting!! Its a great location, I WOULD recommend my friends to go early, get a table and just party. Just be aware the service is slow/ bad, but hey a party is a party.

Wow now Star Hookah Lounge is the place to go when you want to chill and smoke hookah. I love this place, they have unlimited amount of flavors and sections for crowds bigger than 3. Make sure you head there before 11 or directly after the club because it gets packed very fast because it’s the only lit place open in Hollywood

We waited forever for our hookah and it went out so fast the guy didn’t even come and check on us the whole time had to get up and find someone. Another thing no food or liquor just juice and snacks.

I came to your hookah bar with my sisters, it was a gift for one of my sisters that has never been there before. She felt very comfortable and welcomed there, as soon as we sat down a young black guy walking by looked at our number and said he would go check on our order no sooner after he walked off he returned with our hookah, asked us how we were doing, and than he even started our hookah for us. He was very attenative of us. When i told him it was my sisters birthday he asked if she wanted to hear a song and then he immediately played it for her. Thank you everyone at star hookah for making us matter especially the young man that made the night special for us...

Was a lot of people in there at 3am in the morning. They played really good music. Mixture of music type too.. vibe was good. Just that they dont do BYOB nor do they sell alcohol that parts sucks.

This is a premiere Hookah lounge and only place open in Hollywood after 2am. Lots of celebs in the house. Great staff and awesome security.

Perfect. However, the price should be cheaper than $30. But 3 people to each hookah. The Lounge is very nice. You can walk in and out if needed.

I had fun. Its definitely bougie and very overpriced! It shouldnt be that much to smoke some hookah (Im sure its ridiculously priced due to location) ! If you havent been here before just know that theres a hefty cover charge to get in AND the hookah is priced very steeply ! Just a FYI, dont say I didnt warn you lol. But yeah, Ive been to other hookah spots that are just as cool and was able to drink alcohol, chill, and smoke my hookah. Will I be back? That remains to be seen! Peace.

Open late night in Hollywood. A club like atmosphere, with rap / hip hop Music. Go by and say hi to Malcolm the manager. Frequented by a variety if celebrities, from the hip hop world.

I witnessed a man standing at the front door who was being recorded by another man. He didnt want to be recorded and threw the first punch at the innocent man recording. It turned into a scuffle and as soon as it was over, the doormen let the boxer into their establishment. I will definately not be going here since they like to protect their customers who stand in the front and throw punches at random people walking by. Very unprofessional business.

I havent been here since August, but when I did go it was very fun! I really like the decor inside, and everything is very well spaced out. The hookah was pretty good here. The only negative is the location, it is literally in one of the worst parts of town. But overall good atmosphere, good music, good hookah.

Music is turnt down. If you come with a party thats under 21 and youre over then be prepared to smoke a non tabbaco hookah price ranges from 20-40$ I went around 1 and didnt get my hookah for about 25 min just opened and i was second in line. Nice atmosphere cool workets.

Bouncers are rude and left us with a negative disapointed feeling. We had to be out by 4 Sharp. Not friendly worst hookah service Ive been to. Felt hated on. Others got to chill and me and my Hot wife had to leave promptly I will never go back I was celebrating a night out with my wife. Place looks great and no complaints on the guy who serves the hookah . Not a friendly place felt not welcome and rushed out. Fusion is much better also mirage and any other in between. Wish i could tell the owners to get a new lady at the desk and 1 of the bouncers was very rude in rushing us out. Never been treated like this.

They clean their hoses once every week.... itbwas a struggle to get them to clean ours. Take a Pass on the Hepatitis and ask them to clean first . Other than that it was a super nice chill place to be in. Not quite as pretentious as the other options near by but close. Whatever floats yah boat.

I am one to never complain. They make you wait in this long line even when it is not crowded. They never check on you to make sure you are okay. Holes in the sofa. They dont sell alcohol. It has nice pink lighting and music that is about it.

What a great place to catch late vibes

Had a great experience here for my birthday. I met alot of celebrities on a Friday night and they let me and my friend hang out with them and sit in their section. The hookah was awesome I had sex on the beach and blue mint (i believe) flavors mixed. The price was great. The only downsides were that the wait is so long if you dont know someone and they do not serve liquor so make sure you pre-game!

Very nice looking place. Bouncer up front are nice but once youre inside everyone was rude. The cashiers didnt acknowledge us (A group of 8) at all until we forced ourselves to grab his attention by calling him over. He seemed to only talk to the girls of our group and if a lady needed some help he would drop what he was doing (helping us) and go to them immediately. Hookah was also extremely expensive, starting at 30 bucks. Coming from the OC, I was not used to expensive prices but I just went with it. Unfortunately, after a hour of waiting, my group and I just decided to just leave.
