I took the Intro to Wheel class at Cirque School and absolutely loved it! Take the class with Ian if you can -- he is an amazing instructor. He was able to explain things very clearly, was super encouraging, and made it fun -- even for beginners. Would highly recommend this class!

Did a one class session with my wife as a birthday present. Actually ended up being a lot more fun than i expected. The instructor was great. Cant have too high expectations for what you make in one class but the instructor helps out so you can take something worth while home. You can bring in beer or wine as well and definitely recommend this.

Lindsay was our teacher and she was absolutely the best. She explained everything in such a fun way and answered every last question we all had. Tom also helped us in the class and he was fantastic, as well! What a solid spot! Thank you both for a fun evening!

Great classes and studio!! I have taken two into to wheel classes at Clay By The Bay. They were both taught by great teachers, Todd and Didem. Each teacher had their own different way of using the wheel, style and personality!!

This was such a fun and wholesome team bonding activity. Lindsey was our instructor and she was great. Scheduling the visit with Conor was super easy too.

This is an incredible pottery studio ran by a team of very caring and helpful individuals. So happy I stumbled upon this studio! The staff and members make you feel at home and are very knowledgeable. Absolutely recommend!

If you are looking to take classes or are experienced with clay and live in the Bay Area CBTB is the place to be! The staff is friendly and professional. The studio is cleaned and organized. The equipment is state of the art. As a person who has taken several classes and became a member, I have nothing but great things to say about this studio.

Did the beginner 1 time course. Bring your own wine! So much fun and staff is soooo nice. Anyone can do it! Heads up takes 4-5 weeks to get your pieces.

Great coaches! They make a classes a nice mix between fun and learning. The facilities are a little older and a bit of a squeeze, but the equipment is new and very safe. They are also the only facility in the area that is affiliated with the US Gymnastics Association which is especially good if the gymnast wants to compete. Finally, the three owners are also coaches. They are very hands-on, accessible and seem to do this out of their love of the sport.

In short, I would recommend going elsewhere because the parking is awful, walking at night to the facility feels unsafe, the classes are overpriced, and the staff unfairly target customers.I had an absolutely horrible experience here due to a so called policy that they have about arriving late. My main issue is that this policy isnt enforced uniformly. In the past, they have let other class goers in late, and there was no issue. It makes me uncomfortable coming here and being targetted by this policy that they clearly do not enforce on everyone. They cite reasons such as upsetting teachers and causing injuries and the school falling apart for why they need this policy. When I witnessed other class goers coming late, the teacher was fine and nobody got injured. By no means was the school falling apart. They also mentioned that people were coming 15 minutes late and that caused the problems, which was not the case for me as I was only 5 minutes late. The policy is also draconian giving that they have no parking and only have 1 hr meters in front of the facility. Ive arrived over an hour early before couldnt, find any parking nearby, and had to walk nearly half a mile previously just to get to the class on time. It also makes me feel unsafe given the area they are in when its dark outside. This leads me to have to get a lyft there which makes the cost of class closer to $40, which honestly isnt worth it. Their classes are already on the more expensive end of the spectrum. Whats making their school fall apart is not people arriving late. Its being located in a busy area with no parking and expecting a lot of class goers who tend to be women walk far distances potentially in the evening to go to their overpriced classes. It also comes from targeting paying customers and only reserving reasonable human decency and understanding for a few of them and not all of them, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It just astounds me that a facility with no parking in a congested area would create a policy to target and penalize their loyal customers if they are there 5 minutes late. It doesnt take a genius to recognize that this is what is making the school fall apart.

Bad, unprofessional receptionist and so rude ... brought to my journey negative vibes ! So many circus classes in LA are much better and less expensive than this one.With respect!Best,

I wanted to be an acrobat as a child! I dont believe this dream will come true but this place did allow me to rekindle my child spirit and enjoy classes which help me work on my core, arms and flexibility while having fun and doing awesome moves!

Incredibly fun place to work out. Marco, Sarah, and Brandon are amazing. Ive become much more flexible and stronger in just a few weeks. Love this place!
