You would be surprised at could be listening in on their radio network. Im about ready to put on my best rags and boogie on over to the Awards Ceremony for a fine night of celebration!

It is very gratifying to be part of this wonderful young company The Akademia Music Awards. Knowing that nothing is free and you will have to fight, work, study. Dedication and discipline can be a great help to find what you want and to maintain it throughout life. The Akademia Music Awards is an excellent complement to promote the professionalism of the artist.

It costs todays top star from 300k$ to 1 million$ PER SINGLE to get on the radio. The time where the artist was paid to be heard on the radio, is over. Now the artists pay to be heard. So whoever complains about not getting much air-time when paying 50$/month, just doesnt understand the new musical industry. The Akademia is in the process of establishing credibility. It takes time.I went to the Red Carpet event on April 21st 2016. It was well managed. And the yearly award is only given to a few best artists, which has thus more credibility than the monthly award given to any serious artist. Its just a question of discernment, to understand how this music market works. Its good to have credibility where you can get it. The Akademia is trying to do this.

The Akademia gives you the opportunity to make discover your music worldwide as only an artistic agency can do it.

The Akademia Awards Gala exceeded our expectations. The Hummer Limos, Club 54 red carpet was nice. The participants packed the venue so a larger space will be needed next year but that is good progress. The Gala offers fun, networking, and opportunities indie artists will not find starting out. We shall return.

Our band Haivyn was awarded for our song Anymore. We were invited to their event at the Rose Bowl of all places. The entire night was free from limo ride to drinks. Akademia definitely put a lot financially into this event. Artist from all over the world came to be recognized and the night was not only about awards but an overwhelming rewarding feeling to so many artist that otherwise do not get patted on the back for their efforts and contributions to music.Just to clear any doubt, at no time were we asked to pay any fees to participate in the event. Thanks Akademia for a great time !!!

Great experience. I attended the 2016 Akademia Gala event. it was truly an outstanding event. I got a chance to talk with and network with artist from other parts of the world and all walks of life. The Akademia team is a fantastic group of people dedicated to helping artist realize their dreams.

I have read countless reviews about the Akademia Awards. Some favorable and some not so favorable. I would like to point out several things, no one forces you to submit to the Akademia Awards. Also, there are many reputable Indie Awards shows and contests that charge way more money to submit your songs. No one forces you to buy the award if you win, that is your choice. No one forces you to do the promotional package. This is something that they offer. They dont ever demand that you take that option. In their promotional services, they say they will promote you, and they do. You may not like the way they do it, but they do promote you. Guess what, you can say no. They never told anyone attending the Gala, that they would be winning a prize. You had the option of coming with an award that you already won or purchase a new one for photo ops. No one knew who was going to win that night, except for the executives. So, if you expected to win and didnt, then that is on you. People keep calling this company a scam. But have you actually spoken to them?? Have you really done your due diligence??? Akademia Awards allows you to call yourself an award winning artist. Appreciate that fact. If it werent for them, I dont know how many people would ever win or be recognized for their music. I had one person tell me, that they heard a demo that was submitted to Akademia and were shocked that they would want it. Music is Universal. Just because you dont like it, doesnt mean that someone else cant see the potential in an artist. Maybe Akademia is here to show you that you have some potential.

We are Ike and Val, winners of Best Blues Album 2016. The gala was a Blast! We got a chance to meet artist from all over the world and the CEOs of Akademia. It was a pleasant experience and first time (of many to come) walking a red carpet! Cant wait ti see the pics!

This is a rare company in the business that actually delivers. All the radio play, media coverage I received helped me a great deal to build up my presence in the music business.

Absolutely hated the event! My experience was horrible; for instance I was told in the year or 2015 that I had won an award I was expected to pay for, and then after being invited to the Rose Bowl Gala in Pasadena I travel 1000 miles to attend ceremony from Seattle, Washington only to find during song plays my song never even got played and then; if this was not enough I didnt feel very much welcome there with the security guard threatening to escort me off the premises for standing by the electrical plugs attempting to charge my phone so my wife could reach me when she called! Hands down after the event and it was all said and done with paying for my own hotel and plane ticket to arrive and not even getting my song played at the ceremony; including not even winning an award the trip for me was like a never ending nightmare around a bunch of unknown people Ive never met and an event that invited over one hundred people, but had at lease five hundred guest attending while only acknowledging a hand full of artist there I think like about ten or something. Like ten percent of the artist who went through great efforts to attend the award show, absolutely nerve racking two thumb down! I seen no evidence in the pictures to the video of me anywhere I wish I never been an artist so thieves like these slugs couldnt never take advantage of me. Quote by Lavontell Ford

Lots to say about this years Gala!As an Award Winning Musician and Publicist, The Akademia Awards has a long way to go, to be established with credibility. First, for any Red Carpet or any Award Winning Artist, you should always have a media board with the Artists name on it to begin with for the Press. There was no press, only one photographer. The Exectives shook our hands, but didnt ask what categories, what genre and so on. Next, just because an Award Venue has limousines for transport, again doesnt mean that an Award Show has credibility. It might be great for a Snapchat or Instagram photo but that would be the extent of it. As far as Networking, it wasnt what it was cracked up to be. You have an awards at a Club which is not credible and any industry professional will tell you that. Is it an opportunity to get your name out there, yes of course. But is it credible? No its not. Security also did not do a very good job of securing the upstairs, considered I got thrown into the front with people in drunken fits of rage and the Executives could hear the rage and saw it themselves and didnt say anything. My husband did however, as I got pushed into the fold several times by the drunken group. I told my Publicist about my experience and she said never again!I come from a Grammy Award Winning Family (13 Grammy Awards, including 2 nominations this year) and this is not the way that we are used to any awards show conducting business. Am I grateful to have won, yes of course. I didnt know what it is and now that I do, this is not something that I would promote, whatsoever. But the fact that everyone is a winner well that speaks for itself. Its a money making opportunity for a group of individuals to make money from the bar at the club, split profits from the hotels and limo company, and of course from the entry fees. The Artist Kit is not a kit at all. The Berkshire Media group is based in Europe and noone can really get in contact with anyone. The bots answer with the same answers to every email, saying anyone who writes this has not worked with The Akademia Awards. Well I have and as a Best Rock Song Winner, I say this was an experience. I got to meet up with my friends and colleagues in The Grammy Academy...but never, ever again!

As said in previous comments. Definitely a scam. Unfortunately I payed to submit songs before knowing this and didnt realize this until afterwards. Oh and by the way, this is coming from someone who won 2 awards. So its not like Im bitter. I will say, its quite an elaborate and well thought out scam. So for that Akademia, kudos. You have spared no expense in stealing and taking advantage of aspiring artists.Now, As Im quite sure some mysterious person who supposedly represents The Academia will respond to this, Let me say this. Youve done enough. You have my money already so please spare me a fictitious rebutte and just bask in your victory. I WILL NOT RESPOND. Im quite uninterested in doing so. Still, Im sure youll respond for the sake of protecting your livelihood. Which is scamming and manipulating unknowing musicians. I applaud your persistence. Imagine if you channeled such energy into making a real award show for independent artists. Its arguable that it would prove even more profitable than the farce you perpetuate with Akademia. Consider it.Funny thing, Im quite sure, even after everything said, you will still respond, saying God knows what. Ill say this, you guys are truely creative, so I cant imagine your rebuttle. Just keep in mind, that no matter what you say, even if you convince everyone around that you are real, YOU will always know the truth. Deep, deep down, you know. You may not care, but you know. Just got done getting picked up and dropped off and picked up and dropped off in a hummer limousine and i walked the red carpet in Pasadena at the rose bowl champions courtyard on aprill 21st enjoyed special rates at the hilton or a choice from two others the Pasadena inn the other slips my mindAt the akademia gala event we had an open bar all free their was so much alcohol theirThat after the awards were over everyones getting into limousines we even had a fist fight im sure the reason for that is that their was atleast 300+ people their free open barThe police that were their probly were drinking. Aswell cuz they were having as much fun as free drinks well allowWe had about 6 super hottie models in bikini and rome like attire shaken booties and taken pictures their was even a sexy buff model dude in that same clothing aswellTheir was media interveiws press and photographers it was flash after flashTheir were a choice of three different after parties aswell i on the other hand went back to the hilton cuz i had drank enough im these after parties were something though cuz it was after 2 am so they were something i can imagine but the akademia aint no joke so i cant say what i imagined it wouldve been likeMore importantly im new my names superlexxWell actually its Alexander Elliot dayton and thanks to the akademia im on major radio stations all around the world were talking Berkshire media group radio stations at that those are the big dogs in case you dont khowIm getting over ten thousand plays a monthly spins in heavey rotation my nAMES ON THE playlist remember now on a major radio stations playlistTheirs only about 40 to 50 artist names so its a huge honer remember 50 names is a huge line-up for a big radio station who might sometimes play other artists aswell but superlexx is sure to be played hundreds of times a monthly spins reportI have a bunch of royalties to collect if i wasnt so irresponsible considering last i heard my songs at number 1 since december and i havent heard otherwise all i need to do is get signed up with a pro like ascap bmi sesac tunecore told me they can still get my royalties for me .........
